In 2013, Ernest E. Karam took a case for us. He did it professionally. The staff that works for him are very professional, efficient and friendly. Sometimes there are people who want lawyers to secure the case for them? And they do not understand that they represent the laws and present them to the highest authorities of the court, the judges, and they are the ones who give the final verdict where the boy or girl will be safe and in a responsible, clean and responsible home. sure.

Crooked lawyer.....the other side feeds him supper at his house.... takes everyones money.....He also dosent follow up on the other sides facts and evidence.....Dont use him.....I hope some day to see his licence taken away...He has no integrity...No Honesty...No Truth he will lie to your face and Smile while he steals your money!! His Staff is rude and no professional bone in their Body!!

Ernest is among one of the best mediators in San Antonio. His record at getting cases resolved is outstanding. That coupled with a warm and friendly office setting which beckons to a bygone era makes it an additionally enjoyable experience mediating with him.

Ernest made what could have been a long stressful process very enjoyable. The environment he created while working together can be described as calm, professional, and comfortable. Hes fair in his work and listens to what you have to say. He helped me with my case and I cant thank him enough for helping. I highly recommend him and if hes been assigned to your case have no worries.

Ernest Karam was the third mediator Ive experienced in family law and after my experience yesterday, I realize I took the other two for granted. My brother is going through a terrible divorce and the last thing he needed was his mediators derision and condescension. I thought Mr Karam was dismissive and disrespectful - and even told him that. He didnt see fit to change, even when my brother expressed a similar sentiment. At every point, he seemed to be a barrier to communication, not a facilitator. I did not get the impression that he took the time to understand the situation - instead choosing to oversimplify, judge, and manipulate. It was as if we were entering boot camp and he was going to strike a deal by beating us down so we would accept whatever. He even laughed at my brothers business being in the red and called anyone who would do that an idiot. Another time, after dismissing the ledger we had prepared, he quickly created one with a marker that showed my brothers side adding up to more than the other - and then proceeded to deride us for those numbers not being equal. He waved the paper in our face in an agitated fashion and asked repeatedly if the numbers were the same. And yet, the final offer he left on the table as we exited resulted in the numbers being even FURTHER apart. If only I had that piece of paper so I could ask him the same thing he asked us! I would NEVER again trust Mr Karam with anything important or precious to me or anyone I care about.

Used Ernest as our mediator for a difficult child custody dispute. He was able to help us reach an agreement we were all happy with and avoid further litigation. I would definitely recommend him!

He is very unprofessional. I never thought mediation would entail the mediator walking in after listening to the other side beginning by yelling at me and accusing me of not providing discovery. I should have walked out when he resided in same building with exs lawyer. Ethically, this should have never happened.

I went into mediation with an expectation of a 5% chance of coming to a resolution. After a full day with Ernest going after hours we were able to come up with a solution that avoided court, additional costs, and resolved the situation to the satisfaction of all parties concerned. I could not recommend Ernest more highly. After our first meeting, he seems like a friend. He is incredibly talented in mediation and I believe he worked fairly for both sides to come up with a unique resolution that we would never have achieved in court. Ernest is the absolute best. Everyone in the court system said that if he cant resolve the issue, nobody can...
