My whole family and I have been coming here for years! One of our favorites in Amarillo. But everything has changed. They no longer have the pickles they used to have and they changed the onion rings. The burgers didn t taste the same. I m so sad that this will no longer be be one of our favorites.

We decided to take my son out to eat as a family before he gets shipped out tomorrow for the Army. All of our burgers were literally pink and undercooked to some degree. I ate almost half of mine. One of my sons burgers was manageable, so he was eating his but bit into a super hard piece that we still dont know what it was, and he chipped his back tooth biting into it. My other son got the naked burger, and he ate the majority of his, and my daughter ate half of hers. My moms burger was very pink, so I politely asked them if they could please make her another one very well done, and they did. (I dont like to take food back if its incorrect so I didnt even bother for mine. ) Only to get it and have it even more undercooked than the first one. I politely show the young man in the blue shirt how undercooked the second burger was, and he apologized and asked if we would like a refund on our order. I just wanted to eat out as a family one last time and have a good time with no problems so, I politely told him no, thats okay, but if he could please make another burger for my mom, and if needed he could cut the burger Patti in half to make sure it is done, so he did just that. At this point, my mom is sick to her stomach, so she decides to just eat her tots, and we just take the burger to go. I wish I would have caught his name, but the young man in the blue shirt was very polite, very accommodating, and very understanding. The young lady cooking the burger patties, not so much. The other young lady with very short hair had even worse customer service. She gave me dirty looks and mumbled something while shaking her head at me, like my mom shouldve just eaten the bloody burger. And the young man in the Grey shirt was neutral about the whole situation, he was ok too. The upside, is that my 10 yr old son loved his chicken bites and I even ordered him more because he liked them so much. Thats a huge plus because he is on the spectrum and he only likes a handful of foods and very specific at were he eats. So that was awesome. Im still not upset, but I do wish our visit wouldve been good. Have a Blessed day and I hope everyone else who eats there gets fully cooked food.

Not happy! I ordered a burger and didnt realize the pattie was still raw from the inside until I bitintoit, I took it back and instead of giving me a new one and apologizing, I got the same burger back on a bun that was hard and felt old. The pattie was now overcooked! Needless to say Im not coming back! Ive never been treated like I was getting a handout! I would give it zero stars but I guess one will suffice....

Four burgers and fries with small drinks plus 1 kids chicken tender meal was $59.00 after the coupon card of buy one get one burger free. We have had this card for years and had unlimited use. The manager then threw our card away and said they were doing away with them. This meal in the future would cost over $80 and not worth it. The fries were over cooked and condiment bar not stocked. Really gone downhill.

It is asked that an adult assist children at the vegetable buffett and get their drink filled at the fountain or other drink stations for safety. Good experience all around. Initial welcome and service def needs attention. Employees should never just stare away when a cust is standing at register. Food was good and cooked perfectly. This place used to be hands down one of the best burger places in town. But the last several times the food was incorrect, and i kept having to ask for positions of our order over and over again at the drive through window. We used to live in Amarillo and LOVED Buns Over Texas. The BEST burgers! We always come eat at buns when we are in town and it never disappoints ..except this last visit. While the burgers were still great the toppings bar has gone way down hill!! There used to be shredded lettuce, finely diced red onion, and dill pickle stackers which elevated the great burgers to NEXT LEVEL. Those details is one of the things that set them apart from any other burger joint. There was none of that this time. The toppings bar was basic and sparse to be honest. We were so sad and disappointed. It was not what we had been anticipating and waiting 6 hours for!

Guy at the window was impatient, slow & rude. So good! And reasonable price too, all meals were under $15 which is hard to find! The grilled chicken sandwich was tasty, the cheesy tator tots are the best crispy even after they sit!!! Chili is available to top the fries and tots, and that was just meat but well seasoned! The hamburgers are great quality beef but need a dash of seasoning (they do have a toppings bar). Tried the country fried steak sandwich, unexpectedly delicious .. The dessert fried bread bites were mind blowing!! Staff friendly, and efficient with several people. Will keep coming back!!!!

Had 2 burger meals, 1 regular, 1 large. The burgers were over cooked real crispy and the fries tasted stale to us. Also, the salad/burger fixing bar was not stocked well with green chili and other normal fixings. Overall the line was pretty long trying to have lunch here. Plenty of seating in the dining area though. Service at the counter was great. Food cost 30 dollars for two meals.
