We wanted a different choice other than another popular, local place for seafood. We chose Rockfish. What a great choice! We got different entrees and shared an appetizer. Very high quality food. Service was excellent then and again on our second visit. So it is really good food with really good service. I also liked that the Manager was attentive to all patrons. Best of all we feel the menu is well priced and there are lots of menu items. We would have spent almost twice the money at the other seafood restaurant. Lets just say Rockfish has two new regular customers. We will be back and try some of their advertised specials. Parking: It looked like close to unlimited parking.

The summer menu coconut shrimp was really good. After that everything went down hill. Our waiter didn t check on us for thirty minutes, and we had to walk back to the kitchen to get tea refills. When our waiter finally came over he made all kinds of excuses and never apologized. When we finally got our meals they were not good, my husband had food poisoning from the shrimp scampi and this is what the salmon cakes looked like, we tried one and left the rest. We have been coming here since it opened and Mark was in the in-house manager, but the food and service have drastically declined.

We came in as a party of 9 tonight with one of them being handicap. The staff immediately noticed and without hesitation and quickly seated us. The staff was so polite and checked in with us at the table often. They took their time with us being indecisive with our order. They made my handicap sister feel seen and normal that was so good for us to hear from her. We will be forever thankful for the service we received. We are also from Louisiana so to have our style of food in Texas and for it to be good!!! We were all extremely impressed we are very non-forgiving when it comes to food. We will definitely be returning when we are back in the area.

I have lived in Arlington for about 14 years. My daughters and I eyed Rock Fish for a very long time and finally decided to try them out. Never again will they get my money! The patron cocktail was not good, and the entree food was not seasoned! We had oysters for an appetizer, and they were gritty as though they werent cleaned thoroughly. Bartender was friendly and attentive, with good service! However, the raw Oysters I had were contaminated, and I unfortunately contracted a food borne illness from them, and feel like I ve been hit by multiple trains If you get the Oysters here make sure they are cooked! The management team also needs to ensure proper care for the Oysters prior to serving them and make sure they are clean. Vibrio and Norovirus are still a risk with Oysters! Overall good place, may try a fried dish next time though!

OMG. Mad props to the chef from last night, Sat. 3/23. BEST meal we ve had in long time! The herb chicken, green beans and broccoli were to die for, perfectly cooked and seasoned. And the grilled salmon and sides were equally delectable. Keep it up! We ve been going since 2003 and we think last night s meals were the best we ve ever had there. Food is scarce on your plate for the price. I personally have tried them 3-4 times hoping for better. Service was under par.

Meal: maple old fashion, plank salmon (seasonal special), and the bombs appetizer. I cant judge the alcohol well. Either their bartender that night wanted me to be a diabetic, or the recipe wasnt great. Regardless, the drink was way too sweet to drink. Which, an old fashion should never be. The bombs appetizer was solid. Probably a 4.out of 5 stars. Cheesy, fired balls with some spice. What is not to like? The worst part was.the entree. The shrimp that came with it were so over cooked that they were hard and terrible. The salmon was obviously not fresh as it was bland and dry. The potato hash side was good. It was a mix of seasoned potatoes. Broccoli side was also bland and could use some salt or butter. Overall, food wasnt great. For the taste, the food was way over priced. 15-20 per plate is too much for bad food. Service was slow. The bartended obviously was probably a server who made drinks when needed. Didnt look like that was his skill set at all. He didnt even try to run other servers drinks and let them sit at the bar. Atmosphere was good. It was too bad the rest was terrible.

Enjoyed the shrimp and grits and catfish Pontchartrain, but the etouffee lacked flavor. The waiter was very attentive and observant. Biggest turnoff was it smelled fishier than I expected. I know its a seafood restaurant, but the fishy smell kinda came in waves the entire time we were there.

We went for late lunch today. Food was okay. I always get bread pudding as the bread pudding is usually moist and tasty especially with the warm sauce. It was dry and didnt have enough sauce today. So I asked for more sauce. Our waitress never brought the sauce even though she was standing around the kitchen. Asked another staff member who was wearing chef top for the sauce. He brought the sauce but was not heated. It wasnt the usual warm watery, syrupy sauce but a cool solid mix of syrup and ? butter. I wish I had taken the picture of the sauce. I was disappointed with the service today.

Was not expecting much from an almost empty restaurant. Service was friendly. Server wasnt very knowledgeable about the menu items and allergies. But I understand because its a lot to keep track of and its better to always check with the chef. But a fantastic meal. Crab cakes were surprisingly good, and a great deal , 3 for $14.99. Would definitely come back
