Lora has an outstanding team. Everyone is very educated on hair and make the perfect accommodation to your style! Lora was an amazing boss to me during my time there and her clients were always wonderful to work with. She always made me feel heard and motivated me to keep on learning. She only uses the best products to maintain healthy hair. I can t express how great this salon is as an employee or a client! Absolutely the best in town. Truly one of a kind.

Alyssa was fantastic. She knew exactly what to do with my hair and we made a plan and set goals to accomplish future interests for my hair. I did have an allergic reaction to the product line, but Alyssa and I are working around that for future hair appointments. I guess that says everything about how I am grateful to have found Alyssa. The product didnt work out for me, but Alyssa had been able to shape my hair in a way that made me like my hair again. I would highly recommend this salon. Everyone is so friendly and you can tell they want you to have the best experience.

Please be very wary of getting your hair done at this salon. I was charged $200 more than I was quoted and was told that was just what the charge was going to be now. They completely ruined my hair and fried it. It was orange and streaky- even after coming in for a touch up, it was no where near blonde. I was out hundreds of dollars and my hair is still fragile and damaged to this day.

I received the best haircut from Gus. He did exactly what I was wanting and went above and beyond to make my results happen in one visit! I went in for a consultation and took off work for it. I had requested an experienced stylist. The lady that did the consultation was experienced. They called me a few days before my scheduled cut and said the lady had quit and they were moving me to someone else. When I got there, it was Alyssa, who I saw on the website has only recently graduated. I was mad that they tried to pull one over on me by passing me off to a recent graduate when I wanted an experienced stylist. Lora, the owner called to say that if I wanted that much experience then she would be the only one to do it. She didnt offer that option, just said that she monitors Alyssa so shes fine for me to use. I did my homework on this salon and am very disappointed with their service. Make sure to check out the credentials of your stylist before booking.

So impressed with the way the salon takes care of their clients. Can t say I ve ever had a salon experience like this. I live out of town and was visiting, so I wanted to choose a good salon while here. I chose this salon due to the reviews and I m so glad I made that choice! Sarah is great. She works hard to make sure I love my hair. Shes very personable and remembers her clients details from appointment to appointment...like things/people from their lives. I know this is a skill shes cultivated and shes good at it. Everyone Ive dealt with at The Salon has been pleasant, professional, and good at their job. I have been to a lot of salons here in Amarillo and just could not find the right one and the right stylist, until I met Raylynn!!! Raylynn is such a professional and absolutely knows what she is talking about and what she is doing!!! I love when people are passionate about their job and furthering it. The Salon by Lora Brown stands out from all the other places I have been right from the beginning to the very end of you appointment!!! I made an appointment for 8:30 am the next day on the website of this business. An extremely rude staff member called me at 8:15 am the day of the appointment and informed me that that time frame was too early for Lora Brown and I would have to reschedule. And that when I did reschedule, dont plan on having my hair blown dry and to be prepared to walk out wet.
