Pretty well kept. Just a tone of mosquitoes so we couldnt really enjoy too much. Definitely needs maintenance to do a chemical spray or something.

Very spacious but shady park. They have swings, slides, and a few other playground equipment. The park is away from main streets and is actually in the deeper part of the neighborhood. There is a small community library for the kids to get books from or to donate too. There is also a small walking trail that is around .25 miles and Ive seen blue jays and cardinals there.

Concrete bike trails(great for my bike trailer with +2), a small creek, and a pretty cool shaded playground, I believe the full trail is 2.5 miles (not a circle) and goes under the highway, but me and my littles only went about a half mile in.

This park has been redone recently and WE LOVE IT! Great walking path and my almost 2 year old loves the new playground with toddler sized slides and swings! Playground: Great for Itty Bittys and big kids. They have toddler size slides and a swing you can sit on with your kid as well as one for easy access for children with disabilities. Lots of fun for everyone. Dog-friendliness: Weve seen dogs here every time weve visited. The path behind the playground is great for walking them. Picnic area: There is a picnic bench and random benches to sit along the walking path.

Update, they used to have bigger slide but they took them out and remodeled. I understand cause the other structure was pretty tall and probably dangerous for some kids that werent taught better. Overall it is still a cool park but the play structure is more for small children now. Walking trails are unchanged and still cool

This is our favorite walking trail in the area. We visit this place at least once or twice a week, start here and walk all the way to the other end most times. This will take you to the south end of downtown Burleson on the north most end for the trail. The park was recently renovated and now has very new equipment and a nice subsurface for the playground. There is also now a little book box and a bike repair tool as well. Playground: Brand new, newly renovated. Toilets: There are no restrooms located at this park.

We love this little park! The playground is a hit with the kids and the walking path provides plenty of shade and fun stuff to look at. Playground: Love the swings. They have one that my 6 month old loves! Dog-friendliness: We see people walking dogs here all the time. The fountain is pet friendly and the doggie bag stations are always stocked with bags so owners can keep the park clean. Picnic area: Surprisingly big picnic area with plenty of grill space!

This park has been rebuilt and although the kids missed the 2-story part, they still had a good time. Overall, much improved. Playground: Nice solid rubber ground cover. Swings for babies and up. Self-propelled merry-go-round. Two slides. Plenty of climbing opportunities.

Great Park. I currently live almost two hours away and was visiting a friend with my family. Even in the heat of the day, it was tolerable because of the design and tree cover. My two children, one 3yr old girl and 1 year old boy, had a blast. We also enjoyed the trail and information they posted about the local wildlife. We will visit again when the chance arises. Playground: Plenty of things for children at least up to 10 years old to enjoy. Swing set, merry go round, as well as climbing obstacles and slides. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room for a dog to walk and play. Picnic area: Two or maybe three sets of picnic tables as well as benches positioned around the play area and along the trail.

Ok they did a remodel on this park and its great so far! We stopped by during construction and the team that was there was excellent. They showed my son what they were doing and the truck driver even offered to let him sit in the forklift, but he was shy!! Awesome little nature trail too! Take the family out here for a nice day! Pack drinks and snacks and enjoy them at the shaded picnic tables!

They are re-doing the parking lot. This is a great place to bring kids to play. There are nature trails and signs for a learning experience. Its shady, too, so the kids can play in the summer without burning themselves on the play structure. There are no restroom facilities at this park.

I really like that this park is shaded and has a trail right next to it. My kids can play in the trees a bit, which they love. Its not great for toddlers because most things require you to climb. Most parks in Burleson arent very toddler friendly and theyre all pretty similar. I feel like every time I sit down ants crawl up and bite me so I try not to sit down much. My kids really enjoy going though and I like bringing their bikes and scooters to go down the trail. I also wish there was a bathroom option.

Great little neighborhood park. Our daughter is almost two and was still able to enjoy the swings and slides with some help. The playground tower has different parts for climbing and the taller slides are pretty fast which is fun for older kids. There s also a nice walking trail. The Burleson city website says, The concrete trail s length is 2.4 miles tip to tip and is 10 feet in width and has 2 trail heads with 1 at the corner of Rigney Way and Scott Street in Burleson s Old Town District, and the other located at the Oak Valley Park North.
