This place is amazing and the food is delicious. More than generous portions compared to the prices, and you will not leave hungry. Dawn was outstanding as my server, and there is a tall and thin hostess with blonde hair and glasses that has a pretty smile. Thank you for smiling and brightening my morning. Highly recommend this place for food and service.

i m not one to post reviews on anything but this i have too. me and my husband came in about an hour after it had opened. when we got our food, the eggs were rubbery, the steak my husband got was overcooked. my husband is not a picky eater by any means, he ll eat anything but he wouldn t touch this. the service was also very sub par, we weren t treated as guests as we watched other customers being treated as such. we probably won t be back.

I have taken my mom out for her birthday to get some lost Cajun. Lost Cajun was closed until 4. We stayed to try the ye olde pancake station. We didn t have to wait long to get seated. Once we were seated we waited for 20 mins to get a waitress to even take our drink order. After she took our drink order it took her another 20 to 30 mins to take our meal order. We waited about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins to even get our food out. There was people that came in after us and they had gotten their food and drinks before we did and one of them was a top of 8 people. The customer service from our waitress was not the greatness. She never asked if we needed anything or asked us any questions on the food. The food was cold and tasted like it was from Sam s club. Our food was either cold or still frozen. I will never be coming back to the ye olde pancake station.

Waitress was new but did a good job and other staff was there to support if needed. Food was hot and fresh. If I had any complaint the mashed potatoes were a little thick today but I was able to fix that so doesn t warrant taking away a star as far as I m concerned as it was fixed. Restaurant was clean as usual. If something is wrong when I go eat and it is corrected with no issues I concerned that a win. Great place to visit if you have not.

Worth the wait but with delivery service had the rudest customer who was calling me and texting me as soon as I accepted the order. I just got to be patient with the employees since they were swamped with other customers. I delivered the order at a timely manner and I will make sure to look at who is ordering before I accept the order.

When visiting Amarillo don t miss this place!!! YUM YUM YUM - best pancakes in town. We visited 8/4/24 on a busy Sunday at noon for brunch. You can tell the place is popular by the amount of people who were there. We were a party of 2 and waited for 10-15 minutes for a table. After being seated we immediately were served coffee and drinks. Service was friendly and staff capable and attentive. Portions were huge and the food delicious. We waited about ten minutes for our meal. Level, paved, free parking lot. There was a small women s bathroom with a line waiting so I didn t use it. Men s bathroom was reported to be clean. Convenient to other shopping, hotels and highways. Will definitely eat here again if ever in the area. Kid-friendliness: Lots of young families were there with children and grandparents with grandkids.

Was very disappointed! I ordered 3 things to go. Eggs Benedict (they forgot to put hollandaise), next was chocolate chip waffle ( they put waffle in a styrofoam container with holes in the bottom so my syrup went leaked all over the place). Last thing was an Texas steak omelette, Omelette was good but hash browns were just browned on the outside.

Wow, whata let down. Drove over here based on reviews. Server was a young man who greeted me with a good morning at 2pm in the afternoon.. sign of things to come. He took my drink order and disappeared. Salad was dripping with water and soggy... brought my food.. and still no drink.. had to ask for it again... catfish was raw and inedible. I said, -I cant eat this- and he offered to take it back..but I had lost my appetite. He said manager would come over.. dont think the manager wanted to face the fish and never saw him... a guy at the front counter shrugged his shoulders at me as I left and said sorry. Now, I cant help but think... if this is the show out front, what goes on in the kitchen? Parking: NA

First of all I want to say, I love this place or thought I did. I work in healthcare and my client typically like to eat here, service is great, food is fresh, environment is welcoming. I took a leap this time and went with my fiancé. We are both African American, and my client does not identify as that race. Not that it has much to do with it, however, the environment was harsh. Waiter was not welcoming and wasn t attentive. I refilled my own water with my finances while he continued to sip on the iced down sprite.Hair was found in my French fries, and my wonderful fish was uncooked. When I had it the first time I really fell in love. Manager did address it promptly and properly that s the reasoning of a tip and some stars , but the overall experience was unacceptable.

SEE LATEST REVIEW AT END OF THIS REVIEW : Ye Olde Pancake Station is your local old time Cafe. They have a lot of breakfast offerings. I was passing through and wanted to try their version of Bennys . My review is only of the Benedicts, nothing else. The staff was polite and helpful. Terri was my waitress, took good care of me and was a delight. With that in mind, I will let you know that have a top ten list for Eggs Benedicts. After my visit I rated these Bennys as #9 out of 10. #1 being the best and #10 not as good. My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price #1 - taste: they use an English muffin that is toasted and Canadian bacon. The eggs were poached perfect easy . I couldnt find out about the Hollandaise sauce but it was tasty . It comes with hash browns. All of this made the review to 5 stars. #2 -presentation : It looked appetizing. #3-price: $9.35 is a good price for Eggs Benedict. Coffee $2.25 a cup. Now with all that said, it is hard to place Ye Olde Pancake Station in my top 10 because of how little a difference there is between all of them. I squeezed them into the #9 spot. When in Amarillo do a breakfast here. No matter what you eat it should be good. NEW REVIEW 06/23/24: Things have changed. Some some good and some not so good. They have done some remodeling, the staff is just as friendly and the coffee refills keep coming. The coffee cups now match and have their logo imprinted on it. The prices have went up but not very much. #1 - taste: they use an English muffin that is toasted and a very thick ham not Canadian bacon. The eggs were poached soft . The Hollandaise sauce was glistening like it wasnt completed correctly. It comes with hash browns but were disheveled (see photo below) . All of this made the review of the food 3 stars. The rest received 5 stars. #2 -presentation : It looked disappointing . #3-price: $10.25 is a good price for Eggs Benedict. Coffee $2.50 a cup. I cant attest to the rest of the taste of the breakfast meals but I do know the sausage gravy is very very peppery. There are a lot of breakfast eating places in Amarillo.

Elviss Review: Ye Olde Pancake Station. A Breakfast Oasis in Amarillo! During my recent visit to Amarillo, my son-in-law insisted on taking me to Ye Olde Pancake Station, and boy, was he spot-on! From the moment we stepped inside, the cozy, old-timey atmosphere enveloped us like a warm hug. Pancakes as Big as a Hat! The pièce de résistance? The pancakes! These fluffy, golden discs were larger than life each one a hearty feast in itself. I felt like I was diving into a pancake sea, and I didn t want to come up for air. Eggs, Bacon, Hash Browns, and Toast Perfection! The breakfast spread was a symphony of flavors. The eggs were cooked to velvety perfection, the bacon crispy and savory, the hash browns golden and satisfying, and the toast oh, the toast! crunchy on the outside, pillowy on the inside. It was a breakfast masterpiece. Family Vibes and Friendly Staff Ye Olde Pancake Station isn t just a restaurant; it s a gathering place for friends and families. The staff, some of whom have been here for nearly four decades, treat you like kin. Terri, our waitress, was an absolute delight attentive, warm, and quick with a smile. Verdict: Five Stars! If you re in Amarillo, don t miss this breakfast gem. Whether you re a pancake aficionado or just craving a hearty morning meal, Ye Olde Pancake Station delivers. It s the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you ve even finished your last bite.

It came w/salsa & warm green sauce - the green sauce was soooo good! My sister had an Apple & Cinnamon topped Belgium Waffle.... apples cooked to perfection! Service was great & fast and no wait. However, when we were leaving about 10:30am on a Sunday, they were starting a wait list. Definitely recommend! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian & Vegan options easy to pick out from menu.

Go for the food, definitely not the atmosphere. Dutch baby was amazing. Service was okay. The secondary dining area with the little rooms and color scheme seem odd. Was cold and lacked any decor of note aside from oddly placed cross medallions up high. Its worth a try just for the food.

I have eaten there many times, and introduced others. While waiting for table I over heard cashier asking customer of they were alone at table. Then call someone over & explaining the check was different than what computer said. Did not pay more attention after that. When we were leaving same thing happened to us. We were told to wait and seemed 10 minutes later they were still discussing, while we waited. I felt like I was being held captive because of something out of my control. Was annoyed when we finally told the to keep difference and led I have no plan to return,

Stopped for breakfast on our way to Dallas, TX, instead of going to a chain restaurant and we were very pleased. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy and the service was great; not to mention the food. Definitely will stop again in the future!

The best pancakes in town! I had an omlette which came with pancakes. The salsa for the omlette is amazing, cant decide which one is better between the red and green. Our waitress was very busy, but very prompt and courteous. She took great care of us.

Booked a group dinner for our band. This is the second time we have used the pancake station for a catered event like this. We had almost 100 people there, and they were wonderful to work with and so reasonably priced. The band kids love the chicken fried steak and the dinner filled all of the kids. Pancake Station made it so easy for us. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing a group dinner event like this. Great service, and delicious.

Food was ok for the price, the service was not what I expected, I was on a breakfast date, and I felt like I was being treated somewhat different, not being asked if I needed anything, my coffee ran low and didnt get filled, when the waitress came around to offer coffee we were already feeling left out so we just left, we didnt finish our breakfast because of how we were feeling unwelcome. I will never come to eat here ever again. I will add that another reason we didnt finish our breakfast is because something fell out of the vent and unto our table and it just made us uncomfortable with our food. Please please clean your vents.

We were passing through and saw this place. It is the quintessential Texas breakfast place. The omelet I ordered was among the best I ve had and the service from the wait staff matched. I ll add this to my regular stops when traveling.

I felt like we handing our own plates to each other, instead of coming around the table, she hand us our plates one by one across the table, our hands were going in front of everyone faces. I asked for butter and jelly, I felt like I had to explain to her why I wanted more butter and jelly. The food was amazing as usual , but our waitress wasn t not all that

Driving in from albuquerque new Mexico didnt get breakfast since 4am very hungry with my family. when we got their we were told the wait would be 20 min folks that came after us were called in because we were a party of 6. Waited for 45 min another party was ahead of us and they had one more extra and they were called in when we were told we were next. Saw the reviews and noticed their seating layout was wack decided to leave we still have a long way home and decided not to wait any longer Invest your time and money wisely
