First of all everyone who worked there we encountered was super nice including the I assume owner. He personally thanked us for coming out. Last night was our first night there and it was amazing. We chose to take our own lawn chairs and it was a great decision. Bye Hollywood was an awesome local band. The music was awesome. Eagles tribute band from California was awesome. The sand was like being at the beach. I kicked off my shoes and jammed out to wonderful music and had a few beers. I highly recommend trying their burgers. I had a bun less burger and the pot it in a nice container with a fork and knife without even asking me. That there was thoughtful. Their merchandise was reasonable and the loaned us koozies for our beer. We definitely will be heading back. Dietary restrictions: Keto so I had a bun less burger. It was great. Kid-friendliness: You can bring the entire family.

This place is a fun place for friends and family, food is good. Wear sandals cause all there is sand. The owner is a really nice guy. NOW, when I was there last (8/24/24), Beer was way overpriced. The only option to sit there is old fold out chairs and warped picnic benches, so bring your own fold out chair if you can. Hopefully, this changes from when you read this, and lastly, I would rather have pissed in a garbage truck in 105 degrees. Sorry, that would be about the same as the bathrooms there.

Amazing food and they always welcome you like a missing friend. Be sure to check out their concerts, Karaoke on the ONLY beach in Amarillo. Parking: Parking on the side if the restaurant and rear, plenty of spots especially during concerts.

We had an awesome turnout. The owner was handy and gave updates as the weather worsened,then got better. The band did not go on but the singers came to the building where we waited out the rain and sang anyways. Our party had a great time enjoying the atmosphere and the company. The food was off the charts, if you go definitely get the burger. The fries are hand cut and made to order. The cherry limeade was the best in town!! Parking: It is dirt parking, but there is plenty of parking to go eat and to come to the venue and listen to the band. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. It is a family friendly venue.

Shark Beach is a an awesome place to go spend a summer evening. Tons of sand and volleyball nets to occupy the kids, great drinks and live music to please the adults. The food is great and beach vibe really makes for a fun and relaxing atmosphere. I have been twice now, and both times I have had the pleasure of speaking with the owner. Very nice guy that goes around ensuring his guests are happy and having a great time. Whether you re looking for a fun place to have some drinks and hang out with friends, or some quality time with the family, this is definitely the place to go! Great place. Good music, good food. Only complaint I have was the opening band played for 2.5 hours before the main band came on. Not that I mind to much but the songs were all over the place too. If Im there for some classic rock lets keep the tone at least. Minor complaint though. I will definitely be going back throughout the summer.

We left Palo Duro Canyon after a day of hiking and were starving. Yelp guided us here and holy moly what a place. I don t think I ve ever had a burger so well seasoned. I could have got it plain and dry and it still would have been amazing. The staff is so nice too. Definitely recommend.

We are from out of town and were driving through Amarillo. We wanted a burger, so we looked online for a highly rated burger spot and found Shark Beach. We are glad we made the detour from the interstate. The burgers were the best we have had in a long time. The customer service was top-notch as well. First time here, got to meet the owner! He was very friendly and glad to talk to us. Burgers were PERFECTLY cooked, I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was so juicy and tender, the cheese just melted in my mouth. The fries were nice and hot, and had just the right amount of salt. The drink I received was large so I had plenty to drink! Little to none wait time (was a weekday) but a delicious meal nonetheless. Atmosphere is very beautiful, makes you feel like you re at the beach! They have events on the weekend for cover bands like AC/DC or Brooks and Dunn!

While this area of Texas has no shortage of great restaurants, our family absolutely has to make a stop to Shark Beach every time we visit from South Carolina. The food is amazing and the kids always have a blast with the beach theme. We take lots of pictures while making lasting memories! The owner and staff treat you so well and make you feel right at home. Being at a restaurant where the owner comes out to make sure you are having a good experience means a lot. We bought some Shark Beach swag and will proudly represent back home in SC! If you want great food, family fun, and a relaxing atmosphere this is the place to visit. Honestly I think EVERYONE need to go once in their life. I love local spots like this! The food was tasty, the service was friendly and it was a nice day to sit on the patio. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, crisp and not rubbery. Yum! If you havent been, go check it out!

Was overcharged on my card. Wont go back with a card ever again. Handicap parking was an issue with my elderly mother. Parking: The handicap parking needs to be closer to the building and more space in my opinion. My mother had issues walking that far on the uneven surface provided.

Not sure why everyone overhypes this place. Burger is mediocre and expensive. I decided to try it out finally and was extremely disappointed. Burger patty was dry, overcooked, and uneven. Fries were okay. Paid $16, not even up to fast food quality. I recommend going to any other burger place in town.

We stopped on our way thru not knowing what to expect. Super cute setup, we love the beach. You could smell the greasy goodness getting out of the car. Burger, cheese curds, tater tots, all awesome. My daughter inhaled her grilled cheese and son loved the chicken bites w shark sauce. Cashier was super sweet and management was very kind as well. Wish it wasnt 26° outside so we could have enjoyed the atmosphere longer.
