Yall the food here is amazing. I came in during the lunch hour and ordered breakfast. The bacon was crispy, the hash browns were perfect, the eggs were good. So I normally dont eat grits but I gave it a shot.....they were amazing as well. Im from Houston so for this small city of Amarillo to have the gem, I am impressed!! Will definitely be coming back when I come back into town.

First timer. Very very large facility with many tables. 99% of all entrees under $10.00. $1.00 extra for breakfast after 11:am. 20% added to 8 or more. No pancakes, breakfast tacos or burritos after 11:am. Coffee $2.25 - senior coffee $1.00. Guest WiFi very good. Staff very friendly. Check out new menus. It doesn t seem to be posted but add 4% to credit card payments. Bathrooms large and dated. More than one bathroom. I would definitely come back when I m town. At first we thought we re going into a tiny place but once we went inside my boyfriend and I were so shocked at how big the place was and how so different it is from the outside..the decor was amazing, the waitress amazing and I even got two souvenirs from their little shop inside..the bus boys were so nice and down as well as everyone else there very great hospitality and the food was delicious the pancakes were so soft and tasted so real

I was invited to this establishment for breakfast. With the large amounts of people being served, it gave the impression that it s a popular local restaurant. I m providing my opinion primarily in the service and food. I will lightly touch on the atmosphere. The servers at this restaurant provided outstanding service. They went out of their way to ensure a positive experience. As for the food, I ordered the Senior breakfast. It consisted of Two Eggs the way you like um, Hashbrowns, and your choice of Toast, Biscuits, and Gravy or one Pancake, Served with Bacon or Sausage Patty. I requested my eggs over medium, hashbrowns, sausage, and white toast. My eggs came closer to over-hard; the hashbrowns were cold and kind of chewy; the sausage patties were cold; the toast was good. With respect to the delivery of the food, I was under-impressed. The atmosphere was comfy and down home.

I Ordered the guevos ranchero. The food was tasty, but not that hot. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Coffee was very good and hot. Our servers were very friendly and prompt. However when we were trying to purchase some souvenirs from their gift shop. We were ignored and skipped over for another customer who was there after us. And when I replied that were next, I was ignored. Very rude.

If you always want your coffee hot and your cup never empty, this is the spot. The waitresses are always watching you and always have that big Texas smile! The waitress was so caring for each of us and all of us were handicapped in a different way. The whole store and wait staff were polite and helpful. We could visit and eat a great meal quickly Parking: There was enough close to building that we all got in with little hassle. Youngbloods has long been a staple for my family who regularly complains at every other restaurant we choose. The food is always good, fresh, and quick. Portions are large. While the food was excellent, and our waitress was nice, the owner was extremely rude to her employees. We were checking out at the register, and we were standing in between her and the employees, and she could not wait until after we left to rudely reprimand them. They sheepishly walked away. Then the lady at the register spoke up, and defended the employees. Which made the owner answer her in retort, and they proceeded to bicker!!! And we were still standing in between them. It was quite uncomfortable. When they finally stopped bickering, I stepped aside and mentioned to her that it was unpleasant for me as a customer. She defended her actions, and gave no apology. I felt it was inappropriate, as customers deserve a pleasant experience.

Seated promptly but waited over an hour for food. For some reason, the order was not received in the kitchen . Ask for super crispy bacon only to receive half cooked. My wife and I have eaten breakfast here before, and the food was nothing special. This time, it was one of our best food experiences in Amarillo. Dont know if they have new cooks or the stars were lined up perfect, but we will be back. Only thing I didnt like was that there were six of us and they didnt want to split up the bill. Ive lived in Amarillo for over a year and am still discovering new places to try. This unassuming place was a pleasant surprise and delivered from service to food. I had an egg white omelet with ham and bacon, hashbrowns, toast, and salsa that was, by far, some of the best Ive had anywhere. The pancake I had was flavorful, light, and cooked to perfection! Ill definitely be back and looking forward to sampling something from their lunch menu.

I usually go to Ye Olde Pancake Station, but had been told to try this place. The food wasnt inedible but it wasnt impressive either. I had the two egg breakfast with chicken fried steak. Maybe it was the reference to the old Stockyard restaurant that had me thinking the chicken fried steak would be really good? It was just ok. The service was promot and polite, prices arent bad at all I had a huge breakfast and my total was just under $15. Theres two rooms to eat in, one looks almost like a banquet hall and I was seated in the smaller room - it was still very spacious. The tables & chairs are nice. Overall, the customer base seems to be nice polite elderly folks and its typically nice just to be around them. Cant say if Ill be back or not but if given the choice between here and Pancake station Id pick Pancake station.

Service was outstanding. I picked this for it being a local spot. The 3 egg omelet was good with my hash brown and biscuits and gravy. I wasnt a fan of the gravy, it wasnt as thick as I expected and had a greasy flavor.
