Everytime i come the food is amazing and it s super quick. The lady manager is always super friendly. I will say on my recent visit i got out of work at 9:30 so i did arrive near closing time which i felt bad for doing, when i came in I noticed the cooks shake the head and saying stuff in spanish. I always ask for no mushrooms but unfortunately this time there was mushrooms within the rice. I know for future to not come so close to closing time. Very great place, not bashing them just wanting to make it clear it s better to go when your not a problem, and that s anytime besides past 9.

Great/delicious food. The fried rice and veggies are always very flavorful. Dining in, there are several sauces to add to your plate for extra flavor. I do feel like portions are smaller dining in compared to carryout. However, both are worth the cost. Dining in, floors were very sticky, and though it wasnt dirty per se, it didnt feel very clean either.

I used to stop by often but food portion and quality is inconsistent. I couldn t eat my last order due to the overabundance of salt in the food. I don t know why restaurant owners over salt their offerings. Salt is a flavor enhancer . Keep it to a minimum please. Most people can add extra if need be to suit their taste. So salty that everything tasted the same for goodness sake go easy on it! I should have brought it back. It was awful!

Ordered online and they forgot to include my order of wontons. The udon noodles were completely covered in soy sauce. It wasn t described that way online and I didn t care for it. Way too much sauce. When I called back about my missing food the lady was very nice and refunded me for it.

Went through the drive through. I sat and watched several cars behind me get service and leave. It took 30 minutes before a manager came out asking me for my receipt. I gave her my receipt. It took another 15 minutes for them to bring out my food. Knowing that they messed up and chose not to rectify it until they found that I was upset and then they gave me a coupon for the meals that that I had ordered. Quality of food when I got home was poor, service was worse told the manager at the end that I felt that he was patronizing me. I told him I would not be coming back to the establishment .that I would give the coupons to my son worst experience at a restaurant ever .

Honestly I come here a lot, the steak and chicken is always dry and hard to chew and sometimes the rice is crunchy. I am also a student and come here for lunch almost every week and I usually only have to show them a school ID but they for some reason requested to see my parking pass too?? Anywho those arent deal breakers, still a pretty good place to come and have decent prices. Do recommend the other chop chops in town though if your looking for more fresh food.

3 stars because they got one order wrong fist time trying it fried rice is great I got the teriyaki chicken the chicken had no teriyaki flavor pineapple was great the chicken was juice the orange chicken was good so was the steamed rice with chicken and shrimp was good. The orange chicken seemed to be missing chicken. It had these very tough tiny pieces of what may have been chicken but there was a lot of breading and tough pieces of something. I love Asian food and love the chop shop in Phoenix, if these are even related but this was the worst Asian food Ive ever eaten. I ordered the 2 meat chicken and shrimp and will never again. The chicken was so dry and tough its obvious it had been sitting around for awhile and not trash. The schri.p was also overcooked and like chewing on a piece of rubber. The meal had so zucchini in it that it was hard to eat it. The Terriaki sauce was like colored water. In town visiting family and heard the food was good and the place to go. We ordered on-line and the food was earlier then predicted but was beyond awful. If we had eaten in restaurant I wouldve taken it back and not paid for it. Panda Express has never been this bad and you need some sort of quality control in effect to prevent this from happening. I would think most people would have better expectations than this.

My sweet daughter offered to buy the family dinner tonight and unfortunately she spent 40 bucks for either really old or overcooked chicken. I got the new orange siracha chicken and the kids got orange chicken. This has either been sitting there under a light for the last 3 or 4 hours or its over cooked. Its chewy, dry and tough. I ate half and threw the rest away. Very disappointed. Kids concur. Theirs isnt good either. Review Follow-Up: The owner reached out to us the day we made our order and left this initial review. Beth was very courteous and professional. It was important to her to get all of the details so that she can ensure her staff is following the standard operating procedures and recipes she has outlined. She also took appropriate steps regarding the bill. She clearly holds her customers in high regard as well as the food that comes out of her kitchen.

Alright, a year ago I left a terrible review of this place because of its then consistently soggy zucchini and bad service. But tonight they proved me wrong, with every part of my order on point and good quality food. They hit the spot tonight and Im happy I gave them another chance. The only thing is the food is still expensive for what you get and its not even real asian food, but if you know what youre getting and your fine with that, it can still be really good. If I lived in Amarillo, this would be my go-to for healthy and completely delicious food (the two aren t always found together!). But if you re driving through on I-40, it s a short trip off the highway and totally worth it. We had the orange chicken (full of a variety of veggies) and salad with really fresh mixed greens, grilled chicken and mushrooms, mandarin orange slices and fab dressing. Fast and fabulous!

No Mas! Placed an order via telephone for delivery. Everything was really old like it had been in the steam table forever. Zucchini was nothing but mush. The soup was absolutely tasteless. Everything was just thrown together stuck in a bag and brought to me. They even forgot my cold drink. When I tried the entree which was pork, shrimp and chicken over fried rice, the shrimp were spoiled. Sorry but I didnt want to worship the porcelain god. Pay for it with my credit card. Kids under 12 eat free on Thursdays! (Dine-in only) Although our kids ate for free, the food wasn t that great. It tasted bland and lacked the flavor of true Japanese restaurants. The orange chicken is GREAT!!! I was leery at 1st, then I tried the orange chicken and rice it was really good, and Im very picky. I wasnt impressed w the teriyaki steak, it was bland to me compared to Panda Express Steak and shrimp (which I love). Unfortunately, our experience at Chop Chop was disappointing. While driving through Amarillo we decided to find the highest rated restaurant we could and eat there. Considering that this place had a 4.7 rating with over a thousand reviews, we had to find out what this was all about! But having tried it, I cant imagine how this restaurant was rated higher than everywhere else. Dont get me wrong, its an okay fast food Chinese place, but the food we were served was bland, overcooked, and not particularly tasty. I had the chicken and shrimp teriyaki with fried rice, but they forgot to bring the teriyaki. When I did get some teriyaki sauce, it was as runny as water and it did nothing to add flavor to the overcooked chicken or the flavorless rice. Outside of the actual food quality, the rest of our experience was not great either. There was a pricing discrepancy between the menu on the wall and what the register attempted to charge, the staff was new and not very aware of the menu or processes, and we were even bugged by flies at the table. I cant give more than 3 stars, and I feel thats a little generous. We were left wishing we had tried another local establishment because I dont think this can be representative of the top restaurants in Amarillo.
