Absolutely PHENOMENAL place to eat! We came here looking to try a good new place, and Salaama 110% delivered! The owners were very friendly and the Goat with Rice meal was incredible! Along with that, this restaurant offers the best cup of tea in the city of Arlington. Cannot miss it!!

It was our first time here and first time eating Somalian food! The food is savory on its own but they give you two sauces; one sweet and one spicy. I mixed them both and made my food sweet, spicy, and savory! IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! On top of that, the people who work there are SO KIND! Leban was there tonight and he was so friendly, we felt at home there!! We will definitely all be coming back!!! Parking: Easy parking!

I wanted to try the goat meat on the menu, but was told it was out along with all other things except salmon and chicken legs. I chose the chicken limbs. They were just ok, albeit rather oversalted. Nothing I would order again. The service was inattentive. When the food came, there were no forks. A regular guest had to arise and get me a fork and napkin, embarrassed ed for them. I ordered tea to be served beforehand but it came only after the meal was ended. The lack of attention cannot be excused as a speech barrier as I spoke Somali. The restaurant was very unclean and run down. This could be excused when the food is good but since the food isnt, it l can t be. I will not return again.

Ordered spaghetti with chicken. Very simple dish but SO delicious! I have no idea of the seasoning on the chicken but I could have eaten more. The spaghetti had jalapeños which provided a nice amount of spiciness to the meal :-) They were out of goat so be aware that you might have to come way before evening to order certain dishes. The gentlemen at the restaurant were very kind. Overall, I enjoyed my somali food experience!

My first time being here and already you can smell the aroma from the door. My sister got us dinner from there and I really wanted to go for more. The place is not all that fancy but the food is just everything . They serve some really soft meats and the rice is to die for with a very good serving plus its very affordable. They got some good tea also if you are a lover for tea. I would go back anytime and I recommend it to anyone.

Truck drivers beware dont park your trucks in the facility the police be giving out tickets for over 500. I recommend parking at the other facility behind the Valero and even there its still risky.

Great food and nice people. I took my 11-year- old and my 10-year-old girls to that place. We ordered some goat and chicken, and trust me, my kids dont even like rice and foreign food like that. But guess what? We all enjoyed the food; it was so delicious. Ill definitely come back for some more goat and chicken.

I went with a friend. My first time there. My first time eating East Africa food. We ordered take out. It seems that this is a hang out & socializing spot for East African men. They were playing dominoes. There was a female in the kitchen preparing the meals. On the other hand...the food was delicious. Salmon on a bed of aromatic rice. Maybe Jasmine rice.
