We had a great time at Al-Amir and the food was really good with good portions. We had the mixed kabob (3 meats) and the lamb kabob. They nicely substituted a side salad for me since I cant eat rice. The food was so good we decided to order dessert--baklava and cheesecake drizzled with chocolate (mmm!). My hubby loved the Lebanese house red wine. Hamza(?) was super friendly and attentive. He and our lovely waitress helped make our dinner even more enjoyable. We ate at 7:15 p.m. and it wasnt crowded, but apparently it becomes more of a club atmosphere starting at 8 p.m., so youll need to make reservations. I have been here twice in the past year, including once in July 2024. The vibes and service on a weekend night are good. The drinks are great. The atmosphere is nice aside from the acoustics, i.e. the music is deafening and makes it hard to talk without speaking loudly or near someones face. On my July 2024 visit, there was an entertainer in a tall alien/techno suit that danced around the floor and interacted with the customers. That was cool. The food menu is Lebanese, yet some nights the music is mostly Spanish (North & South American). While some music videos were entertaining and some tunes were catchy, I recommend that people planning a trip here find out who will be the DJ if seeking a certain genre or language of music. I didnt mind. I wouldnt mind returning if invited by a group of people I hang out with.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES ... I went on 5 occasions thinking that I had to give another and another chance to the place, but no ... FIRST ... you have to have a lot careful with the waitresses and bartenders when you close your check because They keep your change without asking you,or they also charge extra for the tip on your card and they are not 5 or 10 dollars ... noooo , to a friend, it was 80 dollars !!!. It seems that none of the owners of the place care about the fraud that employees do. SECOND ... the floor is wet with papers around it, nobody cleans, sweeps or dries the place. THIRD ... the second floor dance is exaggeratedly small, and the remodeling was not favorable at all. So ..... ZERO RECOMMENDATION FOR THIS PLACE.

I really enjoy coming to this place we always throw our birthdays parties there or just a fun night out there is a good mix of people they do have a dress code that is strictly enforced so make sure you are dressed appropriately because you will not get in if you aren t no shorts no athletic pants ball caps or T shirts. jeans and a nice shirt is fine with a nice pair of shoes. and there is something for everybody from a hooka lounge on there well spaced patio that also has a bar they offer reasonably priced bottle service it s clean very well decorated they have 2,dance floors where on one they play music for the younger crowd which is reggeton and reparto on the other side they play music for the older crowd or for people enjoy bachata salsa and merengue I also love that they have excellent security the club tends to get packed but I have Never seen a fight break out there inside or outside the club which is rare in a place that gets so crowded in all of the years that I have gone. So safety is not an issue and they care about there customers if someone is too drunk to drive they will put them in a Lyft or an Uber if the person doesn t have anyone with them or is unable to come get them. Which I also love because now days a lot of places could care less. The staff is super friendly everyone from the valets to the security bar tenders DJs and waitresses the manager is also an awesome guy he s great at what he does he is always willing to accommodate you weather it be a problem with your bill to no toilet paper in the bathroom. He provides excellent customer service super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a date night weather you want to grab dinner and drinks or just a fun night out with friends.

My experience at Al Amir Arlington left much to be desired. Initially planning to visit the Addison location, my group settled for Arlington due to its proximity to our hotel. Anticipating a vibrant atmosphere akin to Addison, we were surprised to find the establishment primarily catering to a Latino clientele. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to learn that indoor hookah usage was prohibited due to county regulations. Despite arriving on a rainy Saturday night, the outdoor heater malfunctioned, making the experience uncomfortable. The only option provided was vape hookah indoors, with traditional coal hookahs restricted to the outdoors. Adding to the disappointment was the absence of the Bollywood night, a feature we had hoped to enjoy based on our experiences at the Addison location. Furthermore, the cover fee for men, especially after 10 pm, felt excessive, particularly considering the lackluster ambiance and service. While we appreciated the gesture of receiving our hookah complimentary due to the subpar outdoor conditions, it did little to salvage the overall experience. Additionally, the unexpected $10 valet parking fee further soured our impression of the establishment. In hindsight, contacting the Arlington location beforehand may have spared us the disappointment. Moving forward, its clear that Al Amir Arlington falls short of delivering the lively atmosphere and amenities advertised, leaving much to be desired for those seeking an enjoyable evening out in Dallas.

I love coming to this place! Always great vibes and great music! Last Saturday I decided to go with 2 of my friends and get a table to sit and do hookah. Once we were ready to leave the table we asked for our check and noticed that a 20% tip was added which is not a big deal but we read the receipt and it said for a party 5 or more.. so I m just confused why they charged us the 20% if we only had 3 in our party. Like I said it s not a big deal since we would ve left a tip like that anyways but I think you should just give us a heads up or change the amount of people in the party.

First time here to celebrate my birthday with my family who lives out of town. We were very curious, then a little skeptical, I must say, the atmosphere, was so comfortable and inviting it wasnt until they were closing that we realized it had been hours as to say we felt right at home. Good music! Great food! Good drinks! Hamza the manager was super nice; great hospitality!!! And our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable answering any question we had, shes the cute blonde with the cutest accent, Thresdria I want to say. Forgive me if Im wrong. Awesome place to hang out, dance, or celebrate a birthday. For older folks like myself (40s) Friday night is best. There are two sides. One side plays salsa bachata merengue and the other side plays more reggaeton, cumbia, little bit of hip hop. Friday night the salsa mix is on the bigger side. Saturday nights, it s on the smaller dance floor and the larger dance floor is overflowing with younger college age people. Its basically two clubs in one place and you can switch back and forth between them if youd like. The food is so good and their kitchen stays open all night. Weve gone for dinner (6-8pm) and were literally the only ones there. But they treat us nice, the food is always delicious whether its at 6 pm or 12 am.

Ended up at this location by mistake, we intended to go to the one in Addison to enjoy the Bollywood belly damcers. We were not disappointed, we had an amazing time. Did the salsa class and stayed for the dancing. The only con I have is that the flyer states the class starts at 8:30 but the instructors arrived a little after 9. We were already done with dinner by 8:30 so just hung around. Thankfully they put some music on for us while we waited. Dinner qnd portions were on point. Highly recommend and well definitely be back. Oh, and they not only have salsa, bachata and merengue, they also have reggaeton on the other side of the restaurant. Awesome vibe! Tonight I decided to celebrate my birthday in this place with some friends and family who are on vacation here from PR. I liked this place because of the variety of music there is and because previously I NEVER had a situation, much less feel uncomfortable. I chose the place over others that my friends suggested to me, such as Medusa, because I wanted something more informal and as I said before I had felt super comfortable on other occasions. I ask for a ride to get there, and without having gotten out of the vehicle, the security guy who has a shaved head who was on the stairs at the exit tells my companion that he cant enter because he was wearing a cap, my companion leaves. He takes off his cap and then goes to the valet parking lot, indicating that my companion cannot enter through Jersey. Before arriving at the place we called to corroborate certain information, no one informed us that there was a dress code today, apart from judging by the reasons that this person denied us entry we could see in the 20 minutes that we were standing waiting by Lyft countless people in shorts, with caps, flip flops and with a fairly informal dress code. I inform the parking valet that I am coming from afar that a transportation was paid for that was coming to celebrate my birthday and he tells me that he is going to go talk to him again. When I left he told me that the answer was no, another valet parked at my request, when I returned the answer was no. Honestly, as customers we went to consume and eat, as a customer I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE we felt discriminated against after seeing the endless number of people who were dressed super casually. WE NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT DRESS CODE HE WAS REFERRING TO, could it be that the dress code in that place is selective? That if not that one .BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

The best place for Bachata, Cumbia, and Salsa dancing that Ive found in DFW. The food is really good and the hookas are lovely too! Parking: There is vallet parking and a free parking lot behind Al-Amir

Terrible drinks, charged my girl and I a 20% tip when there wasn t even five of us!?!? It was just two people!! Who charges water five bucks???!!!! Terrible place and do not recommend to anyone unless you are just desperate!

I felt that this Saturday was not good without the entertainer from Puerto Rico wuaoo he is the best and good at what he does but what a shame he told me that there is someone who. wants to see him outside. a message to the owner leave him there he is the best if he leaves. it wouldnt be the same and many people go for him how the party turns on he makes all my people jump help the bory tell the owner to bring him back again.
