Waited over 20 mins for food and then some other customer came up returning an order, which happened to be ours, stating that he received the wrong order. The lady taking orders asked if we wanted it re-made. We definitely didn t want some food someone had already eaten out of. So we waited another 30 mins on the order and the food was mediocre. Will not be coming back.

We were invited to come out to Porkys Food Truck Park to have lunch with some friends and they recommended The Chicken Coop HTX food truck. We were very impressed with the quality of their food. It was HOT (temperature wise), fresh, and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed their Mac and Cheese and Mamas Dirty rice along with their catfish, shrimp (big and plump), and chicken tenders. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! HIGHLY recommended their food truck to enjoy. You wont be disappointed. Service was great too.

Food is good when they actually have it. I have visited them at porky s and on several occasions they didn t have Mac and cheese upon opening. It s one thing to sell out, it s another to not have it at all. Kind of annoying to drive there and they not have the item. I ve also drove other there during their normal business hours and they weren t open. It would be nice to have a heads up of schedule changes so customers know. I think the food is great, they just need to do better with customer service.

The food was so delicious, and the portions were big, I loves it sooo much! I got the 3 wings + 2 tenders and Mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned well and the chicken was crispy but juicy. 10/10 would recommend

I dont know what they put on the wings but they are the best wings Ive had. They dont even need a sauce. So much flavor and the perfect crunch. The price per wing is a bit high BUT believe me when I say, you will not find more flavorful wings than these. The truck also seems to he family owned. I love to see family owned businesses and will continue to support them as much as possible. The sides could be a bit larger. Their large container is not very large so you end up with lots of wings and very little sides if you order a large family sized meal. Thats the only critique but MAN these are good wings. I need to try the tenders next.

These guys have really perfected their craft. The flavor is spot on, wings are big, flavorful and crispy. The tenders are big and flavorful. The dirty rice is soooo good. Mac n cheese is creamy! Seasoned fries are the perfect soft and yummy. We will be back 100x before the end of the year I m sure, but I won t be surprised if they become a brick and mortar by then. My man said This is the best chicken I ve ever had! We re big fans

The food AND the customer service are top notch! We tried the flip and dipper so we could get a taste of both wings and tenders. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. In addition, my interactions with the owner/staff were like chatting with family. I thought the mac and cheese was missing from my order so I called back. They were happy to make it right. Turns out it had fallen out of my bag in my car. When I called back to tell them not to worry about it, we just laughed it off. I will definitely be back very soon.

AMAZING food! Mac & Cheese is the best I ve ever bought that wasn t homemade. That s a must get. Got the sampler and it was A TON of food for your money and great value. Fish had a special seasoning that was so good. Wings and tenders were both huge and full of flavor. It was also really easy and great service while ordering and they ll give you a buzzer if there s any wait so you can hang out in your car. Highly recommended.

Wow. This place is awesome. I was surprised at the large portion sizes. The catfish fillets were huge, crunchy and seasoned well. The wings were a really good size, breaded and seasoned well. The chicken tenders really big, crunchy, and still nice and juicy. The sides were all good size. The Mac and cheese is excellent. Its super rich creamy, and has really good mix of seasoning. Whoever gave them a bad review on that probably likes the box with powdered cheese. Fries were crunchy and seasoned well. The only knock would have to be the dirty rice lacked in seasoning. Especially compared to everything else being so well seasoned. Definitely a restaurant quality meal. I also have to say it was relief that the food tasted so good. So often when you get fried food that does both fish and other things the grease tastes burnt or is fishy. So if you havent tried them, you really need to. Kudos.

I bought some wings from the Atascocita area. I didnt realize wings were on sale until I drove out. Man you have a good thing going. Very clean, fresh, and unique flavor! I was not expecting what I got? Congratulations on your amazing food! Oh and the dirty rice is on point!

We were Vendors next to The Chicken Coop at Summer Jam this year. My boyfriend and I ordered their wings and these are hands down the best wings I have EVER had. The seasoning they use has SO much flavor and the quality of meat is very high! I will always look for these guys whenever I am in the area. You guys rock!

I ordered The Reel which came with 1 piece of fried catfish, 3 shrimp and a side of seasoned fries. I also wanted to try the Mac and cheese so I ordered a side of that as well. It was all delicious but my favorite was the catfish. I love how it was fried and it had a very clean taste. If you eat a lot of catfish you will know what I mean. I ll definitely be back.

The food was SO GOOD I forgot to take a picture SMH! I got the TailBone and it was FIRE The flavor was amazing! I don t know how the owner pulled this off, but he s clearly either working with GOD or the Devil . But seriously, I m glad I decided to support this black owned business
