Corner Bakery Cafe in McAllen is a lovely place to enjoy delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. This cafe is known for its wide variety of menu options, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During my visit, I tried the Anaheim Scrambler for breakfast, which consisted of scrambled eggs with bacon, avocado, onion, and cheddar cheese, accompanied by baked potatoes and toast. The ingredients were fresh and the dish was well prepared. I also tried the cinnamon bread, which was delicious and perfectly baked. For lunch, I opted for the Chicken Pomodori Panini, a hot sandwich with chicken, provolone cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil on focaccia bread. The sandwich was full of flavor and the combination of ingredients was excellent. In addition, the coffee they serve is of high quality, ideal to accompany any meal. Like dining here but sometime they completely get the order incorrect!!! And thus causes delay in dining. Waiting on second sandwich and 2 chicken rosetta. The chicken Rosetta came out but still had to wait on second sandwich. Sandwich came and sent back after 20 minutes because it was not correct. Bread was not toasted. Maybe an off day?

My wife and I really enjoy the food here. It arrives quickly and there are plenty of options for breakfast or lunch. We particularly enjoy the Choose 2 menu option, usually getting pasta and a panini.

Terrible service when ordering, the employee on duty named Danielle G on June 21 at 7:20 june 21 did not want to speak in Spanish and did not make the effort to ask her colleague for help since we did not speak Spanish, and when they handed us over The order came from her colleague and she spoke to us in Spanish. I hope they can improve and not hire rude staff like her. Personally, I will not return to the establishment.

I wish I could give 5 stars, but I believe that constructive criticism is necessary for modern businesses, especially in the restaurant and food service industry. While I wasn t particularly impressed with the food overall, it was good, and others may have different experiences. The BLT sandwich was excellent in my opinion, with a good portion and a generous amount of bacon. However, the Caramel Macchiato was disappointing essentially just milk with a lot of caramel and whipped cream. I will come back and try other items because the place deserves a second chance. However, please put a little more effort into the coffee; many people will appreciate it.

There is so much positive things to say about this location, first I placed my order over the phone the cashier was very sweet and made sure to repeat my order. Upon arrival the restaurant was super clean and smelled like cookies. Which I loved!!! The supervisor on duty and cashier made me feel right at home. My order was made exactly the way I wanted. It was such a pleasant experience I will never forget. I will continue to return not only for the great food but for the wonderful amazing customer service experience.

The food is not the best, it looks very simple, at least the scrambled egg dishes leave a lot to be desired. The pancakes are excellent, there are no complaints about those. The regular coffee is not bad but it is not the best either and I got the fresh one. The menu is not at hand, which does not give you time to choose while waiting in line (you have to pay first). On the wall there was only the pasta menu, for breakfast you had to take a menu already at the checkout which puts some pressure on you because of the line if you are new to the place.

Its my first time visiting and I was in a rush so I decided to order ahead, but the wait time said 25 minutes. I decide to get off since it should be faster, and to my surprise it took 30 minutes or more to get one small coffee. This coffee was not even full, it was like 2/3 coffee and 1/3 foam. Did not taste like anything even though it was a seasonal brown sugar. Everyones orders after me where quick but mine, a single coffee, should not take more than 10 minutes in my opinion to brew. Sadly my first and last time here.

We just got the worse service today. We asked for a the manager. Who knows if that was the manager we talked to but he had the worse attitude for being a manager. Instead of working everything out, he just flat out and said, if you want a refund! Seriously? After 40 minutes of waiting for pancakes order! Seriously and that is how you work things out! Our orders came shortly after talking to the supposed to be manager and it was wrong flavored pancakes! Like seriously! Waited for that long and orders was all wrong. And the freaking manager to ask if you want, we can bring you the blueberry pancakes! Why even ask, we obviously paid for the blueberry and not the buttercream one. Just incase you didn t know, if you re the manager, they re not priced the same!

Terrible experience at this location. Went in with family exactly 30 min before closing and I along with one other guest in line was told by cashier that we could only order to go and not dine in because they were getting ready to close. I asked what time they closed and he stated in 30 min. I was going to ask to speak to manager but asked myself would that really solve the problem and do I really want to eat at place where customers are treated this way. I also thought if allowed to order what would my food quality be from a place where the staff apparently wanted to close as soon as possible. So my family and I left and went next door to Chipotle where we were given excellent service regardless of the time. I will not be eating at Corner Bakery again. If I could give zero stars I would.

The service was excellent- 5 stars! Everyone very helpful and nice. The food was ok. I had scrambled eggs with toast and fruit. I was surprised by the small eggs portion (compared to other places) but I guess is enough. The fruit was fresh. I had also a croissant and it was good, I would buy it again. Café Latte with Oatmilk was good too but I am not a coffee drinker so I could not compare. It seemed empty for a Sunday 11am but people came and go so there were always tables available. The tables were stiky but it did not feel like a dirty place.
