Up to 6 flies on the table at one point. Got so bad we walked up to the front to get our ticket because it was grossing us out. A long brown strip of something that wasnt meat or food was in our queso, we didnt even mention it to the Staff we just wanted to leave. All young adults who dont care

Been to this place several times, have always had good service, yummy food and it s clean! They do serve big combo plates so you ve been warned! The Elvis combo plate is big enough to feed a couple of people at least, possibly 3! They sell some of the cutest t-shirts too! Stop here for a bite if you re driving through on I-40!! It s totally worth it! Chuy s customer for life!!

They were out of salsa, so they gave us ranch to dip our tortilla chips in. We ordered the flautas, but barely gave us enough sour cream and guacamole to dip them in and, since there was no salsa, I had to order a side of queso for dipping. The waitress seemed clueless. They were out of To Go boxes, too. For the price, I would have better off going to Taco Bell.

When Chuys first opened in Dallas it was so good and people waited hours to eat there. Today, well it is not the same. We just ordered and had our food delivered via Uber. The UBer driver did his job in getting us the food in time. But the food? Well, let s just say my five year old granddaughter most likely could have built better enchiladas! It was like they took two tortillas, slapped some canned chicken on it, rolled it and threw a few pieces of graded cheese on top, then microwaved the heck out of until the tortillas were so hard you could cut them without a knife. The only saving grace to this meal was the queso! Chuy s you disappointed me once again. Will not be back.

The best part of the meal were the fresh chips. Nothing else was impressive. I had the 2 fajita chicken enchilada combo. Chicken and Tex-Mex sauce over cooked. The rice and beans were bland. One of their specialty drinks costs as much as the meals. Even the sweet tea was bad. I did not even finish one drink.

Excellent scratch-made food! While in town, we enjoyed this place a few times. Our favorites are the taco/enchilada combo and the TexMex Burrito Bowl. The Creamy jalapeño sauce is AMAZING! We actually returned mostly because of this sauce We are moving on the Colorado Springs and were very happy to see that there is one there as well!

Well,well my favorite restaurant but never been to this location before. My server was supposed to be training but he was lousy, bad terrible just bad! First mistake a person by themselves treated I didnt exist. To the contrary I served in Las Vegas on the strip for 27 yrs training staff as well on every level of dining. Server 137/Micah C 05/15/24 12:23pm and it was slow in there. The trainee was a young blonde girl with glasses. Now youll have 2 lifeless staff. 0 upsell, 0 greet, 0 people traits body language etc. Doesnt write down orders thats a fail. I never got a check back to ever see if my food was correct hot cold or to my liking etc. Had to chase down to get my check. Doesnt know the danger zone on serving a drink where our mouth goes. Are you that desperate to choose some smuck to train your staff? I live here in Texas. Me and my wife loves Chuys food and service but this guy should be kicked to the curb at a truckstop! Ive had better service at IHOP. Ate yesterday in Wichita Falls ,Tx and my check was $17 the server tipped $50. Sucks to be him. Service people sells and makes money for everyone. But this first falls back on management for not watching their staff or properly training them. In the end managers are fired or restaurant goes bye bye.

Dont know what I did to upset these people but I sat outside in a curbside spot for an hour waiting for my food when they werent busy at all. When I went in for a refund, a lady came out magically with my food and got smart with me and eventually walked away with the food. Great service. All our dishes were spot on tex-mex delicious. Will definitely go again. Kid-friendliness: We didnt have kids with us, but was able to observe a family table nearby. There were highchairs available. The server was great with even the messiest child. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance, but no power door. The server will likely rush out to assist if they see you.

The food was great! Chips and salsa were delivered within a minute of sitting down! Bartender was on roll! We arrived an hour before close, so we ordered a quick appetizer and two beers. Food delivered within 10 minutes of ordering. Now the rant...as lovely and cute the pictures on the wall are, they were nasty looking. Food splattered on all of the ones around our table. The light above our table had spider webs in it. As it is the weekend before Christmas, I chalked it up to being busy.

It was our first time visiting chuys and I have to say it was a great experience! Our server brooklyn brought out a plate with all the sauces so we were able to find the best choice for us! Chicken fajitas were great! Large portions and well seasoned. Waitress Brooklyn was outstanding. She kept our glasses full, chips full, super friendly! She got our food out fast and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was ok. Our family will ask for her when we return.

Every time I m craving some Tex mex my favorite place to go would be chuy s. They have amazing hamburgers and fries. The people who work there are always on the ball about getting your order out to you right away. Especially Brooklyn, .I ask for Brooklyn every time I come in, because she always makes my experience enjoyable. Not only is she personable but she is great about checking up on you and your order. (P.S. the coloring sheets are very fun;) )

Let me tell you about THE spot of Amarillo and THE best server at this joint. Chuys is the place to be. I m gonna put you on the unknown God-tier dish of this restaurant: Shirley Goo. It s a delectable bowl of their fresh rice, heavenly queso, and jaw-dropping chicken. ALL IN ONE PLACE. You HAVE to get this dish. And who brings this dish out with a smile on their face every time? Brooklyn. Brooklyn is such an awesome server here. Always casing the place, making sure her tables never have to ask for a refill, topping off the bowls of chips, and bringing out anything you d need. Extra straw? She s there before you have to ask. Oh, you need a small side of pico? She s there with the speed of an Olympic athlete, offering a small container so you can take some to-go (just in case). This girl is the face of Chuy s. She makes serving look easy, inspiring any around her. If you won t go to Chuy s to try the Shirley Goo, PLEASE go to see this girl in her element. It s like watching Ramsey in the kitchen.

This was a surprising gem. We had an excellent waiter. I wish I remembered his name to give him credit. Ive never seen somebody wait so many tables and not lose their mind. The best salsa that Im having a long time, good prices and clean restrooms. Tesla superchargers not far away. Parking: Lots of parking, and lots of neighboring stores Kid-friendliness: Coloring menu for kids, the kids completed they can get a discounted t-shirt.
