9.28.2024.. First Experience at this place. The food and drinks are great, and they have a Fabulous selection of beers to choose from. There are enough televisions to watch any sport or game you want, and there is a fantastic tribute wall dedicated to Amarillos Firefighters. Dani at the bar was excellent and fast in making drinks. Im surprised that on a College Football Saturday there was not a second bartender to assist with the amount of patrons and the volume of drinks. BRAVO! Highly Recommend, and Ill Definitely come back again.

Everything was going pretty smooth for the first 30 minutes or so then the waitress spilled a glass of tea on my wife and in her plate of food, didnt offer any kind of help but a wrag to wipe the table. There was a pool of tea we sat next to for the remainder of our time at the establishment. And no kind of complimentary services. When I questioned the bill because my wifes plate of food was ruined it was a hassle and still didnt get at least that plate taken off our tab. We spent $60 for 2 meals and one of them didnt get touched

Quintessential sports bar. Everything Ive ever had here is great. They are related to Georgia Street Taphouse. Our favorites would be the pizza bites or the nachos. Lots of beer on tap and LOTS of TVs. Great place to hang out with friends or take the family out for lunch. They have a separate bar and dining area. The bar area is larger though.

Went on a Sunday evening was pretty slow yet the place smelt terrible and looked a mess.water all over the bathroom. Bartender was sweet kinda the only plus side to that evening we left before finishing our drinks or food felt uneasy with some of the workers looking and making small jokes out of ear.

We always like to support local businesses but this restaurant continues to disappoint off and on. We have left over poor service twice now over the past few years. Today we left because they wouldn t change TV channels off the Pat McAfee Show so we could watch the Olympic Trials. Their food certainly isn t good enough to justify coming to a sports bar to watch talk shows.

Texas Firehouse Sports Bar & Grill is a great place to grab a quick dinner. The weekly specials make the prices reasonable. We have enjoyed their nachos (both chicken and ground beef). Make sure to order them as everything on the side so the chips do not become soggy. We also enjoy their pizzas - especially the Philly Pizza. The Meatball Pizza Pizza is very good too. Another favorite of the family is the pizza roll. The menu has many choices to choose from. Every chilton I have had at Texas Firehouse is very good! The service is good. The only negative for us is that the restaurant is dark inside and usually the music is very loud. However, the food is good.

Food and atmosphere was good. However the service started out good but then went to sh..T. i think her name was Brittney T, unless that was the cashier at the bar that checked us out, the name on the reciept. Twice! we had to get up and ask for more drinks. At the end we had to find someone to pay. Even then we had a hard time paying. I swear I was bout to walk out without paying. I shouldve left her a penny on the table, as bad the service got, instead gave her only a $2 tip, after spending $61. This was by far the worst service Ive ever received, this is our last time here.

i guess this review is a little of a mixed bag. the family and i went for some dining in the afternoon.. so in this case it was way too dark inside to see. i guess if you are going for the bar experience, it looks pretty good in that area since there is lighting and plenty of tvs. but for us, the booth was too dark for dining. our food was hit and miss. wife and i got a philly and fries, my son a flatbread, and my daughter a wrap. our philly was average and pretty small (size of a hotdog), but the fries were darn good. flatbread was pretty good as well, but the wrap lacked any flavor except the sauce. i think we will return for drinks next time and try something different to eat. at this point, i recommend but maybe try different items?

This place has went down hill majorly. We came to eat at about 2pm there were 2 other tables occupied and 1 waitress. The waitress was polite. We sat and placed our drink order. 10 minutes later we were asked what we wanted to drink again. A few minutes pass and the waitress brings the drinks and mine was wrong after telling her twice. We then placed our order. 2 salad, a sandwich and fried pickles. 30 minutes goes by so I ask where our order is. The response was, let me check. So the waitress comes back and asked what kind of fries my child wanted with his chicken tenders. We didnt order tenders. We then paid for our drinks and left. Thats one way to loose a business. Terrible restaurant.

Wow! Super disappointed. We have been going here for years and here in the latest we have been going several times a month. Usually we get our favorites pizza rolls. But I have been talking my family into the pizza for months after seeing it. We are long time pizza lovers and have worked pizza for years. So! We are only about the best dough and toppings. And our pizza comes and its thin crust. OK no worries must have just been a mess up. We have experienced this in the past as previous pizza workers. We asked the lady what was going on she tells us this is the only option. OK. So we eat and find it so strange that a place that has amazing dough for pizza rolls would only serve thin crust. So feeling crazy about that we look up their website and theres almost no thin crust there. So we ask again and show pics. I mean we go there so often and its crazy right. She instantly asks if we want to talk to a Manager. I say ok if you perfer. The manager comes and I tell him everything especially that I had to talk my family out of their favorite meal and we were told this is the only option. And he gave us a 20 % discount.... I then say again ...and he was firm...20 % ummmm seriously are you kidding me you cant leave this place for under $40 for 4 people and we typically leave for $70 or more several times a week. Pizzas with inflation now must cost $5.00. Yeah we used to give them for free under these circumstances as managers. I am not about to go and pay a company good money often and lied to and forced to buy something I didnt order. Goodbye to you . I will make sure I let people know.

Im sure this is a nice place, but I dont think Ill be going a second time. I was there on a Sunday afternoon, not busy at all but for some reason it took them 15 minutes to take me to a table. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and I was not impressed, it hardly had any cheese and the fries felt like they had been sitting for a while so they were somewhat cold and rubbery, I also ordered a small Hawaiian pizza and the sauce tasted like canned sauce, they also put too much garlic powder in it. It too was cold and flavorless but the garlic was quite overwhelming. Theres really no excuse for such bad food since the reviews and pictures is what made me want to try this place. I guess if you go for drinks, the food wont be as bad but maybe youll have a better experience than I did. I didnt take any pictures as I was extremely disappointed and was not compelled to do so....

While many other restaurants close at 10 or 11 PM on Friday and Saturday nights, Texas Firehouse is opened until 2 AM. Our table shared fried jalapeños, cheese quesadillas, curly fries, lemon pepper zingers, and pizza. The fried jalapeños and quesadilla were delicious. This was the best cheese quesadilla Ive had from any restaurant. Its a must try. Everything was served hot and fresh, and it was a pleasant dining experience. Texas Firehouse is a busy, packed establishment. If thats not your thing, youll want to order to go. For those of us 21+: They make THE BEST Pickle Chiltons. Vegetarian options: My friend who is a vegetarian enjoyed the meatless pizza, cheese quesadilla, and curly fries.

We always go for Arian! but most if not all of the servers are great if you treat them well. Food is always good at medium price rangeand they will fix if any problems always. Drinks are pretty high but normal for a sports bar, they have some pretty experienced bartenders if youre picky. Just a reminder as a decent human being (Tip at least 15%... Youre cheap and dont deserve good service if you dont tip more. If you cant afford to eat out and tip--- Just hit up the grocery store)

I ate here the other night with my family because of their large variety of food and beers. While the beer was amazing, and the service was great-- Im pretty sure i got food poisoning. I had a salad (i think it was called the summer salad) and it was fine, except for the shrimp. My boyfriend got a margarita flatbread and it wasnt even a margarita flatbread by definition. It was just horrible mozzarella and unripened tomatoes. I dont even think there was basil on there. I ate two slices of it and it immediately made me feel sick. Him and I were sick for several days after that. Im going to give the benefit of the doubt though because everything else was nice. I could have just gone on a bad night.

I just had the chicken fried steak. I love chicken fried steak and have had it at many restaurants. I can say that this is the second worst I have ever had. I do not normally rate or review restaurants but felt this comment was a necessity. Chef, if you read this, your homemade CFS was not as advertised. The cube steak was not tender but grisly. The coating broke away from the steak like an eggshell and tasted like burnt oil and that was the only flavor it had. You need to work on this recipe. I told the waitress/bartender but she offered no recompense, only that she would tell the chef. I had not eaten since noon. It was 10:30 pm and I was hungry. I left hungry. I ate the side salad. Oh, and the fries were soggy. I do not live in Amarillo but if I did I would not return.

I loved this place, will definitely be going again. The server was amazing and attentive, she told us before hand how large their food portions were before we got anything. The only reason this place isnt five stars is because of the Long Island iced tea I got. One of my favorite things about going to new restaurant in Amarillo is trying their L. I. Teas. For me personally, theirs didnt measure up to what I like. It wasnt until after I put lemons in that I felt I liked it more.

Love the Texas firehouse sports bar! Especially in Tuesday with their buy one get one pizza! The only thing I wish they would change back is the beer of the month price. It used to be $1.50 for a pint now its $2.50 The buckets on Tuesday are $10 which is decent. They also have other weekly specials and happy hour specials. Friendly and attentive staff.
