Went for happy hour with friends and adored it!! Great happy hours deals and food! However, they have got to throw out those fake flowers at the entrance. It cheapens the look....such an eye sore. A few ferns or anything else would make a world of difference.

I gave the manager the whole weekend to reach out to me. We came to dinner for my birthday. We had a reservation at 6:30. There was no one to sit us. We had to ask the bar after waiting by the door for the 30 min. Then we got a middle aged white female waitress that was clearly under the influence of pain medicine or perhaps heroin. At first we thought she was having a stroke, but that s how the entire 4 hours went. She was shaky, very confused, was bumping into furniture. After we signed the check, she came to us with bread that I guess we were supposed to get in the beginning. She spilled half of our drinks bringing them. We had 2 other waiters helping her out just for our table for 2. They all said she works too much and is tired, but her eyes were glazed over like was under the influence of something. We never got any specials or explanations of the menu. As we were leaving we saw 2 tables who had pasta that was cooked in front of the guests on the side of the table with a fire torch. If I would have known about this I would have certainly ordered it. The food was delicious, but I will never return. I ll be shocked if this restaurant location lasts more than another year. Very disappointing dinner.

Pretty bad experience. No flavoring in the food. My husbands pizza came out doughy and no flavor. Not sure how you mess up pizza that badly. I had chicken parm and the chicken was good but again, legit no flavoring in the sauce for my pasta. Other people at my table had undercooked food and no flavoring. Took way too long to come out and several people left with not even eating their food cuz it had to be redone and took another 20mins for it to come out. Not sure what the cooks were doing this night as it was pretty empty on a saturday evening. I felt bad for our server cuz things kept getting messed up which wasnt his fault but the cooks just not making anything correctly. This place needs to do better. Its a good concept but lacked execution.

This could be a really nice establishment if they were fully staffed. First time my food came out cold. Second time they ran out of ham so gave me extra bacon and deviled eggs (I dont eat them). The drinks were really good and our waiter was very apologetic and nice.

NO! Don t waste your time!! We came this past weekend. There is no one inside. It s dead and we saw why. We had several problems. An older white waiter said there s our Manager. He never came out. One Hispanic man who we were told was the Main manager, Looked at us rudely, he obviously doesn t know what he s doing. I m sure this is the reason this place is failing but I m sure the owners don t know it s because of this guy. We asked to speak to him and he never came out. I hope the real owners see this post. Reconsider this Hector guy, he is the reason your place is failing! Not the Waiters! Keep him around and I hope you see yall are failing! We got our days wrong originally. I work at a local law firm and got my days confused. I will stop by to ask for you on my way home soon. My Husband said it was not a Friday.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We came here last weekend, Horrible everything!! Our food took over one hour to arrive. There were flies flying around our drinks. We didn t even eat. A Manager didn t even come ask us what was wrong. Our waiter was worse, Sara smelled like cigarette smoke and was rude!! There was a roach crawling by our table. No one cares! We asked by the front door and the girl said they don t have a Manager right now? WOW! Don t go here. Don t waste your money or time.

My husband and I have been a couple times and sat at the bar, most recently for happy hour. Weve always received friendly service, and on the first visit got a complimentary tasting of their wines. I think they may be struggling due to lack of visibility and management/ownership changes, but hopefully they will get it sorted out. I definitely recommend going for Happy Hour, great specials and tasty food. The inside is beautiful- I agree with others - please remove the tacky fake flowers out front, the look diminishes curb appeal.

WTH...Stopped by this location on Saturday evening,to inquire about Sunday brunch this morning. No one came to the front, so we went to the bar. No one acknowledged us. I saw a worker watch us leave as she walked to the back...sad. Then reading some of the reviews, I guess it was a good thing...wont be returning.

I went on a Sunday to brunch with a friend. This review is to rave on the service. I had some challenges with the food and the taste on my pallete but the customer service was 5 star. I will need to give it a second chance and return for dinner. Ron is the general manager and he was great. He was extremely friendly and prided himself on providing excellent service! He went out of his way to ensure his guest were happy and attended to. DJ was the bartender and our server and he was also great. Even the hostess was pleasant and inviting. This place has amazing customer service. Its a beautiful setting and has a great ambiance. I would go back on just that premise alone.

I cant give an accurate review of the food because our waiter gave my order to someone else. Then they ran out of bell pepper apparently so I couldnt get my order. By the time the waiter told me they were out of bell pepper (30 min after he said he dropped my food off at another table), I decided I didnt want to eat anymore. No compensation of any sort.

Everything was great except the food. The Trio of Medallions was misleading - 3 filets of tiny bit sized steaks that they could ve just presented as one cut - and overpriced. The Spaghetti Al Formaggio Parmigiano was soggy and the whiskey literally did not evaporate. It was like eating a can of Spaghettios drenched in liquor The staff was extremely nice about the feedback so I m not sure if it was an off day.

My husband and I read the reviews and thought wed try this place for the first time on July 2nd. The exterior was weirdly adorned with faded copius amounts of fake flowers. The interior was stunning beyond compare. We ordered an appetizer which resorted to flecks of goat cheese hidden in a super bad red sauce and 6 burnt pieces of toast. Bleh. weird. (you should try to goat cheese appetizer at TruFire in Frisco - it will ruin you for anything else...) It was absolutely gross. My husband regrettably ordered the lobster ravioli - he ate about 4 of the raviolis and said it didnt taste right, but he was so hungry at 6:45pm, hed eaten more than he should... and he paid the price in the bathroom after - as it was BAD. I tried some rigatoni signature pasta, and the alfredo or cream sauce tasted decidedly OLD, like, leave it out for 4 days unrefrigerated or simmer it for 2 days and its not special, its decidedly gross, like... super duper not fresh amazing scrumptious, its the opposite. Its gross. The greasy flavorless italian sausage in the dish was - it just tasted like cardboard soaked in extra oily grease. We didnt know, but we were told we get two to go pasta dishes, so we chose a lasagna and I tried some different pasta dish that was like a white sauce, something with thick thick thick thick tubular spaghetti noodles and the same cruddy italian sausage ... (I didnt know it would be the same) and the same alfredo sauce. My husband literally took one bite of the lasagna and spat it out, he said the meat tasted old old old, and it smelled off. I tried to take a bite - but it was, there was something wrong with it. I took three bites of my weird huge thick spaghetti noodle dish - and it was no bueno. It was awful. So ... in two days... we had FOUR dishes from Goat And Vine in plano texas, and each was disgusting... like a literal $110 waste of inedible gross bad food. I see the reviews, its why we CHOSE to try this place. Weve been here 28 years, and there are just so many great new places to try all of the time... but sweet holy moses... four meals from one place and all four were disgusting. My husband literally had bathroom issues after the lobster ravioli. The food was awful. Likely because there were no customers, maybe 6 tables were occupied in the entire establishment - the food was bad bad. The interior gorgeous. But the food... bad bad bad... four meals there... all really really bad. GROSS. I would avoid this place at all costs... all $110 cost we tossed.

We went on a Saturday afternoon, it had a beautiful interior but we were quick to learn that looks can be very deceiving. The restaurant was very slow which was surprising because it was Father s Day weekend, but we were greeted by warm hosts, we requested to sit at the bar. So we proceeded to walk over, there were two other guest sat at the bartop it was 90 percent empty. The bartender came out from the back 6/7 minutes later(having had service industry experience, the standard is a 45 second quick greet) however we understood maybe he wasn t notified that there s new guests or whatever, but it s his responsibility to constantly check. He finally came out and we were met with the opposite of a warm welcome, he did not bother to introduce himself nor did he ask if it were our first time there(which it was) he rather persisted to get a drink order which is obviously imperative, but my colleague kindly said she will settle with water for the time being, he was visibly annoyed. I asked for a Pellegrino with a few limes on the side, he walked off and came back with just the Pellegrino, he then persisted to ask my colleague if she wanted a drink again , and this time she kindly declined. Before he strolled off I stopped him in his stride and asked for the limes I initially clearly asked for, for the second time. He then walked over to the POS screen to punch in an order for one of the other guests while simultaneously wiping his nose which seemed like an unconscious mannerism, supposedly. He then walked over to the drink station to grab a handful of limes with his bare hands , and walked across the bar with the limes in his hands and chucked them on a plate and cast that plate beside my glass. Having not offered to pour my tall bottle of Pellegrino into the wine glass(poor serving etiquette) I proceeded to pour it for myself. I had the decency to squeeze the juice into the glass feeling hesitant to put the whole lime in the glass, I m not a germaphobe or anything but if someone is pressing a dirty screen and wiping their nose would you take something from their hands? We were now ready to start with an appetizer so we asked to split their Caesar salad and get the two cups of lobster bisque. He wrote down our orders and then went to go punch them in, threw the pen as soon as he arrived at the screen. The salads came out 10 minutes later(5-8 minutes industry standard) because the kitchen was supposedly backed up by the big party outside, it was just an 8 top it was one of two tables present in the whole restaurant I just laughed it off and took the situation as it was , because we understand things happen. The salads came out and were actually pretty tasty, the soup came out five minutes later microwaved so hot I burnt my tongue, I m not going to complain- rather piping hot soup than cold soup. We were then ready to order a mushroom pizza to share , he then told us that the restaurant was out of pizza dough so therefore they had no pizzas at all, again we understood. Already turned off by a plethora of all these things, we contemplated if it was even worth investing another dollar into this dining experience, we decided that it was not worth it. We are also black and were not dressed in a high upper echelon manner, perhaps maybe THATS what underlied the elderly white mans behavior was driven by an unfortunate stereotype. But that s never a reason to mistreat a stranger you know nothing about, especially as a representative of what we assumed was a highly esteemed restaurant. The wine list is simple and concise , not as elaborative as I would imagine for a winery . All in all , wouldn t see why I would go out of my way to dine here again. Maybe in different skin and dressed differently, which is appalling. It was very disappointing for my colleague too . We still left him 15% in cash tip .

I discovered this hidden gem while looking for a new place to dine in Plano. On a Tuesday evening, my husband and I had the pleasure of dining there with another couple. As we entered, Ron, the manager, graciously guided us to our seats, which provided a perfect view of the entire restaurant. For our appetizers, we indulged in the delicious arancini and crab cakes. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful, but my personal favorite was the crab cakes. As for the main course, I opted for the flat iron steak accompanied by potatoes, and it was just as delightful as the appetizers. My husband and our friend decided to try the lasagna, which proved to be a satisfying choice, generously portioned to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. Throughout our dining experience, the service was prompt and attentive, further enhancing our overall enjoyment.

This being in our neighborhood and that we can walk is such a gem. It s a beautiful place and the food is delicious. We ve been several times but last night we ordered two martinis which came in oversized glasses for the cocktail which also were not great . We don t normally complain and just mentioned it to our server . It was her first day so we told her to mention it to the owner . She also had a difficult table outside and our 2 top on the opposite side of the restaurant . It was obvious she was overwhelmed so service wasn t up to par . I d say this was due to lack of training and not her fault . This is not an inexpensive restaurant and this is our first time we re been a little disappointed . We ll be back to try again . Change the martini glasses and train the bartender to make a good one and don t give your server tables on opposite sides of the restaurant ?

Absolutely love this restaurant. My first time going, and me and my sisters had a blast! The Italian Crab Cakes were so delicious as the appetizer, with just the right amount Pepper Cole Slaw and crab meat. They were out of the Lobster Ravioli, so I selected the Pappardelle Bolognese. One of my sisters thats been there before described how a Caesar salad was made there in the past, but our waiter told us they no longer sold it that way, and that was sad news. They should bring back the way they used to make it, where it was a huge Romaine leaf was possibly lightly baked, and all the the Caesar salad fixings lay on top of that. I would have loved to try a salad that way! But nonetheless, the dishes were all superb. Wonderful chef! And to Daniel, our waiter, thank you so much for being attentive, suggestive and persuasive when it came to menu choices of dishes Ive never tried! Ill be back!

I had the pasta alla carbonara and would recommend if youre looking for a simple something where you can really taste for each ingredient within the dish :) Yummy! My friend and I also tried their crispy brussels sprouts, but the ones we got were extra crispy and bitter from how burnt they were. The ones we received were a lot darker than the one they show on their website though, so it could have just been a rough day! Just a bummer because I was really looking forward to them and love brussels sprouts :( It happens. The workers here are amazing. The host is very friendly and welcoming, while the servers are super helpful and polite. Some other workers we talked to were super sweet and funny. The location itself is nice and the restaurant does look pretty. The hostess and server were both sweet. There were some red flags right at the beginning. When my group first arrived there was a commotion and we checked in and waited outside. As we were waiting to enter, the police escorted a nice group of people out due to not following the brunch package per person rule. They told our group to not eat here due to the manager being racist. Of course, we still entered as we had a birthday celebration planned. We were in no hurry, but whenever we did place an order, it took 20 or more minutes just to receive our drinks. This seemed really long since they were not busy. When we ordered drinks, our cocktail glasses all had lipstick stains on them and we had to get them changed out. I ordered the steak and eggs which was room temperature by the time it had reached me. When we finished, we paid and the hostess aided us in taking a group photo outside when another pair of guests came out asking for the managers name and made claims of her being racist as well. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone I know and would suggest going to another location or another restaurant completely.

The summary of our HORRIFYING experience at Goat and Vine has been stated below. As stated before, our party had 3 people order the brunch package while the additional 5 were ordering a la carte. We were targeted immediately by the Manager, Courtney, as she condescendingly approached our table to inform us that she would be charging everyone the brunch package. This was after we informed her that we specifically asked if we all had to order the package and our server said no. And it wasn t stated in the menu. We let her know that if the menu needed to be updated to reflect this or her staff needs training, then maybe that is something that should be addressed but it was unethical to try to change our order after we already received part of our order. Courtney appeared agitated and returned to our table a SECOND time to force us to change our order again! After we let her know that we wouldn t, she was furious but told us they would honor it this time. It was a complete surprise when she returned with the Plano police and stated that we should leave for failure to pay our bill! Our food was still being served, how could we fail to pay our bill?? As business owners ourselves, we were appalled by this treatment of customers by a manager. She handled the situation poorly, unethically, and illegally! Filing a false report because your ego is bruised is not good business practice. Judging from previous reviews, the management team needs a complete overhaul. We asked for the contact information for the owner, Paul. He has been contacted and we have not received a response! Additional platforms will be contacted about this restaurant and our treatment.

WHAT A HORRIBLE, TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE AT GOAT AND VINE (PLANO)! I have never, ever received treatment from restaurant staff like what I experienced from Courtney (the Manager) this past weekend. Three of the 8 people in our party opted to purchase a package that included unlimited starters, while the rest did not. Two different servers knew this and assured us each person in the party wasnt required to do purchase the package. Courtney visited our table the 1st time and asked us if we had questions about the packages... we told her we did not, our questions had been answered by our waiters and we had already placed our orders. She said each person hadnt ordered a brunch package so she was going to be changing our orders to reflect packages for each individual at the table. We told her that wasnt what our waiters shared with us, nor is that stated in the menu. She left our table, clearly annoyed, but seemingly fine with honoring what our waiters told us. About 15 minutes later, she returns to our table for a SECOND TIME, this time very agitated and held the menus in front of our faces as she attempted to explain that the menu said something it clearly did not say. We again informed her that our waiters did not tell us we were breaking any rules and we should not be penalized for that.... her last words to us were We will honor what was told to you this time, but know that in the future, each person in the party will be required to purchase a package. We thought the ordeal was finally over and we would be able to get back to our fellowship with friends. About 15-20 minutes after Courtneys 2nd visit to our table, she comes back to our table with two Plano police officers in tow and asks us to leave the restaurant!!!!! Never did Courtney indicate there was still a problem, never did she indicate she was going to be calling the police to have us removed... in fact, food and drinks were delivered to our table literally seconds before Courtney approached us with the officers!!!! We were in a state of COMPLETE SHOCK AND UTTER DISBELIEF!!! The Plano officers were kind and explained Courtney called them to report our group for refusal to pay and trespassing. WE NEVER RECEIVED A BILL!!! So, how could we have refused to pay? We were NEVER ASKED TO LEAVE, so how could we have trespassed? This poor treatment of customers appears to be the norm at Goat and Vine.... We will NEVER cross the threshold of a Goat and Vine restaurant again and will be filing complaints with appropriate hospitality and business compliance agencies. DO NOT FREQUENT GOAT AND VINE! You will regret it!!! (KEEP READING THE REVIEWS!)

Our party of 8 settled into Goat & Vine Plano on 5/5/24 for a brunch filled with laughter, good eats, and fellowship. As only 3 of our 8 were interested in unlimited appetizers and unlimited beverages we inquired specifically if all at our table had to purchase the package if only a few were interested. We were told by two pleasant and customer service-oriented waiters that all at the table did NOT have to purchase the package for few to enjoy. About 15 minutes into appetizers, Courtney the manager approached the table and opened her conversation with, I understand you had questions about our brunch packages . We quickly explained that we understood the menu perfectly and had clarified our order with two waiters who had no objection. She stated You misunderstood because if one person at the table orders a package you all must pay for the package so I will change your order and bill to reflect that correction . It was clear that Courtney s issue was with the unclear language in the menu and the training of her wait staff. She returned 10 minutes later and her agitation was more heightened. She held the menu close to our faces and began to gesture to the same language in the menu that we had questioned insulting our collective intelligence and insinuating that we were unable to read the English menu. We again explained that we understood the menu perfectly, that the opportunity was most likely in printing clearer menus and reinforcing that message by educating her wait staff. As she became more agitated and less conciliatory, I asked for the contact information of her manager. She promised to bring us Paul (her manager s) card. Her last words at our table were, We will honor this misunderstanding this time; but for future visits you need to understand that all have to pay the brunch package rates at the table if any choose to. As the entrees hit our table, we were surprised to observe 2 Plano Police Officers approach the table accompanied by Courtney. Courtney (smugly) stated, We are going to have to ask you to leave. Not once did Courtney communicate that she would be escalating the situation at her last visit to the table and had in fact stated that our understanding of the menu would be honored. The professional Plano Police Officers who walked with us out of the building communicated that Courtney s official complaint lodged with the police was trespassing and refusal to pay . The officers listened to our explanation that 1. We had not received a bill thus no refusal to pay was possible and 2. We had not been asked to leave, so no trespassing was possible either. We were provided with the Police Report # (to which we are awaiting a copy of the report in order to obtain Courtney s last name) and many apologies for the treatment by the Plano police department. We have called Courtney s manager (Paul Marrin) on multiple occasions to gain better understanding of the context behind Courtney s actions but have received no response to date. We are entering complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Plano Police Department (false reporting), compliance complaint with Texas DSHS, discrimination complaint with Texas HHS, service complaint with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, and are alerting every news outlet/blogger in the DFW market about our experience at Goat and Vine Plano. Perhaps one of these agencies and interested parties can help us to determine if Courtney s actions on 5/5/24 were justified while we wait for Paul Marrin to return our calls. Until then our advice is that you not frequent Goat & Vine Plano (or any of the owned subsidiaries of WeEat Hospitality Group).

My entire visit was chaotic and nothing went smoothly. Before entering, a group was being escorted out by police for not following the brunch package per person rule. Then, our table was not ready for our reserved time. It was not busy, yet we were sat 20 minutes after the reservation. It took 20 more minute to get our drinks after ordering them and all of the cocktail glasses had old lipstick prints on them. Multiple guests exited the building claiming the manager is racist. The host was respectful and claimed to quit soon, so I wish only the best for her. Overall, the customer service was unprofessional and neglectful. I highly recommend going to the Fairview location instead.

We started with zucchini chips and the meatballs. My father ordered the short rib risotto both of my adult children ordered each a Table side, spaghetti Al Formaggio Maggio parmigiano, there was a margarita pizza and I had spaghetti Primavera. We had a glass of wine, a beer and 2 specialty drinks. All drinks took at least 20 minutes to arrive. Bread took over 30 minutes and we had to ask another server to bring it. It took over an hour and 10 minutes before the food arrived and we had to ask about it. The server made multiple comments about beating up staff to get our drinks and food in a joking way but we were past joking , just hungry and not amused at this point. We were to receive free meals per the menu with what we ordered. We asked for lasagna. We did not get that . Only received our leftovers mixed up. We came for my sons 26th birthday and my daughters 23rd birthday. This was a disaster Over charged for the experience and the service. No dessert offered and yet everyone on the other side of the restaurant seemed to have a GREAT time Never will we come back again. The suggestions the server gave such as this location is just slower than the others. Maybe go to another one to get better service is not what we want to hear when paying what we did for dinner. Just do your job It is why we came out for dinner

I am truly at a loss of words with our experience last night. I have never experienced service this bad! We had a large party come in with reservations for 7 that had been planned far prior to this day! We get seated and have no water for about 30-40 minutes. We Waited over an hour for our tables drinks, finally order food waited over 1 hour and a half for our food! At this time our table was noticeably annoyed and in need of water & drink refills. After the food had finally arrived RIGHT! We wanted our checks asap to which we waited over ANOTHER HOUR for our checks and The server asked everyone to help her split up the checks which our table did. All while our server and table clearly were in need of help, The manager clay was laughing cutting up and chilling at the bar Doing absolutely nothing to help the situation. One of the guys in our party got onto to the manager for sitting there and not helping our server to which the manager clay comes back with passive aggressive rude insults toward a paying customer with one of the comments saying do you think I know your tables orders to get yalls check instead of finding a solution to the problem he was most definitely escalating the issue trying to assert his dominance instead of being a manager. At this time our table had been sitting waiting 4 HOURS in total! Of course we were outraged with the managers responses and the way things were handled for how much our table was paying. The manager clay needs to be fired! He is Absolutely so unprofessional rude and a complete prick. Long story short at the end of the night the birthday girl was apologizing to the entire party for having her birthday dinner here! We Will not ever be back or recommend this place to anyone. Horrible service & even worse management.

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE service and Managment! Not our server Sam s fault! It was 100% managements fault! Clay the manager is a total nimrod and doesn t deserve to be a manager! He did not help his staff one bit knowing they were struggling to take care of a 15 top table that we were apart of for a birthday party! Which they did not bring out any birthday dessert We waited an hour for our drinks, then waited an hour for our meal, then waited an hour for our checks and clay the manager was hiding out in the kitchen and cracking jokes up at the bar! He was more interested in arguing with his customers about our complaints rather than finding a solution to them. Unacceptable, unprofessional, and rude. That s the FIRST and LAST time I step foot in there!

Goat and Vine needs to get over itself. 1:30 reservation on Easter -no problem. Got seated, waiter - Billy - eventually came by to take our drink order. Dining room almost empty at this point. 30 minutes later, came back with our two mimosas and a Screwed mimosa. We ordered the Pastry Board as a starter. One chocolate muffin, one apple danish; one croissant and a scone. Oddly arranged on a board. 15.00. Two omelettes and an eggplant Benedict ordered - more than 30 minutes to get the food., at this time dining room empty but for two other tables. Waiter was MIA. Finally flagged him down for more coffee. Not once did he come back and check on us. Later he apologized after we said something about the poor service. Said it was because the patio was busy. Not my problem, you don t ignore your table inside. 142.00 later - never again for food that you can get for 50.00 less at any brunch establishment in Dallas.

This is a prime example of when I say I will not be silenced when it comes to discrimination. Black people are top consumers in this country, yet in 2024 still treated as second rate citizens. This restaurant will never see my dollars or will I recommend it to anyone I know locally. No stars would be more appropriate for the experience we had at Goat and Vine! Menu is basic. They have a goat cheese appetizer that may speak to the name. Decor was beautiful but I dont pay a $275 plus for a restaurants interior. Im looking for the monetarily worthy pleasant experience and for my taste buds to be impressed. Customer service was atrocious! We had a reservation and were sat in the back near the kitchen where you can hear all kitchen activities. We sat and waited for waitstaff. No one wanted to wait on us, the hostess argued with the bartender on us being waited on. I know the statistics and what people feel when they see us coming.

Once we sat we had a good server but was very busy, we ordered octopus which was very nice then we ordered a ribeye by the way quite pricey so we were expecting great quality. When it came we had no cutlery and the ribeye was cooked at the wrong temperature. We sent it back, no apologies and a bit of a wait to get the new steak. Overall not a great experience, we won t be going back, so sad as the place is beautiful. The staff is not trained at all.

Great decor, food was pretty good, however the front of house management and staff was very poor. We had a reservation, showed up on time and the hostess said 5 minutes for our table. 2 inquiries and 30 minutes later, we got our table. She forgot we were there! Our waiter was ok, but seemed resigned to the fact that lots of issues happen there. Our steak was ordered medium rare, came out well. No apologies, just replace it in ~ 15 minutes with a decent steak cooked as we liked it. Again, it felt like they see this often. The manager was dressed very casually and treated us the same. Birthday dinner party for a friend ended on a very bad note bc after 6 of us got together for a friends 45th bday, we ordered a lot of food and drinks on a night when a waiter walked out of his job so they were understaffed. We were very accommodating to the situation and understanding w service being slow- there was only one waitress CHELSEA working that night and she had the nerve to call the Plano cops on us bc we drank??? None of us were drunk. We were all having a great time on a MONDAY night and we had tipped generously only to find out that she had turned around and called the cops, to see us get in our cars. She pretended to do us a favor by taking a group photo out in the patio but it was to see who was getting in what car so she can tell the police. HORRIBLE girl w management and staff. Have an eye for real criminals not your customers who paid a lot for your living expenses sweetie. NEVER going there again and I have told this story on all social media. Go there for cheap wines and cheap wait staff. Actually Im writing this review 10 months later- this was last April to be exact and it WAS Chelsea ( light colored black young girl w light curly hair) and I also have a pic of her from the group photos.

Mussels were cooked perfectly and had a delicious light cream-based broth. Lobster ravioli was a disappointment. Didn t taste like lobster or even crab. No offer for Parmesan which was surprising. Spinach that came with ravioli was a little heavy on the salt. Minestrone soup was excellent. Had an ever slight kick to it. Caprese salad was meh. Could have used more basil, a little salt, and a little more basalmic vinegar. Mozzarella seemed drier than I would expect for fresh mozzarella, like maybe salad was pre-made and stuck in fridge. It had heirloom tomatoes that looked pretty but not much tomato flavor. Adam was an excellent waiter. Manager visited our table. We will come back for another try.

Wines are only private label, which means a very limited selection for a restaurant with vines in the name. Wait staff was OK, although the manager was highly attentive and very knowledgeable. The wines were average at best (I m a wine snob) and the dishes were just OK. Goat cheese appetizer was too rich, panko chicken was C- and the pasta dish was also C-. We had the Fritto, which is a combination of fried seafood. It was very over cooked and dry-we had to send it back. Mussles were the replacement-very mediocre, lack of lemon and seasoning. Entrees chicken parmigiana-also very bland, I mean like for someone on a no salt diet. Kate our bartender did an excellent job and she carried the whole from staff. I love her service, everything else was underwhelming. I wouldn t eat here a second time.

Goat & Vine is easily one My Top 5 spots here in the DFW now! This particular location was in Plano, TX! Everything was absolutely astonishing! I love a good experience especially when its aesthetically pleasing to the eye! From the ambiance, the service & the food just topped it off!! They make their Pastas IN HOUSE & This was My 1st Table Side experience & I was not disappointed! Everything down to the Garlic Butter Spread for the Table Sourdough Bread(which was absolutely amazing... & I normally dont even eat the bread at the table!), The Red Wine Blend was very delightful! & The of the night was the Spaghetti Al Formaggio Parmigiano! Which was the San Marzano Sauce, Basil, Flambeed Whiskey in a Parmigiano Reggiano Wheel Made Tableside with the Charred Broccolini! I was a happy woman!! I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and we cannot wait to go back you all get 10 s from me! Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options!

Let me start off my saying our server, Stewart, was amazing and the reason for the two stars. The place is beautiful but when I walked in I was hit with a strong smell of either sewer or dirty mop water, if not both. Because, I was hungry and knew we would have a long wait if we went some place else we gave it a try, but shouldve probably left. The brunch punch was cute and tasty, but the food was below subpar despite having a pretty presentation. The Creme Brulee French Toast was simply French bread with butter that was lightly toasted on the griddle and placed in a plate full of whipped cream and then drizzled with blueberry puree. The southwestern omelet really wasnt that, but it was two eggs with sausage and a fourth of an avocado slice placed on top. The bacon served to us tasted as if it was spoiled. The tall man that holds the title of the manager should not be a manager as he lacks basic customer service skills. He was very combative and not accomodating at all. He argued with us about how the bacon tasted. Nevertheless, if youre looking for a good photo opportunity this is the place but DONT show up hungry.

The interior is nice, the service is great, and the food and drinks are great. The interior was very nice. I couldnt help but want to take a photo. The waiter in charge worked very hard. However, coordination with other staff members was poor, and the fireworks for the celebratory dessert came out later. When I was writing this on Saturday night, the main dishes were out of stock. The food has a nice variety. The bread that comes out first and the butter that comes with the set are excellent and very delicious. The pasta was very bland. The production was wonderful, with a large barrel of cheese being brought in to complete the meal. However, all the pastas were mediocre. . I got the impression that many of the items had a poor taste.

We walked in at 10:30am on a Sunday. There was not one patron in the place. The ladies at the hostess stand would not seat us because they had reservations starting at 11. We told them we weren t wanting to stay long (maybe 45 min or so). But nope. They wouldn t seat us. THERE WAS LITERALLY NO ONE in the restaurant. No way did they take 50 reservations for 11am. How poorly are you running this restaurant if you can t take a single walk in table when there is no one else there? We will never be back.

Read the whole review: it s not all good. The pros: wine was delicious, the bartender was fantastic, the muscles were outrageously good, my wife s meal was good too (albeit overpriced). The cons: you re not getting what the prices would make you believe you re getting. More detail below: The bread was slow to come out because it was in the oven. When it came out the inside was cold meaning this was clearly frozen. Looking at the menu, it s obvious they use the same item staples (I.e. meatballs, sauce) for a few dishes on the menu. Alone this is fine but when taking into account the prices, it s wrong. Also, the service we had was pretty terrible. It seemed obvious that the staff knew our waiter needed to improve. Our table was positioned right next to the kitchen and it seemed like they were STRUGGLING back there. The restaurant was only half full too!

Went. this past Sunday abs sat at the bar, there were 3 others sitting there as well. We waited quite awhile, the bartender looked directly at us twice but never once were we acknowledged. He finally cane over and asked if we needed menus, we said a glass of wine no food. We were given food menus and never saw him again. We left after 15 minutes and informed the hostess that it was hard to get service..she shrugged her shoulders and kept drinking her glass of water... Ill never go there again.

They have a lot of sweet options for brunch I wish they would have more protein filled meals. We were a big party of 9. They couldn t set us at the big tables since they were reserved. Even tho neither of the 2 groups never showed up. I guess that means they put more weight on reservations

Goat and Vine restaurant in Plano is a stunning and highly Instagrammable spot in North Dallas. We went there for brunch; tried a charcuterie board, pancakes, avocado toast, and a dessert tower. The charcuterie board impressed with its flavorful meats and cheeses. The pancakes were fluffy and topped with delicious maple syrup. The avocado toast featured creamy avocado on perfectly toasted bread. The dessert tower showcased a variety of delightful sweet treats. Overall, Goat and Vine offers a delightful dining experience with beautiful decor and delicious food. Its a must-visit for food enthusiasts and those seeking Instagram-worthy photos.

First time for dinner and it s our last time. Made reservations for 2 and when we got there, they gave us small table. We requested a bigger table and their answer was we are fully reserved. At 7:15pm they had only 6-7 tables occupied among 30+ tables. We left at 8:45pm and still none of the empty tables were occupied. So if you don t have a reservation, then what s the issue on giving a bigger table so that PAYING customers can enjoy their dinner instead of feeling cramped. Now next thing was very strange. They turned off air at 8pm. It s still 90 outside and you are still in your operating hours. When asked, waiter replied they don t have control over it and the owner cuts the a/c around this time to save on electricity bill. Lastly, restaurant name has vine which leads us to assume they have good wines. However, this is not the case. Their wines are their own label/bottled wine and taste like bottom shelf discount wines. If you are looking for a good food, wines, and air conditioned restaurants then try Sixty Vines which actually have good wines.

My wife and just went to this restaurant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We both ordered the chillin sea bass, the size blew me away, it was 1 wide 1 tall by 3 long, for $ 48, they only have 6 types of wine. I would have thought due to the name, they would have a much better selection. Service was just okay. Definitely not worth the money.

When brought to manager attention, he seemed annoyed that we were asking for what the update on our order was and wasnt very helpful at all. We finally got our food 10min after the fact. We paid for our meal, tipped, and left. May be back just for the drinks.

The manager Alex I thought was so nice turnt out to be unethical. Me and my father left the establishment happy and full and spent well over $100. We had a great waiter Savannah. We purchased a wine bottle and they gave us a paper bag. I take the paper bag and walk to my car and the bottle falls right through the bag. I ask for help and if there is anything they can do about the lissue, since I just paid $40 for a wine bottle, and the manager Alex tells me, this conversation is going to end here and Im not replacing the wine bottle. After he just preach about customer appreciation and how he valued his customers, it seem like he was not being genuine about his statements. I told him I felt like an undervalued customer and he said sorry Im not replacing the bottle the conversation is at an end. I am a manager in a retail establishment and I felt like this was handle very unprofessional and I am disappointed in Alex. He showed no sympathy or concern for the issue that came about. I am very upset with the customer service and will never be back again.
