Highly disappointed. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich dinner and the best thing about it was the service. The beans and potatoes were severely undercooked. I salvaged the pulled pork with some extra bbq sauce I had in my truck. Texas best is definitely a stretch

Awesome place! If you like beef jerky they have a lot of different kinds. A little pricy for my taste. I came here to take a quick shower initially as I travel a lot, only to find out this truck stop has NO SHOWERS. Theres also a sonic inside and drive through window. Not too many stalls in restrooms, 3 to be exact. Thought since it was a truck stop there would be more areas.

Really cool place to stretch your legs on a long drive. Gas a modern general store feel to it with the little memorabilia items available. And small town items for sale. Very comfortable place. The people are courteous and helpful.

I chose a 2 slider plate. The pork slider was good. The brisket slider was dry and the meat near flaky. Each slider was no more than three bites. And the beans were not rich with bbq flavor. The squash were tasty and not overdone, though I found a produce label.

Best spot to get stranded with a flat. Came in to get out of the heat while we waited. Very inviting western atmosphere. We had a delicious tender brisket with neverending sides to choose from. Definitely a must try. Ive driven by here numerous times over the years and never got an opportunity to stop in. my opinion.... theyre living up to their name.

This stop is pretty cool. the indoors are decorated in a lavish wooden western style. It feels much more upscale than your normal truck/car stop. You have options of ordering Sonic or smoked BBQ from their local in-store restaurant. They have fancy handmade chocolates and fresh squeezed juices among some of the other normal things you might find at a convenience store. There is even a local brand carrying a variety of pickled vegetables, salsa, and jams. We were driving a bus and trailer so we had to utilize the truck parking. Driving into the truck parking lot was a bit of a beast. There was not much to the turn lane and it had a large crater in the road at the exact place one turns in. For truckers the only parking consists of one row that you must back into. Basically the parking is a bit tight. The parking lot is also a bit of a walk down a long ramp to get to the actual truck stop store. The regular car parking looked better and easier to navigate.

We stopped here on the way to Fort Worth. The womens restroom was clean. Great place to purchase souvenirs, even though they were a bit pricey. They had some great merch from clothing, jewelry, plushies, specialty soap and so much more. I purchased some amazing lotion it smells so good I use it everyday. It makes my skin so soft. Pics are below. I didnt give this place 5 stars because there was an issue with the cashier at the BBQ restaurant inside the store. Lets just say, make sure you pay attention when youre paying and youre getting the correct change back. Not everyone is honest. Besides that the customer service in the store area was excellent. Parking: Parking in front of the store, you can purchase gas as well.

Loved them from the first smell when we walked into the truck stop. We were greeted by 2 great guys working that made ordering fun. The Jalapeno Links and juicy pulled pork are really good smothered in BBQ sauce. There are sooo many sides to choose from, but the cucumber salad and mac & cheese were delicious.

Its inside the shell station which I think is very convenient the side orders are mediocre at best, their not bad. they are just average. Now on to the meat brisket had okay flavor but the show-stopper was that the brisket was cut with the grain so it made my sandwich feel like I was chewing on a ball of yarn!!!!! Come on guys , cut opposite the grain, thats brisket 101.

Im from South Texas and simply love all styles of barbecue and it took everything in me to not leave a review about this place and they really need to get rid of the people who are cooking here . This is the absolute WORST barbecue that Ive ever tasted hands down. Its been horrible for YEARS and not even close to Texas Best standard at all ! Ive experienced Texas Best in many different country towns from Tyler Texas to Mountain Creek in Dallas and I truly LOVE all of them, but location is pure garbage the cole slaw was even trash . The brisket is always dry and the bbq sauce to the beans is a hot mess . Please get rid of these people and bring in new management that can bring life into this restaurant. Thanks
