On our travels through Amarillo, we had the chance to visit Schlotzky s, which I ve craved since previously living in the Atlanta area. The original deluxe was as tasty as remembered. The limited crew worked as quickly as possible to keep the customers orders taken and served. They seemed dedicated and took pride in serving you promptly.

I ordered a chicken calzone last week and it was awesome. I order again and literally get to work to see 2 pieces of chicken sandwich meat on it with a little cheese. It s just bread. How do you have that kind of inconsistency? I just can t recommend this place and will not be back. A complete waste of money and total disappointment.

My girlfriend and I really love Schlotzskys. Unfortunately, I cant currently recommend this location. Over the past 6 months at least half of our orders have been messed up. Usually its related to them making a sandwich completely wrong or using an inadequate amount of ingredients. Every time it seems like the sandwiches are more thrown together than sandwiches Ive gotten from other Schlotzskys locations. One of my favorite sandwiches is the Turkey Original; unfortunately, Ive never gotten a Turkey Original from this location with the correct amount of black olives (unless I went back and asked them to fix it - in which case they did so very politely). This time was obviously no exception (see attached photo). In addition, my girlfriend and I both ordered the pick two deal - and its obvious that instead of using the jalapeno cheddar bread that they were supposed to use on her sandwich - they just used the other half of my sourdough bun. Normally when I have an issue with a restaurant I like to go to the restaurant first to give them a chance to make it right. Ive already done so at least twice with this particular location. At this point Im convinced that they either dont care to train their staff properly or are intentionally shorting their customers to save money. Either way its unacceptable and not worth the money they are charging. Whether youre a long time Schlotzskys fan, or a newcomer, I would certainly recommend going to a different location for your meal.

I recently visited the restaurant on Bell St, Amarillo, TX, where I ordered two pizzas. Given the price, I expected a high-quality product. However, the pizzas were not made with sourdough bread, and when I opened the box, I found all the toppings at the bottom. It seemed as though the toppings were added after the pizza was cooked, which resulted in a disappointing experience. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, but she seemed indifferent to my concerns. When I asked for a solution, her response was rather dismissive, asking if I wanted her to remake the pizza or not. I suggested that the staff should be trained better in making pizzas to avoid such issues in the future. Unfortunately, this was my first experience at this particular location, and I do not plan on returning. Instead, I will continue to patronize the restaurant on Kentucky Street, as they consistently provide excellent pizzas. I hope the Bell Street location can learn from their counterparts and improve their pizza-making skills.

I have never seen such rude, lazy inconsiderate workers. These people had no customers. Except for two tables that were sat down already eating their food. And they wanted me, as a delivery driver that I explained was currently making minimum wage to fill the drink. They told me it was not their job and they dont care if the customer gets the drink. How does someone work in a customer service environment like that? Meanwhile they were trying to sell me on a job there. Why would I want to work in such a horrible work environment? Listen, you should have just filled the drink. Your customer ordered a drink. It is your job to prepare the order. I explained it is illegal for me to do it. I also explained I dont mind doing it as a courtesy when yall are busy. But yet you wanted to take it this far. Monday, Im getting back on the phone with the health code enforcement and I am going to start filing complaints until something is done with these lazy stores forcing the delivery drivers to break the law because they are too busy playing on their phones. I swear, this will change. Yall did this to the wrong person.

I am a big fan of Schlotzskys. They have great food and it is usually fresh tasting. I have eaten at this location multiple times. They may be a little more than other sandwich shops, but you get what you pay for. Great bread along with generous portions, including meat, with choices that can please most. They dont have a drive-thru or curbside. Dont let that stop you. If you order ahead on their app the food will be waiting. If not, they make the food while you wait for freshness

We bought some cinnabons to bring home we warmed them up and discovered that they were old ,very dry and kind of hard I brought them back the very next morning and was told too bad by the manager because they are made fresh every day I told her that I didnt want my money back just to replace them I brought 9 that we hadnt touched and the 3 that we tasted just so she could see them and she wouldnt even open them to see them I was told too bad I they had already gone out the door, I think maybe it could be a racial issue since I am Hispanic Please Dont Go To This Establishment ESPECIALLY IF YOURE OF HISPANIC DISSENT

$130 for 3 salads!! STAY AWAY! Worst costumer service. Especially Jackie. We are in the middle of a cross country move. We stopped near this location and accidentally ordered for pick up. I immediately called the store, admitted my mistake and requested to change the order to a delivery. I was told by Jackie to call the 1 800 number and there was nothing that they could do. Then Jackie suggested that we cancel the order and then reorder under delivery. I agreed. When the food arrived we only received half our order. I called back to request the rest of the order, Jackie answered.I was then told the reason the order was messed up was because I made 2 orders, which was what they originally told me to do. She then continued to ask if i was sure i only received 1/2 my order. Yes I am sure. They said they would remake the missing food, but we never received it. The door dasher said she would go back to deliver the missing food and she never did. We finally drove to them, only to be told by Jackie that they were closing and we needed to come back tomorrow. When we asked where our food was we were told a worker took it home. The first order was never canceled and ultimately we ended up paying $130 for 3 salads. STAY AWAY!

Ive been here two or three times. The food is good but typical fast food type food oh, nothing super-special. I do like the buy one get one free oh, I think its Tuesday on Pizza. I bought two, ate a couple slices of each and had enough for a couple more meals after I took it home. I like brothy soups better than creamy soups but one cold day I came in and have the cream of potato and did the job of warming me up. The last time I was there I was especially impressed with the employees with their friendliness and helpfulness and the speed with which they came out and clean the tables. Way above average on all three. That alone would bring me back again. In fact Im upping it from three Stars to 4 just because of that.

Schlotzskys was and has always been great! I love everything about them, the food, the dessert, the atmosphere. I go here when I need a pick me up, or a kick in the pants, when it comes to the flavor and taste of the food. I ordered the smoky, bacon roast beef sandwich, I usually get the medium, but I asked if they had a large and they did, in all my years of going here Ive never ordered a large. This thing was massive, I took a pic next to a bag of chips for reference, this is only half the sandwich, I can eat a medium sandwich in 1 sitting, but could only eat half while there, and the rest for dinner, 2 meals out of 1 sandwich, win,win!! I love the bread they make, the Cinnabons you get after the meal, sold separately of course,i always leave full, happy n satisfied , I guess the only bad thing you could say about them are the prices, they are pretty high, but sometimes you have to or be willing to pay a little more for the goodness you get here, in my opinion!! I come in here allot and there was a big girl in the front that was being really rude! I think her name Kayla. From being rude to me and some of her coworkers. Really disrespectful and childish!

Ordered takeout on November 13, 2020 from Schlotzskys on 34th and Bell. When picking up the order, questioned if the entire order was included in the package. Was assured it was complete. Upon arriving at home and passing out everyone s order, part of the order was indeed missing. Called the store and spoke with the manager on duty (Robert). He offered to give this same order in completion for free of charge. This was questionable as it was a large order. But he confirmed that is exactly what he would do. After waiting a couple of weeks, we tried to collect on that promise on November 23rd. Unfortunately we were told that Robert was no longer employed there. The manager on duty (Destiny) refused to honor what we were told and actually ended our call abruptly by hanging up on us. This is very disappointing that Schlotzskys would not honor the word of the manager. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere.
