Ive been a patron since we built Huds. Never in my worst dream would I expect to get anything but the best because thats why I was still a dedicated patron until today. They got my breakfast burrito wrong 3 times in a row. They did give my money back. Since original owners sold the busines, the quality of the food has gone way down.

I ordered food. And when I was paying and getting my drink. There was 2 cooks arguing loud and cussing at one another. It didn t bother me as much. But they didn t seem to care enough to read the ticket to get my order correctly. they put tomatoes in it and mustard I m allergic to tomatoes and I asked for mayo only. we asked for med fries and got small and they put small in the system. I love this food but they need to pay more attention to the ticket when making the food. And care less about arguing more about making the food correctly. I was already home living far from the store to tell them to remake it. if this happens again. I ll make sure they get fired for it.

Tried Hud s for the 3rd and final time. I was craving a steak sandwich and onion rings and knew they had one so I gave it a go. The sandwich itself wasn t bad minus the terrible tomatoes and was the only item that was at least warm. The onion rings were a soggy, cold ball of greasiness with a lack of flavor. This was a large order of cheese sticks that were also cold with no offering of any condiment. The cherry limeade was okay but I know there s better. Also this is another establishment that has issues with napkins and condiments not being provided. On a positive note, the girl working the window was friendly and professional. (Didn t get a name.) This was the Amarillo Blvd and Coulter location. The search continues for a good steak sandwich.

Not bad food. Its huds. Its exactly what you would expect. Good eats on a budget. You get what you pay for. Only small little gripe would be food is always good but once in a while the food is great. Then the next time the food is just good again. Fries and tots could use a little longer in the fryer. Do I eat here from time to time? Yes. Do I plan on going back again? Of course.

I thought we would give it a try again. As soon as we walked in we stopped to look at the menu. Someone else that was with us asked if there was any coffee and the guy working looked over at the pot and said this is all we have. So we asked can we get some fresh coffee. He was hesitant so I told him show me where the coffee is and I ll make it. It ll take 5 minutes. First he didn t look like he wanted to be there and then looked upset to have to make coffee. What made me upset and the reason for the review is that the guy made a pot of tea instead of coffee on purpose. The food was okay my Philly could have been arranged and filled better. I was disappointed with the experience overall again. Not my favorite place and it s hard to recommend a place that has people that don t want to be there or people that don t know how to make a simple pot of coffee.

Well I ordered and they tried to give me a bag which was not my order. I sat there and saw them try to give a bag to someone behind me, they gave it back. Gave them another bag and they left. Tried to give a bag to the next one behind me, not the right order. Then they came back to me after what had to be 15 min or longer. It seemed a bit light and it was. Gave it back told them what was wrong and waited some more.. Finally got my order close enough to correct that I just accepted it. This whole process from when I got in line to order to leaving took about 40 mins. Hopefully I just caught them on a really rough day. I will say the burger and fries was decently tasty but nothing over the top. I will say they were polite but it wouldve made the process sting a little less if they had done something to try to compensate the hassle.

Stopped for a breakfast burrito. It and a coffee almost 10 bucks. The burrito said combo with 3 eggs but you have to surch to find any meat. I added potatoes and there might of been 4-5 in there. The hot sauce was tomato sauce. I was a little disappointed but ask you to try it since people have very different tastes when it comes to food.

I have been eating here for years (they use to memorize my order). Went here recently and asked for no onions. They gave me onions on my whole breakfast, when I brought it back to have re-maid, the man looked me in my eyes and said there arent onions in that box. I said open the box and find out. He got upset, takes the box opens a new box and proceeds to scrape the onions off and attempts to put my old onion invested food into new box right in front of me. With his hands. I told him to keep the food. This HUDS owes me money, as i did not eat there food. I was too grossed out to want to eat it. This place needs to raise there standards on how they treat customers and how food is prepped. If you mess up the order its your responsibility to fix it. Dont scrape onions off of food and attempt top give it back to the customer. Too many health code violations. Not like these people care. Like Im sure they dont care they owe me $8. That is why I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. especially when they owe me money.

I totally agree with comment above. Today we went and ordered 2 BLT, the menu says combos include fries and a drink. Was I charged $4.39 as is CLEARLY advertised? No, $18 and change. I asked the cashier why is is not 4.39......our register will not ring it up that way. Asked for manager, same answer. She took my ticket to the back. When she returned she was on the register, which I assumed she was refunding our money......NO. Gave us a 10% discount. thats all I can do she says.....................steak sandwich and burgers said the same thing about fries and a drink. Anyone else ran into this false advertisement situation? Would not have given one star but it will not let you post unless you choose.

I loved HUDS in high school. My last visit today might be the last as I was charged more than what the menu was priced. Then I had to wait in a drive-through line for 30 minutes, and I pulled up to the speaker as soon as I arrived. So I imagined the wait was far worse for others. My husband and I were traveling cross country and wanted a mom and pop type place for lunch. We came upon Huds. What a great find! I had the single burger combo and my husband had the grilled ham and cheese combo. It was great homemade food. The service was good, place was clean, and lunch for two was just under $20. *Mind you, Im the ONLY person in the drive through* it takes the cashier about a minute to come on the mic. She then reads back my order wrong twice so I proceed to the window. At the window she is on her phone taking pictures and playing around with other employees. She gives me a price that I know isnt right so I tell her once again I wanted a combination burrito. She agrees. After 10 min at the window the guy tries to hand me a box, which I know isnt a burrito. After some back and forth and another 5 min they hand me a burrito. Not surprised it was the worst put together and worst burrito Ive ever had from there. This is my go to, but will reconsider next time

Okay so in the defense of the restaurant we showed up at 7:50 thinking they close at 9 like it showed online but actually closed at 8 as we quickly found out. The food what just terrible. I got the chicken fried steak. It was a frozen meal patty. The gravy was worse. My helper got the Philly cheese steak. And all he could complain about was the liquid smoke used and how much was used.

I buy Philly steak sandwiches every Saturday totaling 20-30 dollars depending on 2 or 3 meals. Today an honest mistake was made and they gave me chicken sandwiches instead. Like I said, honest mistake, but then they turn around and ask for $1.34. I had to wait longer for the correct order, however in the process of charging me the difference, they have lost my business. I will find another place to have our Saturday meal ritual. I hope the $1.34 saved their profits. Horribly disappointed.
