I used to really love Kolache Factory. But the quality and care has gone too far downhill to justify continuing to try. 3 of the 4 I ordered were incorrect, so god help anyone who comes in with allergies because you would be playing Russian roulette. As was said in other reviews, looks like they just mix them up on the display behind the counter. 30 seconds in a heater and they were still cold.

These are too expensive to not be made properly. When I get these it is on a rare occasion and I get about 8. Usually they are great. Today they arrived cold, the filling was skimp not just the meat but the sauce as well. The box was marked incorrect so I heated up two of the same. I won t be back for a while. With the cost of everything increasing I expect to get what I m paying for.

Brilliant business model of not just breakfast kolaches, but probably 20 different kinds from breakfast to lunch. I had the variety box of 12 that I ate over a few days. The best one is their sausage gravy inside of a kolache. I had a spinach and feta kolache that I would certainly come back for. Their ham and cheese was really good too.

Im visiting my daughter and family in Richardson and was all set for trying it out. I was disappointed that they had no breakfast egg Kolaches available and was told it would be 25 minutes until more were ready. This was at approximately 8am. Poor planning in my mind. That being said, what I ended up ordering was good. Their Cinnamon Rolls are very good. Im thinking I might have to try again and hopefully they will have what I want.

My boyfriend and I would always pass this place and finally decided to stop in one morning. The cashier was so rude and impatient right off the bat... we took a few minutes looking at the menu (as you do a place you ve never been before) and as soon as we started to place our order the girl cut us off and said, this is all we have . Pointing to a few trays of barely anything left that had been out for who knows how long. Then she proceeded to ask if we wanted our food heated up which we said yes to, only for it to not to be heated up and thrown into a bag COLD. I should have gotten her name but I was just so speechless from the awful service! No one should have to start their day being treated so poorly like this.

Kolaches have always been great, but my issue is with the female cashier that gave me such a hard time today just because I had wanted a box for the 4 kolaches that I wanted to order for a client. The box obviously looks way more presentable than a couple of paper bags, and this lady was very rude and not understanding at all. She tried to upsell me and force me to buy 2 extra kolaches that I didn t want, then only would she give me a box. Didn t know there was such a box shortage, but will definitely reach out to ownership about this. It s a shame because I typically have a great experience here because of the other employees that have been so cordial to me in the past. Update 6/12: Just to follow up on this, kolache factory didn t do anything to reconcile this whenever they told me to email them. Don t take your business to this location.

I always order pickup which is convenient, however my order always gets messed up somehow. Today they forgot a Kolache (waste of $4) and other times they give us the wrong ones. Also the chart where they lay out which Kolache is which is always wrong. It s the little things that happen repeatedly that are frustrating.

I like the kolache factory. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is patient and there is rarely a line If I have any challenge, they write a code on the inside of the cover of the box to remind you what you ordered and it is usually written messy and I just don t know what I am getting until the first bite. Again the food is delicious, just a surprise

Call in 20 minutes after and am told the food is ready. 45 minutes goes by and finally notifies the 3rd party delivery app. I call to ask what happened on it and just get no help and passed around on the phone to I understand your concern but what do you expect from us/ need . I didnt want to leave Dallas without trying a kolache! We can get them where Im from, but I know theyre kind of a Texas thing and I wanted to give them a go before we left the state for home. Luckily, this establishment was near our hotel! We came early Sunday morning (shout out for being open fairly early on a Sunday!) and grabbed several flavors to try. They have sweet and savory options, and breakfast and lunch oriented kolaches too. We got the cream cheese, sausage, egg, and cheese, bacon, egg, and cheese, and potato, egg, and cheese for breakfast. The service was pleasant enough and got our order out quickly; plus, the price was right at under $15 including a drink we grabbed from the cooler. They had peppy pop music playing from the speakers and there was enough seating for us to sit down and munch before hitting the road. One small point of frustration is its a little hard to tell the savory kolaches apart, at least the way ours were served. My dad got about 3 bites into my potato, egg, and cheese before realizing it was supposed to be mine. Theres also not a ton of meat in the ones that have meat (bacon and sausage) which further complicates trying to differentiate them. That aside, we enjoyed the super soft and pillowy bread. The eggs inside were cooked nicely and the potatoes were faintly spicy. These were a filling and fairly cheap breakfast that carried us all the way to mid-Arkansas, so cant be too mad about that. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity!

So many delicious options, from savory to traditional, egg, and fruit filled kolaches. We ordered Bar-B-Q Brisket, Bacon and Cheddar Cheese, Apple, Peach, and Cream Cheese kolaches. Oh my word they were delicious! The meat filling was flavorful and satisfying, the fruit filling was tart and sweet as youd expect, and the cream cheese was a pleasing palate cleanser to finish the meal, all baked into fresh, fluffy bread. Cashier was friendly and patient as we made up our minds. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. Easy access from the highway. Much higher quality kolaches than a typical donut shop, along with great service and coffee. Highly recommend.

Standalone store with very limited parking. Store was clean and in good repair. Staff was very very friendly and helpful. Kalaches were a good quality and flavor. Recommend the sausage gravy kolache.

Kolaches are stuffed full! Spicy ranchero with egg encompassed in a sweet roll is the winner! Super friendly workers too. The guy recognized us and makes us feel like regulars. Great coffee too.

Good food, prices are a lot higher the your standard doughnut shop. The serving size is generous so one is enough to fill you up. Some of the sweets are enough for 2 people. Order ahead, the staffing shortage means long wait time to get your in person order. Well worth it, but the high volume of customers Sunday morning made us late to church.

This location is amazing, but on behalf of a few friends, there s an older cashier gentleman that assaulted them all while throwing profanity at them. They are looking to file a lawsuit but I wanted to post this on their behalf so others are aware of the experience and are more weary.

Dulce, the manager at this location was an absolute lifesaver for me this week. I called her when our usual bakery company couldn t complete an order for the hotel I work at. I literally gave her 2 hours notice & she and her amazing staff were able to whip out 210 fresh kolaches for me. I made it back to the hotel with minutes to spare before an event was starting. Had she not been able to help me, 200 people wouldn t have had breakfast that day. I can t say enough good things about her, her staff & this great location.

The August seasonal kolache is amazing! I always get the sausage and gravy and polish sausage kolaches too. You cant go wrong with any of them. Lenny is so friendly and always has a smile on his face.

Sandra or Cassandra said the kitchen shutdown 2 hours before closing. She refused to make my order and wanted to sell old kola kolaches. She told a blatant lie and was very nonchalant. Very dull demeanor and minimum customer service

Cheap and filling and lots of choices. Sausage and gravy is my Midwest go to but some of the other options are pretty good as well.

I couldnt make up my mind and I was really hungry, because I didnt eat anything for dinner the night before so I got the cheeseburger, the chicken quesadilla, the smokehouse sausage and philly cheese steak. Of course I ate them all before making it back to work. I never realized they had this one that close to my job, I had only been to the one in Plano. Actually didnt know there was more than one, but since I know now Ill definitely be going a lot more often. I unfortunately didnt get a chance to take any pictures this time, Ill try to see if I can manage to get a pic or two before consuming everything on the next visit.

Absolute horror show. Ordered online, wait time was one hour, ok that s fine, a little long but I get it if they re busy. Stroll into the store at the estimated time, place was completely empty which puzzled me. Asked about the order, guy behind the counter just flat out told me the order wasn t even STARTED. No apology, no excuse, staff just didn t care. On top of which they had the audacity to tell us to wait another ten minutes for one of the items I d ordered in advance. I waited ten minutes and asked how much longer it would be, they told me ANOTHER ten minutes. After that, I told them to forget it and just give me one of the other flavors. If I hadn t paid in advance I would have walked out in disgust. The kolache s are ok, but this is the second time I ve dealt with lackluster sloth like service at this store. There s plenty of other stores in the area and it s just not worth this hassle; not going back.
