Fantastic walking, running, biking, and general leisure strolling around trail! It has a nice double wide paved lane to walk on and you have beautiful trees surrounding you on both sides. I really enjoy getting some sun out there walking my fur babies with my old man and hearing the birds chirp in the backdrop. Very safe trail, lots of people on it everyday and always friendly. You might spot me on it, Im walking it everyday. Keep a look out for a dude in a Jiu Jitsu shirt :p I recommend you try it out! Dog-friendliness: They have doggie bags for when your furry friend has to go on the trail. (Do people really use those?)

I used to frequent this trail a lot when I lived next to it and it was quite nice. This past weekend, I went after several years with a friend because it was a midway point between us. I was very disappointed to see so much trash in the brush and the area to be not very well maintained. There were also two stray dogs roaming and looking for food through the trash. I wish people would take better care of our public spaces and keep them beautiful. It s about having a bit of respect for yourself and others. Other than the trash and the dogs (yes, we called animal services so they could be taken care of) it was a nice and flat concrete trail. A great alternative when the dirt trails are wet after rainfall. Parking: The GPS takes you to the entrance next to the pharmacy.

I do absolutely love this trail for cycling. Bonus points that all the dog walkers keep their dogs on leash and THANK YOU to those who do that, I truly appreciate it. This park loses a star for the absolute MESS under the bridges after recent rain that wasnt that severe. Mud so thick it will swallow your shoe and your bike tires should you decide to traverse it, I did not because the smell was toxic and whatever was in that mud, Im not taking it home with me. Filthy and inadequate drainage and now that the autumn looks to be wet I have to find another place to ride so be aware. You can have a good experience from Cravens park trailhead to a bit past the entrance for the dog park on Green Oaks so I rode back and forth on that.

The dogs love this place and so do we. Miles of pave trail and a big dog park to stop at and play a while. The sides of the trails are mowed, there are numerous trash cans, and poop bags along the way keep it tidy. Dog-friendliness: Great for dogs

Had a church picnic here and it was good. The grills are rusted through so bring your own if you plan on cooking. The drinking fountain also shoots out like a rocket.

Two pitbulls off leash. Large gray and spotted white. Large gray started running toward me. I started activating my taser noise he slowed down within 50 yards before I got his owners attention. Had to call the police and everything. Owner cursed me, gave me the finger, angry individual. It took several commands before the dog returned to him.

This trail is right behind my house ... Been bike riding recently . Lots of trash in the creek and some parts of the trail are kind of dangerous with leaves and standing water in some places creating slippery surfaces for bicycles and runners. Overall i recommend this trail .

Well, I started in Cravens Park and ended up walking through Fish Creek. I absolutely LOVE Fish Creek Linear Park! It was calm, clean, and there was more wildlife than people! Thank goodness. I heard squeaks in the trees from what I assume were bats, saw a few fireflies (my favorite) and there were also tons of froggies! Little cuties. I think I mightve heard a small fox as well. The Creek itself sounds so relaxing & soothing! If you havent already you should definitely check this place out! Very creepy vibes at night too. I LOVE IT!

Brisk walk in the rain this morning!!! This is a family friendly place to walk. People had their bikes out, kids and pets Unfortunately, there was some who didnt pick up after their pets, but this walking trail has the doggie poop bags at every 1/4 mile marker!

The trails are not a great place to bike, walk or skate during the summer unless its done early during the day or when the Sun is going down. Its all open area with no shade and It got very hot very quickly. Im not sure about the Park area, we didnt make it that far. There was also dog poop all on the concrete trail.

There are not many places to bike in Arlington Texas. This is not a bike friendly town at all. You can take the risk of biking on the streets but your days will be numbered. I bike on the Fishcreek Linear Park Trail for my safety. This trail is difficult to ride on due to the high volume of pedestrian traffic and unsupervised toddlers with their parents which often brings you to a complete stop to avoid a collision. Most pedestrians know how to share the trail but there are always a few who dont have a clue. Its common sense! Keep to the right when you are on the trail. Pedestrians need to be more courteous when sharing the trail and be aware of the cyclists. I have also been seeing more motorized vehicles such as dirt bikes and mini bikes on the trails lately. Shameful amounts of trash in creek area. Despite these issues I AM thankful for the Fishcreek trail. Without this trail there would be no safe place to bike in South Arlington.
