Came here pretty late at around 11pm and they were still kind to accept us in even though kitchen closes in approximately 30 minutes. We had an amazing appetizer called Pastorcitos. It was so delicious and both my husband and son had carnitas and fajita tacos. One of the best salsa we had. We would love to come back again when we are in Dallas.

I judge Mexican restaurants on their rice and beans, then by the salsa. They are on point in all three. Their carnitas tacos are the best around. I usually am there for lunch and get the Mr. Marks plate on the lunch menu. Its a cheese enchilada and a tamale. Get a carnitas taco on the side. I rarely give a 5 star review, but it is well deserved here.

While it has good ambiance and service, the food is subpar in my opinion. It wasnt awful, but it also wasnt memorable. The caldo looked good, tho. Perhaps I should have ordered that. I had the milanesa torta. However, I hear from the party I went with that the drinks are good and if you are into sports they have a big screen to watch games.

I love the food here, I regularly get the Sapo chicken plate & my husband likes the tostadas from here, his favorite. I have tried other dishes that are yummy too. They also have good cocktails & traditional virgin drinks too. The wait depends on how much staff to customers there s but it is worth the wait. When you see a bunch of hispanic customers & staff, it is always a good sign that you ll get traditional good food, not Americanized Mexican food. The staff, does know English (or enough) & can take care of your needs. We pick this food over PaPasitos and other over priced food establishments because the food speaks for itself & it s also reasonably priced. The decor is cute but I wouldn t say it is a great Insta place unless you are a food capturer to make others drool, their heart goes in to their food & drinks. I like that they have a billiards hall & bar next door, if we wanted to we can just go right next door for a good time and keep our drinks coming. :) It s not hard to find parking normally, probably because it is kind of a hidden treasure.

My family and I went to eat at this restaurant and the service was horrible. The waitress took our order and never came back. Another waitress came to ask if we were ok after a while of us looking for our waitress and towards the kitchen. I asked her to please check on our order and she assured me she would and proceeded to take an additional 15 minutes to get back. We had to wait for our food for around 50 minutes. I dont recommend this restaurant if you or your family is really hungry.

I was pleasantly surprised with my first time at Las Ranitas. My husband and I just randomly picked a Mexican restaurant to try and this was it. First, the glasses and silverware are heavy duty. They feel like something youd have in your home rather than the cheap stuff a lot of restaurant use. The chips and salsa were great. The salsa was especially tasty. I ordered beef enchiladas and my husband had the steak quesadillas. The beef had a char on it that was perfect for adding flavor. Our rice and the cheese they used were great. Our waitress was funny and friendly. I dont have a single complaint. Portion size and price were worth it. If Im ever back in Texas, Ill be sure to stop back in! Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall with lots of available parking. No parking worries.

The one star is for the only thing that looked good . The food fluctuates. Some days, I go its really good other days, not so much. In the past couple of weeks, I have ordered lunch and a late dinner. Both times I ordered flautas. The lunch order was excellent. The late dinner order was a waste of money. With the dinner I ordered queso, it tasted like cheese whiz served in a Styrofoam coffee cup . On top of that, the prices online were like $6 less than what I was charged in store. Needless to say, I was very disappointed to spend almost $20 on 3 flautas and not so appetizing queso. This is the 2nd time this has happened, so Im not sure if Ill give them a 3rd. I will say when its good, I do enjoy it, but as prices continue to rise, I expect the same quality all the time.

Good evening google public people. Today we went to eat here at Las Ranitas Arlington. We arrived at closing time. Everything was fine until THE food arrived. MY Friend ordered a beef enchilada plate, and I ordered a large fish and shrimp broth. When it arrived it was pure vegetables and just 4 baby shrimp and a piece of fish bones. I know that the prices have increased on all the products... but if I am paying 16 dollars for a vegetable broth, do it with pride. Because I never waste food but I left almost all the broth...

This place is great! Fresh food, good service and good prices! I ordered the tostadas with Fajatia beef. It is a special on Tuesdays and would highly recommend. Even though I ate there on Thursday... We ordered large queso for an appetizer, then I decided on the Chavas which is a cheese enchilada, crispy taco, beans and rice. I asked for chili sauce on my enchilada. Everything was very tasty. Their chips and salsa also tasted good: most of the chips were warm, thin, and crispy; the salsa tasted fresh with a decent hint of heat. Others ordered the nachos with meat, beans, pico, cheese, and sour cream (on the side). We liked that they are created on each chip rather than toppings piled on a bunch of chips. The chips were slightly thicker to accommodate the toppings. Their fajita enchiladas are delicious and their tacos are stuffed with good meat, cheese, pico, and lettuce. Be warned! The ground meat is spicy! - But delicious.

This is an authentic Tex-Mexican Restaurant that is open late. Maria was our wonderful waitress/ bartender on 11/30/21 at closing really the last table... Her service was a blessing. After a fun night of Roller Skating, we both enjoyed her very tasty Margaritas. The table side guacamole/ yellow queso were fresh. The fajitas steak Nachos are my husbands Must Order Again Entrée!!! A great friend said You always can judge a great Mexican restaurant by 2 things. 1.Did you receive a water with an amazing homemade salsa? Yes!!!!!! 2.Were the enchiladas the best your every tasted?
