Different. You walk in order then sit down. The food was good but they were out of alot of stuff. The beer comes from a cooler on the floor so its hit or miss if its cold. Prices are good for what you get.

Great place to stop on the road! We were traveling and decided to stop here for lunch. We were so glad we did! They had a special plate specifically for people on the Atkins and other keto diets, and it was great!! The BLT sandwich was excellent, and the onion rings outstanding!! The service was prompt and always smiling and friendly!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The portions are huge! Most importantly, the food is delicious!! I had the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy and green chile. Absolutely amazing. Definitely worth a trip here.

This place is pretty good, the ladies that served me were very nice, it didnt take too long for me to get my food, the atmosphere is perfect not too loud and obnoxious, the other customers are friendly and easy to talk to, but most importantly the food, the food is like it was cooked at home cuz it is home cooking the chili cheese dog special that they have I could tell was delicious, the chili cheese fries and bacon double cheeseburger is what I ordered and it almost broke my heart when I had to put it down so that I could drive safely cuz I was taking bite after bite after bite almost ran off the road shiit was so damn good it wouldnt even funny

I am so sad I havent been here before! I have lived here almost 18 years only recently tried this place. I have wasted the last 18 years!!!! The burgers are insanely delicious! The fries are perfectly cooked! The atmosphere gives off dive bar without being off putting. I love it and now I just want to go every chance I get.

I Love the atmosphere as I grew up in Texas and it s like going back in time. The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable even when my lil toddler was wanting to climb on the chairs. The portions were big and my chicken fried steak wudnt bad. I ll have to go back and try it again

This is an excellent place to eat. Those workers are busting their butts to get the food cooked every time I have been there. Everything tastes good. From the stew to the meats to the chili makes you come back for more. Great atmosphere! Such a friendly staff. We tip good to give our thank you back.

What a great find. Was delayed on a flight and stumbled on this great dive. Great service, awesome food. The owner is the one that preps the food, had the chicken fried steak and a jalapeño popper burger and cold beers. Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a unique experience.

Took me awhile to include this restaurant in my dinning list. Now, in hindsight, I wish I had prioritized my food options better. This restaurant foods flavors are old school. I love old school. My cheese burger at Cecils might have topped my 44 year ago memory of Jeffs Grand Burger. If you have a craving or a longing for an old fashioned Cheeseburger... Cecils Last Chance is where to go. The generational family operated restaurant is not shinny and new, but however, was clean and the current family owner Wendy was on hand to check with each table and to make sure all were pleased. For me their hours being short on weekdays and open at night only on Fridays is not an issue. Closed weekends. I cant wait to return and try more menu items.

This place is an incredible little dive spot!! We stopped in because we saw they were having a green chili stew special via social media and were leaving 100% satisfied! The stew is full of meat and green chilies and a perfect thickness, not watery like some places do it. Its spicy and served with tortillas, but we both ordered a grilled cheese as well. This grilled cheese reminded me exactly of the ones my mom used to make me growing up, they are deeeeeelicious! The waitress (whom I think may be the owner, not sure) was very sweet and gave us just the right attention and care and the place is VERY clean and was cooled well. It smelled strongly of fried food, but we werent bothered by it and will definitely be returning to try something new!

Their chicken fried steak is amazing. It has green chilies and just the right amount of heat. Huge portions that dont cost an arm and a leg. The few detractors are theyre often overwhelmed by huge crowds and so the wait is long. Plus, the soda is by the can and that is just old school. Not tons of seating so get there early before the crowd or face huge lines and nowhere to sit. But, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to eat.

I meet friends from a previous job there for lunch occasionally basically because its close to where they work. I usually take my own lunch or eat before I go. Its nice that Cecils lets me bring food in. I eat a very clean diet and the options there are very limited. But the service is great and everyone is very friendly and always eager to please.

Its an I-40 dive! Dark wood paneling; you can still smoke on the inside. But the food was very tasty and plentiful. My chicken, bacon, Swiss burger with fries was super satisfying!
