Prime rib and rainbow trout were excellent. Really fresh quality dinner salad. Margaritas, top notch. Very crowded mid week dinner spot. Be prepared for noise. I dont think folks with hearing aids would be thrilled because sound just bounces around. Food might make it worth it though!

Very good place. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and great food. Prime rib was great, as was the Orange Roughy. Great place for gumbo and etoufee as its not heavily salted and you can taste all the flavors. Great spot in Arlington

I was quite disappointed with my dining experience. The menu suggested a great meal, but what I received was something I could have gotten at Cheddars. I ordered the grilled shrimp and salmon. Despite the menus fancy description, the food was utterly ordinary. The rice was undercooked, the shrimp overcooked and flavorless, and the salmon, which was supposed to be glazed in honey, barely had a drizzle. It was just okay. I feel cheated, given that I spent over $50 for two entrees that I did not enjoy.

In 2024 you would think that the US has evolved enough to live amongst each other and RESPECT other races but coming to this place you see it has not. The hostess was VERY rude and unwelcoming. She had a sarcastic response when asked for service and even had the audacity to roll her eyes and continue conversation with other employees as if I was beneath her. The bar staff were no better with the exception of one guy who actually FINALLY asked me what I needed. I was sent on behalf of another company so I got to experience the unfair treatment by the staff and patrons. I sat down briefly but literally had a white woman to attempt to lift me out of the chair next to her. I would not recommend at all. The atmosphere is not diverse. It was white only minus the physical sign stating this.

Noce fancy place on our side of town. Prices reflect that. Very popular, so may be a wait. I think many come for the bar. Small menu never seems to change. So, we visit on a limited basis. Biggest down side is that despite high prices, they still want to nickel and dime you. Extra cheese, extra sauce? You are paying for it.

We dine here almost every single week. Some favorites- Salmon- 10/10 amazing Southern fried chicken- 10/10 amazing Grilled shrimp- 10/10 great Chargrilled chicken- 8/10 can be dry Salad- good and good value. Nightly specials are food. It would be nice if they rotated the days for the specials. Since we usually go in Friday- specials are the same. Cocktails are great and fairly priced. We haven t cared much for the burger, kabob is hit or miss with quality of meat. The menu could use an update. Entree salads, more appetizers and a few more sides would be nice. Overall a great spot and we will keep going - it can get pretty loud so we usually go early

We cant understand why people go there. The place is old, seating is stiff, and every time we go there they wont even accommodate us one table next to us when they arent busy. Why spend good money at a place that really doesnt care about the customer. We have heard good things about this place, we eat out every night, but here is the other side. Other places listen to the customer and are willing to satisfy minor requests. Whats the attraction? Limited menu. Its not worth it. Their competition is so much better and not too far away. Enjoy your meal wherever you are. Everything is expensive these days but the places that are just into themselves dont deserve to be in business!

This was my first time going here and it wont be my last. It was really good. My steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy. My husband had pork chops and he really enjoyed it. The mashed potatoes were some of the best Ive ever had as was the Mac & Cheese. The staff/service we encountered was great. I cant wait to go back.

This place is totally awesome. The southern fried boneless chicken is absolutely unbelievable, and the biscuits are probably the best I ve ever had. This restaurant also strikes a near-perfect balance of casual and somewhat elegant, making it very appropriate for any type of occasion. I wanna say they ve been in business for at least thirty years, which is virtually inconceivable for a restaurant and also pretty much sums up what a slam dunk it has been.

The last time we visited this restaurant was 27 years ago. It wants to go for the first time. A brand-new experience - again! My wife and I wanted a special place to celebrate our marriage of 32 years. To start with, we shared an Ahi Tuna Poke bowl. Oh My God that was shockingly delicious! Not a common appetizer. We didn t know what to expect. My wife ordered the Rainbow Trout. I ordered their famous Prime Rib. The smallest 8 ounces was all I could eat. Both entrees were superb. As good as it was 27 years ago. We asked if they had any dessert. None were on the menu. They only had Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream. That too was excellent. The service was the best we ve had for a local restaurant. We went home incredibly happy. For next year s anniversary, we re coming back.

Food was awful. Matter fact Ill be calling the location to let them know as well. The macaroni was watered down, crawfish bites were mushy, the prime rib sandwich was dry and the au jus had no taste at all and looked like watered beef broth from the box. The fries were hollow and the crab cakes tasted like the frozen crab cakes from Sams club Ive bought before. I was so disturbed because I spent $80 on two meals I could have gotten from the Krogers frozen food aisle. I cant believe this place is still in business. I will never in my life go to this place again even if this was the only place available to eat in the world. Now Im on the toilet, from this rubbish. Im curious were the good reviews came from.

Local place that s been around for a while. Really nice inside. Great waiting staff. The Cajun shrimp dish was very good. House salad was crisp, lettuce, vinaigrette, dressing, and chunks of blue cheese. Was good. The bread came out hot with soft butter. Hard to resist.

I had heard this place was good but had never tried it. I took my wife for a date night. The service was amazing! Kilah (unsure of the spelling) was very professional, kind, and did a great job! We ordered the wagyu burger medium well. They were out of the sweet potato fries so I told her the regular fries were fine. For a the fries to be the highlight of a $20 burger is just not good. The outside was charred black and tough while the inside was bloody. The old fashioned I ordered was okay but nothing spectacular. We probably wont return but perhaps it was an off night. The interior of the restaurant could use a facelift. It was outdated but clean.

A little too popular for its own good at times, but theres no denying why. Its exterior is a little unassuming in a generic multi-use building off of the highway (drove by it for years and never gave it much thought), but a walk inside and youll definitely pick up what many locals already knew; this bar/restaurant means business. The dark wood finish and gold/brass give it a nice old-school fancy charm, as do the spiffy uniforms of the bartenders and wait staff. Thankfully the outfits arent the only great thing about the staff, as almost everyone that spoke to us was very warm, friendly, and polite. We did have some trouble with our reservation, but that is most likely due to the biggest flaw of the place...its popularity. Walking into Macs at 7pm on a Friday looks like Fat Tuesday at Razoos...way more packed than you could have possibly imagined. Despite reservations, we were seated about 10 minutes late due to them simply not having a table for us. However, once we got the table, things went right back to great. Our server was quick on the drink orders, got us salad right away, and even gave us some time to enjoy it before getting entree orders (pro tip, if you think you might want the salad...GET the salad). I went with the grilled shrimp, and it they really mean grilled. The barbeque smoked flavor coming off of these was superb, and the flavor was even better. My wife cant get enough of the crawfish etouffee, its her fave dish. If youre in the area, youd be crazy not to try it...just plan for a bit of a wait.

My husband and I haven t been here in years- honestly probably in over 20 years- but we were so impressed. We loved the classic feel of the restaurant- the dark wood and ambient lighting. The menu options were great. Prices were perfect. We had the crab cakes and calamari- both fantastic, although neither were served with a lemon and both could have used a little acid- salad and bread were delicious, the blue cheese made the salad. We split a bottle of wine and decided to go with a prime rib and their red snapper etouffee- both dishes were fantastic. We finished with espresso martinis. Service was prompt and to the point. Made reservation online arrived on tine, they could not find our name on the system we had the printout of the reservation, however they found table for us, I ordered salmon blackened, start eating and it was slimy about less than halfway. I absolutely regret not photographing my dish but I had the salmon and it was the most divine delicious fish dish I ve had in a long time. I will definitely come back here for date nights and special occasions. The server was awesome and did his job well, making recommendations as I m sure he has been trained to do, and asked us a lot of questions to ensure that we were happy and accommodated. Parking: There are multiple spots to park and it is close to the restaurant, so you don t have to walk very far.

First time visit, host staff was friendly, brunch menu was full of enticing choices, of which my table went with the Eggs Hemingway & Cheeseburger. The Eggs Hemingway was delicious and the taters were wow..... So flavorful. The Cheeseburger was cooked just right and was seasoned to please the palate. Most people seem to like the place, but it wasn t for us. Very noisy and the food was average at best. The bartender seemed bothered that I came to the bar to order drinks; wouldn t have had to if someone would have waited on us in the bar area. Would we go back? Probably not.

Today I took a ride on the wild side and tried Macs Bar and Grill for the first time. Good God, im so over the top happy that I did. It was so darn good. Unfortunately I live an hour away from Macs, so I will more likely never get a chance to go again. If your in the area, Macs is a wonderful experience. I had the salmon and my friend had the chicken fried chicken. Both were excellent. Macs Bar & Grill definitely gets two thumbs up.

I ve lived in Mansfield about 18 months now and I ve eaten at Meehan s, The Vault, the Keg and now Mac s Grill for steak and I think I d place Mac s #1.. for various reasons, even though the only one I didn t care for was the Keg. The atmosphere is cool ( a tad loud), a little speak easy looking.. good service. Our server checked back often at first. Once the meal was under way he let us have our conversation, but didn t stray too far, so if we needed something, he was there. We liked that. Most importantly the food was great! The scallops appetizer was soooooo yummy! Our steaks were cooked very well and asparagus and fries were also cooked well. Mixed drinks were strong and good. Nice job! We ll be back to one of my new favorite restaurants in the area

4.5 out of 5. The service was reasonably quick. The burgers are delicious and I really enjoyed the fact that there are side options other than just French fries for no extra charge (for instance, I had wild rice). The veggies were very fresh and the burger patties were cooked perfectly. The prices were very reasonable as well. 0.5 taken off because I did not like the bread or buns. The burger buns were just a little bit soggy. There is no whole wheat option (I dislike white bread buns). The bread they bring out while you wait is fine but not anything special at all.

Chicken fried steak is tied with lucielles for the best Ive ever had. Service was great. Got the ice cream for dessert was a bit plain and weak flavored but the sauce was really good. Was a Wednesday and was already a bit loud so I cant imagine the weekends
