The best sushi you will ever eat! I love the staff here, Frank and Jane are always so welcoming! The food is fantastic! I usually get the Razen roll or Fusion roll. I ve been coming here for months and I haven t ate sushi anywhere else. Trust me, you ll love it here! They re wonderful people!

Spin Sushi is the best small, quick spot for a sushi fix! My favorite roll is the citrus salmon- I feel like such a health queen when I order it. Frank, the owner, is so awesome and personable. This is such a convenient spot for people who live right off the tollway! Love it.

Some of the best sushi Ive ever had! The citrus salmon roll has intestinely clean and crisp flavors that are so delicious! I also had the hamachi & scallions with shiso in a hand roll. This, too, was so fresh and delicious, and the nori was extra crisp, as it should be! Love it! I met the owner, who is very pleasant and took a few moments to chat. Very nice. They are doing a spectacular job at Spin Sushi, and I really cant wait to have time to go back!

We have been going to Spin for over 2 years now. We go about once a week unless we are out of town, and its always the first place we want to go when we get back from a trip. We take everyone that comes to visit us from different states there. I am originally from Washington, we had a lot of great sushi places on the coast, none of them measure up. The citrus salmon roll and The spicy edame are my favorites (theyre what got me hooked on this place to begin with). There isnt a bad thing on the menu, and i know because we have tried it all. The owner, Frank, and all his staff are the nicest people. Youll feel right at home. Kid-friendliness: Our kids wont eat sushi so they make teriyaki chicken amd rice for them. My kids love it so much they wont eat it from anywhere else now.

Our favorite local take-home sushi place. They are especially great at fried options. We order Tempura and the Crunch Roll on the way home from work each week and its ALWAYS hot and crispy when we sit down to eat. Im not sure how they are able to keep it from getting soggy, but they do every time! Yummy!

Writing this as I enjoy a couple of amazing rolls from Spin Sushi. Dont be alarmed with the small location, Frank the owner here definitely knows what he is doing. Stopped by on a whim after seeing they were open and so glad I did, the food is excellent and I can be pretty picky with sushi. 100% will return to see what other gems I can find on the menu. Hopefully Allen will allow his food truck to operate soon as this quality needs to reach more people.

This would ve been a 4 star experience but when I paid for an $11 mixed shrimp and veggie tempura basket there was only ONE shrimp. When I brought this up To the employee he said this was standard practice and refused to give me any extra shrimps . They also charge u for sauce lol. They also have more vegan and gluten-free options which is nice. Amazing. Came back again and it was somehow even more fresh. Spin Sushi is my all-time favorite sushi spot. Not only is Frank, the chef and owner, the kindest and most fun person, but he makes AMAZING food. The service is great. The James Dean roll, pork gyoza, spicy garlic edamame, and bacon kimchi fried rice are among my favorite things. The McDermott roll and sashimi bowl are also so delicious, but honestly you cant go wrong with anything you try. Their service is fast, and the quality never fails. It is always top notch here. Poor service. When asking for more ginger for 2 people, they told us it would cost more, yet it was the same portion one would get for one person in a $5 Kroger/Market Street roll box. We also got asked if it was our first time eating sushi, instead they could of offered good suggestions. For the price I would of rather not gone here. It looked unclean as well and just unappealing to the eye. You could see past the back curtain where there seems to be tattered and rotted baseboards (possibly water damage/molded). The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the appetizer bacon, kimchi fried rice was very tasty. But thats really the only positive I have to say on the matter. Although the size is not an appetizer size. More of what you get on the side when going to a hibachi when you get rice. This item was the only recommended appetizer for size proportions as well. They would/may do well as a food truck. But thats about it.

Ordered the dynamite roll and the spicy tuna roll. The dynamite roll was tasty but was huge and made with far too much rice vs roll! The spicy tuna roll tasted like some of the sushi rolls in Monterrey Mexico. There was too much of acidic taste to the roll.

I regret getting take out from here tonight. Ive been here once before and thought it was OK enough to return, but nope. The avocado that was used was brown and not appetizing (see picture). The fushion roll also had old/browned avocado (and it was not from the sauce). The sushi rice was hard too. I wish my dinner was better tonight, I couldnt finish it.

This was my first time ordering from Spin Sushi and I was a little skeptical. But the food was exceptionally tasty. There are very few Sushi places that get the right balance of flavor and texture and Spin Sushi is one of them. If you are trying to decide between Spin Sushi and somewhere else, go to Spin Sushi. This food is better than the master sushi chef food I was served in Reunion Tower. It is on par with sushi I had while in Japan. The prices are extremely fair for the quality of food you get, and I would argue that they are easily underselling themselves. The staff is the friendliest that Ive experienced in a long time. Every time I go, I get the McDermott roll and fried gyoza. My fiance gets the veggie roll and spicy garlic edamame. I only wish they had some type of loyalty or reward program for return visitors, because I literally cannot stop eating here.

During this Pandemic this place refuses my request for curbside pickup. When I requested curbside pick up, the lady who answered my call was upset because she said she is too busy. Anyways, I expected better customer service based on lots of great reviews about this place. Rolls were ok if you like heavy sauce in your rolls. Great family owned business and amazing sushi rolls! Very creative and tasty sushi. Very polite and great staff and customer service. One of the best spots in the area for authentic amazing sushi. The owner Frank has been a sushi chef for many years and coming from Northern California bringing the authenticity and flavors to Texas is a great treat of what you will find here at Spin Sushi!

Spin Sushi is an easy 5-Star Sushi place. Restaurant is welcoming, clean, and the majority of the food is prepared right in front of you. The staff has always been courteous and very accommodating. The food is more fusion than anything else, but they have traditional rolls for the sushi purists. Takeout orders are relatively easy to place and they are always on time with their anticipated completion times. The 5th star is their x-factor and that is the owner is always asking what they can do better. He truly cares and it shows in the quality of the food they produce.

It goes without saying, this little Shop cranks out some seriously good sushi. We had four different signature rolls and not a single one disappointed in any way. Frank and his staff do a wonderful job of offering high quality fun adaptations on sushi and making it look damn good and extremely approachable to those lacking in chopstick finesse. We hung out until we realized it was after close and we also ended up trying the Mochi ice cream which was fantastic. Im picky with coffee ice cream and this one was very good. I would seriously recommend this place every single time. Ill be back for sure!

Ive been following Frank and Spin Sushi since their food truck days and let me tell you, Spin has some of the best food around. Their sushi is top notch, but even more importantly than that the environment is open and friendly. Frank accommodates all of his customers and makes you feel like family.
