I cant rate the food since I didnt stay but there was no Host[ess] seating guests on the Saturday evening that we went. We (family of 4) looked around, there were no open tables, except one that was reserved, so we stood behind a pair of ladies who were clearly finished eating (their checks were plainly visible) and were just hanging out. Waited about 10 minutes. They continued to talk. Then I noticed another group who was actually there before us also waiting for that same table. I felt very uncomfortable. I dont want to fight for a table or hover over other patrons - its rude. This was not a cafeteria, there were servers, so I was so disappointed that they didnt feel the need to handle traffic. Anywho, went to Grimaldis across the street, waited 30 minutes on a bench inside, then had some good pizza.

Waitresses were nice, the place was pretty dead until 7, if you want cocktails that are balanced prob don t come here. The mules were ok, but tasted more of ginger beer than anything, the dirty martini was very dirty.. my husband ordered a godfather(which they took off the bill), I could tell by the color of it that it would be bad. It tasted like cough syrup, no balance between amaretto and bourbon. And the espresso martini tasted like pure Baileys cream! Someone needs to have Jon Taffer come in and train bartenders. Edit* we came in yesterday evening 7/17 around 6pm.. thank you.

I went with some friends during happy hour and got the chicken quesadillas and fried cheese. Both of those were super delicious and would recommend! These werent in the happy hour menu, but still really yummy. I got a margarita for $7, which was super delicious. Unfortunately our waitress was quite rude. She was fine at the beginning, but not so much towards the end. My friend jokingly asked for free shots, but then said wed pay for them. She said shed give them to us for free if he tipped well. He tipped $10 on the $58 tapped and she looked at the receipt, said that wasnt 20% then crumpled up the receipt and made him re-tip. It was quite shocking, and we didnt even get the shots for free. So thank you Madison for being rude to us and we will not be returning to Mahoneys anymore.

Love this place! The brunch food is 10/10. I had the texwhich with brisket and a waffle on the side. Everything was cooked to perfection. Can t forget the bottomless mimosas for $15. Who can say no to that? Our server, Stephanie was super attentive and sweet. She helped us out with a smile on her face and covered all our needs before we even knew we needed them. Definitely will be back!

Service was good. Neat place for live music. There were 5 of us in the party. When we got apprtizer plates, 3 of the 5 had food particles on it. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner. Thought the soup was salty. Had my friends try it and they agreed. I casually mentioned it to the server and they comped me for it (great service for doing that) but did informed me they tasted it and thought it was fine. The only gripe was my friends ordered extra jalenpenos for their meals and when we got the check they were each charged a $1 for it. I do not have a problem paying extra for things but expect to be informed of the extra charge.

First time visiting and I will visit again as the menu is so extensive and varied. Lauren took care of us and she is a very nice, and respectful server. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was as expected. We had a misunderstanding with our dish and she and Dennis (manager) came to check everything was perfect and we were completely satisfied.

I am visiting in Texas and Sean made my experience amazing. He was superb. He was bussing tables, hosting, an amazing waiter and more. He answered my questions in full. What a great little place. We are from out of town and our hotel was walking distance from this place. The atmosphere was awesome. Live music and lots of people. The server knew everything about the menu, including drinks. I had the spaghetti and meat sauce, and it was really good. If Im ever back this way, Ill be coming here again.

My friends and I came here for brunch. Kyle was our bartender and his service was over and beyond. We did not have to ask for a thing. He made sure we always had our glasses were always filled. One of the orders came out incorrect, (just the eggs were cooked wrong - not a biggie) but he immediately noticed it, and went back to the kitchen to correct it. He was busy but still on top of everything. On top of that, he has a fun personality! Mahoney s is lucky to have him! Furthermore, the food was amazingggggg! The Irishman was what I got, and it is super recommended! And ask for Kyle for service! Update: We had Cat as our bartender this time, and she is stellar!!!! Cat was friendly, & funny, and made sure we were always taken care of. And the Irishman is still amazing!!!! Definitely recommend her for service and this establishment!

We had dinner reservations for my son s 21st birthday that I had called several days ahead to book which was confirmed w/ the manager. There was a rehearsal dinner going on until 8pm which was fine. We get there, and it wasn t until about 8:30 a blonde lady working there I don t know if she was a manager or hostess let a couple that got there after us inside. My family and I decide to finally walk in and a sweet lady from the wedding party had more customer service than the manager. The manager never came over to us after standing inside for 10-15 minutes knowing we had reservations. She disappeared. We ended up leaving and walking over to Cyclone s where the service and food were excellent. ***lets be clear it was not the day of that I made the reservation. It was 2 days before that I called to make the reservation and it was confirmed for 8pm***

Chase took care of us. We celebrated my mothers birthday. The food was great. We definitely both recommend the Short Ribs plate. The bread pudding was . Service was very very great. Andrew, the evening manager, really cares about his patrons. If you have a problem he is on it to make the experience at Mahoneys great! We usually get Mason as our server. Ask for him. He can recommend great drink / food options and its friendly and attentive. If you live in The Woodlands this is a great live music spot (starts every night at 8pm) and they have a great steak. Also, the bone in wings are incredible! Always a good time with good vibes!

Hubby and I went for a late breakfast on a Saturday. We got the sweet cream pancakes, avocado toast, scrambled eggs and potatoes. The food was tasty almost home cooked taste to the food. So, literally I had my friends meet up here for a special drink CHATTA COLADA and they no longer served it. I told Andrew and he put together a task force to figure out the drink and the one they brought me was good. Then NICO, an amazing guy walked up and brought me the REAL DEAL which went down smooth! When the manager is one of the servers, and is struggling to keep up with the amount of people who are pouring in to experience this establishment , you reconsider your decision. The caprice salad was very sad. NO basil at all whittled lettuce . Please do better or remove from the menu. The queso was pretty good. If I ever did go back, I would the queso.

The food was delicious! We had the Texas eggrolls, brisket tacos, and tex-wich. The eggrolls were crispy with a good kick. The tacos were flavorful and came with light crispy chips and a very good creamy queso. The tex-wich was the absolute best combination of melt in your mouth brisket, egg, and cheese (we had no idea how good this combination was going to be). We will be back to try some more of the food. Parking: We parked at the mall and walked there. Its hard to tell what parking garages are free, private, etc.

Nice looking bar/restaurant. Our server was great. However, food was just so-so. Taco Salad needs massive help. Reuben looked good (did not taste it). The Texas Egg Rolls were really dry. Live music starts around 8pm. Once it starts, good luck having a conversation with anyone. Musicians are great, just WAY too loud.

We had a server named Bryce G. He is amazing! So polite with the yes, sir and yes, ma am, Great eye contact, and just really engaged with customers, We told the manager, Andrew, about it and he was really excited to hear that we had such a great experience. Apparently, this server and his brother have had a lot of really good complements. Nico the bartender and the whole crew really are amazing! I highly recommend Mahoneys for the food, the service, and the atmosphere. It s loud when a live band playing but what do you expect? No complaints at all, give them a try!!

My first time here and this place is great. They had an 80s cover band playing which made it even better, cause who doesnt like the 80s right!! Chase out waiter was amazing and very attentive. You would think they knew how to make corn beef and cabbage. I went there after speaking to someone over the phone asking what is it real corn beef? Did they sliced them self? He said yes, they make their own corn beef and slice it. I paid the cover charge five bucks for me five bucks for my wife, ordered the corn beef and cabbage, and when it came to my table, it was raw cabbage, almost raw carrot potatoes were the only thing that was edible and the corn beef was sandwich meat I thought I was gonna throw up it was not even at a ball. I would never go there again.

To be a bar in a place where there are other bars this place doesnt cut it. The younger guy was rude to someone that wasnt me. I was ashamed to be lgbt with the way his behavior in the moment. The guy was simply asking to have the football game on a tv that was by his table he wasnt sitting at the bar area so they couldnt see. He was super dry and acted as if the guy was bothering him. Cat is a nice Bartender. Drinks okay. Flat bread was a little crispy. Music is hip-hop. I feel like they play that music to get the young hip hop lovers in but the price you could go to about 4 other bars and enjoy yourself.

Many tasty lunch options between $10 to $12. Avoid the kid s menu, though. $7 for four tiny pieces of flatbread. My 7 year old would need $21 worth of that kid s meal to get remotely full. They validate parking but for the adjacent Westin parking garage and not for the parking garage right above where the restaurant is. $6 to park for up to 2 hours in the garage above the restaurant.

They just refreshed their cocktail menu and of course I had to sample as many as was feasibility possible. Each one was great and packed a punch. Mahoneys remains one of my favorite spots in The Woodlands. Update(12/17/22): Thoughts havent changed. We did not find the bottom of the bottomless mimosas. Well keep going back and updating on our very scientific research.
