My husband and I came in at around @10am on 9/21. We were not greeted but instead were just stared by the 2 young ladies behind the cash register. They were not friendly or welcoming at all. Looked miserable to there. They were rude, and could hardly hear her speak. I recommend more training on welcoming customers and being more friendly. These 2 young ladies did not make it a good experience.

I used to eat lunch here about once a month for several years. The last two times have been horrible. Extremely slow taking orders at the counter. Waited 25 minutes for a half sandwich and cup of soup. Wind up getting the wrong sandwich. Now waited another 20 minutes for the correct sandwich. Still not here. I m done with this place.

Some of the people are not very friendly. I ordered a bagel sliced to go didnt ask for it to be toasted. They toasted anyway or should I say burned it. Then she got an attitude because I told her I didnt want it toasted and wanted a new one because it was burned. Once I got the new bagel it was good.

Like many people, I believe that most businesses have gotten sloppy after the whole Covid situation but Panera is probably one of the best examples. Been to several since but Ive been to this one the most since its the closest to me. The food almost 100% of the time comes out wrong, (wrong dressing, missing ingredients...) also when you order to go its clear that they give you way less quantity than when youre at the store. Place looks dirty and the employees seem like theyre lacking motivation. Some places deserve to go out of business and Panera is one of those.

This is my favorite spot after my workout for protein/fiber packed food/drink They stop selling the muffins and most of their cookies, also the customer service was horrible this am, one lady was cutting bread and never spoke, never said good morning, someone will be with you in a moment. What was the issue? I hope it wasnt because she didnt speak English but this would not surprise me because the restaurants in Houston have non English people serving you Ridiculous

I went to Panera around 1:00 PM Sunday April 7th & I must say the service was extremely poor. Starting with the rude cashier girl plus no printing paper to print even the receipt. Then I went to the womens rest room & the door lock was malfuntioning, broken tiles on the wall, no paper towels to wipe hands. Then they took 30 min to bring me a sandwich & I asked with no cheese & the sandwich was full of cheese. Utensils section was not stocked properly with no lids for the cups or even napkins. Poorly maintained place. Will avoid going there for some time.

I ve been recently here moments ago to pick up an order on behalf of Uber. They are delivery, signed, specifically says for DoorDash and Uber drivers to pick up at the register. The young lady saw me come in, did not greet me at all, completely ignored me and continued to help people that arrived in the store. The food is great, when they fix it correctly (which is rare). It is the worst customer service of any restaurant in the area. If they are out of something, they fix it differently without informing you or offering a replacement. You have to check your order and unwrap all your food before you leave the restaurant. If they mess up, they never admit it and rarely give a refund. So sad because it is one of the only healthier options in the area, but I will not order from this location again. Portions are getting smaller and smaller every time I order. You pay over $3.50 for chicken on a salad and get about 4 small bite size strips of chicken. Management needs a complete overhaul and owners need to be more in the loop about their inexcusably awful customer service.

The people working were super polite. They notified me after my order at the kiosk that they were out of steak. Its 9:20am and this place is disgusting. They are already out of strawberry, bananas, etc. Cant answer basic questions regarding menu. Drink area is sticky from old spilled soda. You can yell this place doesnt get cleaned as much as it should. Also, a notice of non-compliance from the fire department taped on the front door. Apparently there are a few fire hazards. So not only are they oit of most food, but you might get burned also.

Made the mistake of trying to order from Panera 1960 Atascocita tonight. We ordered 4 items for delivery and only two were in the bag. The receipt was not checked by their staff in spite of having places to check for the items and confirm them. We called and asked for the items to be delivered and they said they could not re-deliver them. I had to drive there to pick them up. I drove there and asked the manager why they couldn t and he said it s store policy. He never apologized or offered to refund my order. I had to ask him to do so. This is for the owner of this location, It is imperative that you FIRE EVERYONE at this store and start fresh, this includes management. I love the Panera brand, and so I have visited this location more than once with the hopes that my previous bad experience would be my last. However, I have had no such luck. I have called several times to place an order by phone, but no one ever answers. They are frequently out of product, various breads and chips to be exact. And finally the service is lacking at best. The store is rarely ever full, but the wait is always long. The service folks love to talk to each other, while you stand there waiting for them to acknowledge your presence. It is the absolute worst. If you love Panera like I do, GO ELSEWHERE. There are so many other great locations out there with better service, and fully stocked supplies. Going forward, Ill be going to the Kingwood store.

Every time I go to this location they are pretty much out of EVERYTHING I usually order. Today my order was delivered to me and was missing all the customizations I added to my sandwich, no bread bowls that we paid extra for with our soup and none of the correct sides that were placed with the order. Five of us were there for breakfast on a Tuesday morning around 8:00 AM and each item came piecemeal. If I ordered a bagel and soufflé they came at separate times. Irritated by my recent order, and incredible lack of service. Traveling for work - needed to grab a quick bite. I placed the order via app (small order, just a You Pick Two) and arrived to pickup. It was ready... but when I asked the staff where their To-Go orders are they pointed me to the main counter in the back (not the shelf near the main entry). So I stood there for 5+ minutes for no good reason. Oh well. Grabbed my bag, finally. Got back to my hotel and the soup - which I asked to have no pumpkin seeds - had seeds. And my salad - which I asked for (and paid for) extra cheese had NO cheese. Honestly, if it was a big order or a busy time, Id have more sympathy. Stopped by this morning to grab a bagel and the place was very empty, as I walked in, there were 2 employees and one manager (black lady with braids) I was not greeted upon arrival, the manger was telling the employee that she did something wrong and she would have to do some math to make sure her register was right. The other employee was also counting a register, I stood in front of the three of them no one said good morning, or welcome to Panera or how can I help u. They acted like I wasn t even there, very unprofessional and if the manager was talking to her employee like that of course she would not greet me. Wasnt going to make a big deal about it and just take off what was unwanted however, after a few bites... my handicapped father pulled an onion string out of his mouth that had long hair cooked in it. I love Panera, but this one is so mismanaged, it is awful - Panera should pull their franchise. Numerous times I have placed on-line orders for bagels, have the order accepted, gotten and email telling me the order is ready, only to receive a phone call after I am on my way to the store telling me we had some big orders and we are out of your bagels. Amazing how they always get big orders on the days I want bagels. And when i say I can get them later if they bake me some, I am told they only bake at night so they cant bake fresh - I though this was supposed to be fresh food, but they are really selling day old baked goods, since they are all baked the night before, and if they dont guess right, too bad. Today I ordered bagels at 6:30 AM, and they dont open until 6, but they are out!! And when I complained to the manager - nothing, just Im sorry, we had big orders - no offer of a free bagel or pastry for your inconvenience - truly horrible customer service - it is amazing they are still in business - I have to drive 25 minutes out of my way to get to a Panera that actually cares about its customers

I was not greeted upon my arrival, and even made eye contact with two employees before the third employee asked IF I had been helped. The employees were eating on the floor behind the beverage station, and having personal conversations loud enough to here in the lobby. My expectations are very high for this area, which is especially why I chose Panera for breakfast. I do not eat McDonalds, so I dont expect to receive McDonalds customer service from this restaurant chain. In addition, the front register employees was so tied up in their personal conversation, that they forgot one of the item I ordered. I most likely will not come back to this location. Thanks.

Update: 03.13.2023 - Well, I decided to give Panera Bread another try. And, thanks, Panera Bread, you did not disappoint. I paid $12.88 for the Baja Chicken Bowl, and this is all the food I get. Twelve bites! You definitely need to reaccess the amount of food you serve or raise the prices. Ridiculous! I decided to place an order on the Panera Bread app for pickup ASAP. Well, Panera Bread determined ASAP would be 24 hours after my order was placed. I did not notice the time of pickup and drove 25 minutes to the restaurant. Once I arrived, Panera Bread was closed. REALLY! All of this fancy technology and your app cant tell me this location is closed.

So disappointing.. we have eaten at Panera several times. It has been a while, but this was our first and last at this location. It started off with horrible counter service. I couldnt read the menu so I asked if they had a paper one, was looked at like I was speaking a different language.. so then I decided to simply ask questions about an item I wanted and again got a blank stare and acted as if I wasnt speaking. Finally managed to get a sandwich ordered, (still not have much conversation or interaction). We were both so confused on the sides.. twice was told something about apple chips or bread.. I specifically asked are they potatoe Chips? And no straight answer. Also, the soda machine was out of order and they only had specialty teas and lemonade. I was asked if I wanted a receipt and I said, yes please. And didnt get one until I asked again. The food was ugh, ok. I ordered delivery for dinner and it initially gave me a timeframe from 8:27-8:37PM. My ordered didn t arrive until 8:42PM. When Doordash arrived they just left the bag at the door and did not bother to ring the doorbell. Also the bags arrived unsealed so everything was exposed. How was this being safe or sanitize. the manager was so rude to me, i asked for extra sauce on my sandwhich and she gave me the worst attitude i ve ever encountered at a fast food place. my broccoli cheddar soup was old and super cold. i should ve just went to potbelly down the street. never again.

Got our order for in-house instead of to go when I repackaged they put the salad dressing into the salads by the time we got home 45 minutes Later it was all soaked and saturated and the salad order was wrong called and talk to the manager who appeared not to really care simply applied I m sorry and that was it no customer service at the Atascocita store in Texas foods great people are less desirable atmosphere would make me go somewhere else

I ordered rapid pickup iced coffee with special instructions and upon my arrival the cashier handed me an empty cup after she saw me looking around for my order. After telling her it was a rapid pickup order she proceeded to tell me they don t serve coffee and I had to get it myself. I then explained that I did rapid pickup with special instructions and she had me wait longer for her to assist another two customers before making my coffee. She didn t even give me the right drink it tasted like a fruity black tea that she had just added cream to make it look like an iced coffee. I go to many paneras but they never get my order right and the service is just terrible at this particular location.

This Panera location has inept, irresponsible, unresponsive management and is completely incapable of being able to handle orders from Doordash. They will accept an order they KNOW they cant fill, but they dont tell you that until the driver shows up to pick up an order. They dont have the courtesy or professionalism to reach out to the customer. Management hides and takes no accountability for how poorly this location is run. They create confusion and customer dissatisfaction. Do yourself a favor, save yourself the headache and disappointment and just find somewhere else to eat.

When placing a mobile take out or delivery order, make sure to double check what you receive. This location consistently misses items or provides the wrong items. Mangers are not responsive when requesting refunds for missing items and calling Paneras corporate customer service number will only redirect you back to the store. Besides the bagels, coffee, and soups the rest of their menu items just arent that great. I would put them on the same level as Starbucks sandwiches that are taken out of a plastic wrap and placed into an oven. Definitely better options in the area.

This used to be one of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch. The food now is subpar, either comes out cold or without all of the ingredients. The cold beverages are often out and I have been served food without a napkin or utensils. The women s bathroom is consistently dirty and has been without soap twice. It really needs to be updated. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the employees are pleasant.

My wife has been under the weather a lot lately. She loves chicken noodle soup and when feeling herself she makes the absolute best chicken noodle soup (her own modified recipe). I ve purchased chicken noodle soup to go from just about every restaurant in Atascocita and the restaurant where she sends me to buy her chicken noodle soup is Panara s. She s never disappointed. Sometimes she ll ask for something else to go along with it but the soup is the priority. I usually order the large bowl and while I think it s a little pricey for a bowl of soup, it makes her feel better so it s worth it.

I finally visited Panera Bread for the first time yesterday and went in originally wanting to try their soup. I came across the chose 2 deal so I went ahead and got a bowl of the Broccoli and Cheddar soup and a 1/2 Turkey sandwich. I also added on a cup of the Home style Chicken Noodle soup. Both of the soups were very good and would get both again, however the sandwich I did not care for and only took a few bites and threw it away.. Another reason I cant give it 5 stars is I was disappointed that they do not have crackers for their soups rather they give you big pieces of bread that were extremely dry and did not care for that either.. I personally as most people do prefer crackers to go with my soup so I would recommend looking into adding these into the menu to go along with the soup. That being said I would give it another try for their soups but soups only.

What I ve ordered hasn t been bad but I was put off quite a bit when I asked the cook to warm a cinnamon roll and she told me to use the microwave at the front of the store. That may be a normal Panera Bread thing but it s definitely odd to ask a dine in customer to waltz over to a dirty microwave that s under a shelf at the front of the store. I agree with the other reviews about the cleanliness/walls, they could use a good cleaning.

This place is TERRIBLE!! We went last night and of course they hadnt put my sandwich in the bag at all. Thank goodness I checked the food. The place in itself looks old and dirty. My cinnamon roll I got was hard and seemed like it been there two days. I ate it this morning and even after heating it it was GROSS! The management needs to change here. There is an entire post with at least 200 comments about this Atascosita location on my nextdoor page. This is the only panera in this area but it definitely needs to be SHUT DOWN!

Cleanliness is an issue here. The floors are dirty and sometime slick from grease, the walls need to be cleaned, the kitchen looks a mess, and there is seldom soap in the ladies bathrooms. It just doesn t look clean there anymore and it smells musty. The food is okay but the people behind the counter are touching everything with their gloves on. They might as well not be wearing gloves.

It s been 6-8 months since I ve been here and it will be 6-8 more before I come back. I paid 30 dollars for two pick two s and it was less than mediocre. I went to longhorn and ordered from the lunch menu a few days prior and paid the same amount of money but the food quality was far superior. I m only giving two stars because of the staff.
