Daniel Howe installed a patio sliding door. He did a great job, but he did more. He communicated very well before and during the job. He even took a couple of questions after the job was complete and accepted, which he was not obligated to do. I will use Ace and ask for him if I need handyman services in the future.

These people are far from being professional anything, other than B. S. Artists. The cost was 30% over the estimate, some of the material I was billed for was not used, and taken with them when they left. The job was only halfway finished, and very shoddily at that, when they said they were finished. I have had to redo almost everything they did as it was falling apart within 2 hours of their departure. attempting to fix what these individuals did to my house has cost me an additional 2 days work and $250.00. This doesnt even take into consideration the fact that the majority of their tools did not work,and I had to loan them my working tools and provide the needed hardware as they were totally unprepared. I will never think about using these people ever again, and I will make sure that they receive the word of mouth advertising they deserve.

In early January 2024, I sought the services of Ace Handyman for the important task of installing a safety railing for a disabled individual. Initially, the project faced challenges, including delays and a less-than-ideal quality of workmanship, which left the installed railing unstable and unsafe. This situation was far from what I expected, and I shared my concerns through a review, not expecting a resolution that would meet the necessary safety standards. Acknowledging the feedback, Ace Handyman Services took commendable steps to address the concerns. A different technician, along with the franchise owner, visited on February 6, 2024. Bolts were replaced and re-seated and and the rail realigned, improving its stability and safety. This follow-up action restored my faith in Ace Handyman Services. The professionalism and accountability demonstrated by the franchise owner and the new technician were exemplary. They not only corrected the initial issues but also ensured that the work done was of the quality and safety I had initially hoped for. I have deleted the old review as corrections to those points have been made, but I am pleased to create this new review and better rating to reflect the positive outcome and the high level of customer service provided. The experience reinforces the importance of open communication and a business commitment to making things right, ensuring the safety and well-being of those who rely on their service.

The Ace Handyman that came out was great. He installed two grab bars on the shower walls, (I had already paid for the bars.). It took him just shy of an hour to install them. The labor cost was about $200.00, which I was told before he came out. I believe that is very expensive for the work he did. Because of that, I will not use their services again

I had my front door sanded and restained. It was a wonderful job, however after 6 months the bottom had begun to fade. Their work is supposedly guaranteed for 12 months. I called about this issue. They send one person out; he said he had to formulate a plan and get back to me. I never heard anything. Then I received a call regarding my satisfaction. I explained the situation and they sent out another person who said it was due to the weather, obviously. Then his supervisor calls me back and says they do not guarantee things like this because of the weather. No one ever mentioned this, nor is it in their contract. I asked how much it would be to fix it. Still no reply!!

The worker from Ace that was sent did a great job my problem is the company. Ace quoted us a much lower price ($400 to fix our 3 doors that were not shutting properly) than what we were charged (over $500) and told us the quoted price was worst case scenario/it wouldn t really be that and it would actually be much cheaper (probably around $200). Which I thought was still high but wanted it done this week so we went ahead. They charged us $100 for weather stripping and shims, took less time than the high quote was, AND CHARGED US OVER $500. Just go with literally anyone else. We were totally misled and robbed and it was stupid on our part to believe the whole song and dance on this is worst case scenario . Totally dishonest company just stay away.

I was needing to get a rocking toilet stabilized and a new kitchen faucet installed. The faucet was installed with no problems and works well. The toilet was another matter. It seemed to be okay when the work was completed but later that night began rocking and moving again. I called the next morning (Saturday) the answering service took my message and relayed it to the owner who called me back right away and we decided it could wait until Monday morning since this was in the guest bathroom. The handyman returned on Monday and did more work to stabilize the toilet and again it seemed okay. But once again, after a few uses it returned to rocking. They again quickly responded to my call but no one was available to come back until Wednesday. A different handyman was sent this time and he basically started from the beginning and took a completely different approach to solving the problem...and it seems to have worked! We have tried it several times with no rocking or moving and it flushes just fine. Both handymen were on time, polite, and good to work with. The second one was particularly helpful, explained all that he was doing and why, took extra precautions to protect our carpet and rug, and was very professional in all he did. The only problem I have with the way this service works is that you dont know ahead of time (without paying an additional fee) exactly what the workers can and cannot do and what supplies will be needed. For instance, I was hoping to have an attic ladder fixed or replaced but had/have no idea which ladder to purchase so that it is here and ready when they come. That is a bit frustrating. You are then forced to work with whatever the local stores have in stock which you may or may not like rather than being able to order what you actually want ahead of time. Thus, for this and the need for the extra two visits, I gave them four stars and not five. I DO really like that they GUARANTEE their work for 1 year and they obviously stood behind it with the return visits to get it right at no additional cost.

The guy could see how he would do it, then did it. i felt comfortable to not have to watch over his shoulder, i even left the property to work on errands, and do stuff in the front, he came and got me to do a inspection, i was floored, he even fixed some of my cosmetic errors. top rating. ill ask for Mr Blake Wallace again. and now and forever Ace Handyman.
