Beautiful home now museum fully furnished from 1900 s. Very unique & great information provided about the house & history. The outdoor lawn is beautiful & spacious with easy walking to admire all the original historic architecture. Right in middle of old downtown Alvin, with easy walk to other attractions & great places to eat.

They put so much work in on this to create the perfect fathers day activity. Many activities for lots of fun. Ax throwing, corn hole, ladder games. Building hummingbird houses, pictures in a model T. Hot dogs and other food. Lots of door prizes... 10 am to 1 pm. $10 for the adults but so much for it. Visited on

Absolutely beautiful historical home! I made an appointment to view this cottage since Ive never seen the place in person, but Ive heard how nice it is. Its like taking a step back in time. Its not all original, but they have done their best to restore to the original era and use what was already in place. The craziest thing I learned was that this home was built from scrap wood found after the hurricane of 1900 in Galveston. Would highly recommend to make an appointment to visit or schedule a tea party for you and your closest friends.
