I thought hostess were suppose to make costumers feel welcomed lol? Did not feel that way when we walked in, host without glasses was acknowledging her phone more then getting us seated, acting like she was annoyed by customers and just giving me an ugly attitude and whats so ever could also say the same her acknowledging/ flirting with the servers more and just giving me such an ugly look as yes I was looking at her when she passed by, the server was okay did ask for a manager but never came by our table so heres a review, enchiladas were amazing, only issue was the front face. Management is failing, owner should take notice.

Visited during lunchtime for a table of five, we got seated right away. The hostess, waitstaff, & management were all very hospitable. I cant remember our writers name (Travis, maybe? Glasses, taller dude) but he was excellent, not just with us but the other tables around us as well. Kudos to him! The manager (Amber? I really hope my listening skills are still sharp, lol) also stopped by twice to check in. Food was delicious, nice & hot. My sister in law is a vegetarian, of course its nice to see several options for her rather than just one or two. She had a salmon dish which she said was good, my brother enjoyed his chicken bowl, Dad devoured his steak/chicken fajitas, while my mom & I enjoyed enchiladas. Im also very happy that they made an accommodation for my allergies, I am allergic to shrimp so instead of shrimp & crab enchiladas they made mine with just crab. They didnt skimp on the crab either & oh my... UH-MAZINGGG! Restrooms needed a little love & the menus probably couldve been wiped down. Prices are what youd expect for quality & portion of food, no complaints there. Other than that, quick & friendly service with tasty food! Weve been here several times & will continue to do so, happy to have an Uncle Julios in Arlington! Vegetarian options: Very considerate that there are several options! Parking: Ample parking around the building.

Girl in blue at the front, the hostess, was extremely rude, I m assuming she was having a bad day and ready to go home since she was having an attitude with me with the worst tone. I had asked for the wait time and when she said how long I turned to my husband and he noticed her rolling her eyes and shaking her head. I asked why and if possible a booth she kept talking back with a nasty attitude and facial expression. At the end we didn t stay, I hope she enjoys that the attitude she gave brought her restaurant multiple stars down, please hire better service.

As a long time fan of the Uncle Julios chain, I was disappointed with several things this evening. We sat at the bar since it was a busy Saturday night. The service was brisk and efficient, mostly. The order wasnt 100% correct, and I was served a drink in a glass that had a crack, but the thing that really irritated me was that I had the feeling that, since we were bar eaters, we were given lack-luster food. What I mean by that is that when the beef fajitas came out, even though the server said, Careful, the plate is very hot..., it was obvious that it wasnt. I touched a piece of the steak at it was cold. Not hot. Not even really warm. It appeared as if it had been sitting out for a bit, and they tried to pass it off as fresh. (For those who have eaten at UJs before, you know the fajita iron plates come out sizzling and steaming. Its kind of a thing. THIS plate was no where near like that.) Anyway... had this been my first experience, I wouldnt go back. But I have had amazing times and food at other locations, so Ill just mark this as a bad day.

I hope this reaches the general manager of the restaurant. Instead of reporting to cooperate, I prefer to make a complaint here and allow the general manager to address it first. Dined in today, Wednesday night. Throughout my years in customer service, I have never witnessed a server using such inappropriate language and behavior in front of customers. Although I am a regular customer, this was my first encounter with this particular server. I asked another server for her name and was informed that her name was Angela and that she was new. It was appalling to see her touching her coworkers and then handling our food. Additionally, there were several times where she went to the back and returned with a scent of smoke and an unpleasant odor lingering around her. Regrettably, unless better servers are hired, I do not think I will be returning.

This will be long. Lol My family and I went here this past Sunday and I had to leave a comment even though it has been almost a week. I havent been here in a while just because another location kind of turned me off. But this one right here, the service and atmosphere was great! Our server was very pleasant and the manager even came to our table and stopped to check in on us. Most of the time when managers do this It feels ungenuine, but this manager truly made us feel like he cared. We are always looking for places to eat in the Cedarhill and Arlington area and honestly this was the best experience we had in a very long time. On top of that, the food was good and fresh, love the salsa!! Thank you for your great service we will be returning!

In all my years in customer service have I ever heard of a restaurant who is open not taking pickup orders. The lady on the phone informed me that they don t take Togo orders on Sunday. Hmmm I would say this is a big issue for a business. We have been patronizing since 1994 at Camp Bowie. Never again will I patronize the Arlington location. Updated: Ordered from Bar. Manager on duty informed me he would speak with who took my call. Still not coming back to this location. Store needs more staffing everyone seemed overwhelmed. Never feels that way at Fort Worth. I d suggest hiring more help.

I experienced my 30th birthday here and it was nothing less than magical! From the moment I stepped In the host was attentive as well as Amber the GM! She made my family and I feel so welcomed and seen. Truly a beautiful soul. Then to top it all off Gloria, our waitress was so knowledgeable and patient! I have been going to Uncle Julios since the mid 90s starting with the restaurant in Fort Worth I have been very disappointed in Arlington new restaurant. Its like if its not broken, dont fix it and fir some reason you all thought it needed to be fixed. Me and my husband just ate here. We waited 10 mins before our waitress came to our table to ask for our drinks. 20 mins for chips and salsa. We came at 11:30. The booth was dirty. There was food waste on the floor. Not clean at all. When our food came out it wasn t even hot and barely warm. We asked for extra hot salsa. They didn t have any. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive as I had empty glasses twice and had to wait quite awhile before she came to bring fresh drinks. They weren t busy yet it took a very long time for us to receive our food and it was not hot at all or taste fresh. This location is below bar.

I have gone to Uncle Julio s many times and have never had a bad time until the last 2 times I have gone. The food was very salty and cold as well. The service was slow and not paying attention as much. My flour tortillas tasted as if they had made them an hour ago and they were hard as well. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the queso was good. I suggest telling them not to put salt in your food if you do not like a lot of salt in it. The most racial and discriminatory experience I ve experienced thus far. A party (white ppl) were on the patio with two tables occupied the snobby waitress stated there will be an extremely long wait for someone to clean one table on the patio (being that party was the only ones outside and it wasn t private)we said we ll wait she even emphasized it will very long and not sure when one will come available( the whole patio is empty with 11 empty tables) We asked about the patio on opposite side of the building and she said it was closed. A white couple comes in literally 2 mins later and they sit them on the patio immediately. We didn t make a fuss but we brought it to the manager attention and he made a bigger excuse bc he knew it was racial. He said they only had two servers and now we can go out there on the patio or the one on the other side of the building well we thought that one was closed?! But ok we good. Never again

We hadnt been to Uncle Julios in about a year, but had no issues at that time. We hosted a couple visiting from out of town and were disappointed on May 3rd. We had a res., & were seated at a booth that really couldnt accommodate 4 adults and our plates and glasses graciously. It was quite loud, and our server had trouble hearing us. The bacon-wrapped shrimp (Shrimp Diablo, I believe) had undercooked bacon. The ladies taco salads were fine, but didnt come to the table until 15 minutes after both mens meals were delivered!! Yes, our server apologized, but the timing was quite awkward! It was just not a good experience, to say the least. Ive removed the Uncle Julios app from my phone!

The hostess says the servers dont get there till 4, but we saw servers all over the restaurant. So we decided to go to Bar and order a drink while we wait for these so called servers. First thing being seated was one of the glass cups was chipped. Told someone about it and they just removed it without saying a word. The food isnt so great. The presentation of the food is great. The atmosphere is nice. That could be why the food is pricey. Had dinner to-go for first time here in awhile the menu/food had some noticeable changes. The cheese enchiladas were delicious. I don t get meat on top and was sick of that special agave queso sauce that I had to get previously that would cost me extra to have. Also, the red salsa is a nice break from that brown salsa (yuck) even though the to-go server didn t tell me about the options when I placed my order with her. What a beautiful restaurant! Laurie was a very friendly server, however she delivered my margarita overflowing and I had to ask for paper napkins to clean the mess. (blood orange margarita, great flavor, lacking tequila) It took 20 minutes to receive chips and salsa (which were worth the wait) and 40 minutes to receive a salad and ground beef enchiladas. Both entrees were sub par for the cost. The prices for everything are too much for my personal wallet. I had to convince myself it was worth a $85.00 bill for two people with one drink. Had to focus on the patio, the great chips and salsa, the music and my date to do so! Will not return.

I dined in last night and as always the food was great, but the service was top tier! Our waiter Rashad was so helpful! I usually get the same thing when I order, but was in the mood to try something different. He suggested the crab and shrimp enchiladas and WHEW!!! His attitude was great as well, he did a great job of checking up on us and making sure that we had everything that we needed.

The food and drinks were delicious, but the service was extremely slow - they were not busy and were not understated lots of people just standing around :( took 45+ minutes to get our food and drinks sat enjoy empty for more than 10 minutes and we had to shears ask for a refill. Total time at table was 1 hr 45 min for four meals (14 empty tables around us) Parking: Plenty of parking available :) Wheelchair accessibility: 6 handicap spots right up front!

Service was really slow.. Took forever to get our food. Additional items were added to our check(the manager did take care of that after we left the restaurant after we called) a tip was added somehow to the check as well.(also refunded) the checks were not split correctly. The food was cold. My sister ordered a Dr pepper while the rest of us had water and it was about 40 minutes before she ever saw it. The restaurant wasnt too busy at the time we went. We ordered queso and that took a long time to come out and was cold and very bland. My first time here and I wont be back.

My husband and I went out for Saint Patrick s day here. I know that s a little unorthodox, but everywhere else was busy and we both had long trips coming up and we re going to be separated for a bit (I also just wanted a margarita). Jared was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He was engaging in our conversations, engaging with the baby, and just overall such a sweet guy! On the way out, I saw someone who looked to be a manager, his name was Kyle. Kyle was also amazing. He let us know that he was new and held conversation with us as well, even as he was trying to lock up because it was closing. I ve worked and managed restaurants my whole career, so I know when people have good intentions, or are just saying they do. I truly believe that Kyle will be awesome for this place. My husband and I are still a bit new to the area, we only moved in October 2023, and only had come once before here (service was awesome as well, I cannot remember the woman s name for the life of me though ): ), and this will probably be our spot that we go to when we don t want to try something new or just need some comfort food. I literally had the beef tacos, so basic, yet so good?! Typing this, I m actually thinking of them right now and craving them. I love it here, and can t wait to come back when I m back home. Hopefully Jared is working, we will be requesting him

Hands down the best experience Ive had dinning out! Kyle (the manager) introduced himself upon arrival and thanked us for choosing Uncle Julios for my dads birthday dinner. Our table was ready pretty quickly and we were introduced to our waiter, Tom. We initially thought wed have 12 people in our party. Tom was happy to add another table when more than we had counted on said they were in their way. Tom was super attentive & honest about his take on drinks and food (which I love.) Time came to add 2 more tables Tom smiled and they were there in seconds. He didnt mind the large group and we NEVER felt forgotten, didnt have to wait on drink refills, or had a request he didnt meet within minutes. Seriously... do yourself a favor and see for yourself what great service is all about! Thank you Kyle and Tom... Ill definitely be back

My experience at Uncle Julio s was phenomenal. Starting from the warm welcome at the door until the salutation when exiting. The customer service was amazing, the waiter sought my every need, the cook followed up to make sure everything was to my liking, and the manager greeted my table with the upmost hospitality. I came here for lunch with my coworkers and the service was fast and efficient. No reservation was needed for a group of 10 people during lunch. I had a fajita steak bowl. First time at Don Julio s a few weeks ago with friends. I ordered ground beef tacos with a few margaritas. I personally wasn t too fond of the tacos. However, the price is reasonable. Food was trash. Its funny how Im at a Mexican restaurant but didnt see 1 Hispanic person eating there. The food was bland and tasteless. Scott or Kyle is the manager. He was nice. OUR FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE!!! We went in today on a Sunday afternoon. My mom, brother, sister and her husband with three kids sat down first , I got there about 10/15 minutes after them. When I arrived nobody greeted them at the table, no water, nothing. Finally after about 10 minutes of ME getting there someone came and greeted us. We at that point knew what we wanted from waiting for so long. She then finally asked for our drink orders but walked away and said shell be back for our orders. It took about 20 minutes to just get out drinks water and chips and salsa. THE WATER ALSO HAD TRASH IN IT. My husband ordered a margarita, never got there with our drinks, she said it wasnt pretty so they had to make it over but LATER tells us she forgot about it. After an hour and half wait for just the food we just decided to leave the restaurant. Everyone was getting their food before us, we had three small children waiting to eat and couldnt be any more patient.
