Tacos are great. Honestly, if you don t consider this authentic your expectations are set wrong. My only complaint and the reason why I don t visit as much is because on google it states 7 pm closing time and I have seen these guys close as early as 4:30 pm. This is just wrong when You re taking time to drive there only to find the location closed or to be told they re no longer accepting order and is barely 5 or 5:30 pm. Management, please, please take care of this problem as is costing you business!

This place needs more business. You will not be disappointed. The quesadillas are phenomenal. Some of the best tortillas Ive ever had. Go eat here right now! 2023 Update: This place is still the best authentic Mexican food in town. Their burritos are so much better than the El Grande Burrito across the street. I can t say enough about the Chuleta and Pastor meats. These wonderful ladies are incredibly nice and efficient too. Y all keep doing what you re doing!

READ EDIT AT BOTTOM PEANUT ALLERGY BEWARE: they use peanuts in their red salsa and do not disclose on their menu. I have a deadly allergy and was hospitalized over night. Now I ask at every Mexican restaurant I go to if they put peanuts in their salsa and everyone looks at me like I m crazy for even asking. EDIT: The response from the owner is simply not true, nowhere on the menu does it disclose peanuts are in the salsa. The menu says Salsas: Red & Green - I went to the location today and asked the employees and they said there are no peanuts in our salsa. This is unacceptable. Also I looked again at the menu, and am positive there is no mention. EDIT #2 responding to passive aggressive owner: yes, I am worried about my health and the health of others. Your employees should know what ingredients you use for exactly this reason. If this happened to be lethal to another customer, I imagine your restaurant (more like shed) would be turned back into a parking space. God bless!

Delicious authentic tacos. Bistek are my favorite in a flour tortilla. The price is right, quick and piping hot. The staff are awesome friendly also. The salsa is a little on the hot side, even the green. Cant go wrong. This is a little gem of a taco stand youll miss if you blink.

Food is great best suadero Ive ever had on this side of the border. The quesadillas are inner mexico style, 2 corn tortillas laid in series if that makes sense. I have to mention again that the suadero is amazing. Even in Mexico city where suadero is from good suadero is hit or miss. Quesadillas in northern Mexico are made with flower tortillas. Here the quesadillas are served true to the way they are served in the inner city, corn tortillas.

Warning: Location is paying for good reviews!!! After being offered to be paid for a review, I figured I would post an honest one. The quesdilla isnt a quesdilla, It was $8 for that a tiny little gordita little thing they called a quesdilla. The bottled soda was warm. Their hours are out of touch (Who closes in the middle of dinner at 7?? They forgot we are a commuter town) Their window says Dallas, Tx which immediately screams We are here for money and could careless about Allen, Tx How about a Go Eagles (They are like who??) Sign or ya know, a picnic table..... Better yet an employee that speaks English! 0 points for local culture. They pretty much missed the mark in every category actually. With restaurants nearby that love their community, live in the community, and support our community like El Grande and Mexigo. Theirs NO reason to come here to be honest... Seriously, go back to Dallas where you can sling mediocre gas station food and thats it... you bring no actual value to Allen and its obvious by your ridiculous hours, bad signage, lack of English, post explosive diarrhea, paid good reviews, and copy and paste review replies that zero Fs are actually given...

One of the best places for a burrito. This is definitely a hole in the wall place and it is well worth it. I always order the burrito campechano and it never disappoints. They make them when you order so call ahead if you are in a time crunch. I moved to Denton and whenever I am in the Allen area I always stop by. Update: Stopped by today and they are still great!

PSA: Do NOT eat here if you have any severe food allergies! I ordered two quesadillas, only ate one. I was breaking out in hives from head to toe within minutes. I called to find out the ingredients and since no one spoke English, no one was able to help me. They actually hung up on me when I said I was going to head to the hospital. Its extremely important to be able to properly communicate with your patrons when it comes to health concerns like this!!! Never in my life (37y) have I eaten a quesadilla that has eggs or nuts in it Tortilla, meat, mozzarella, and sour cream.

I got the pastor and steak tacos. They are absolutely delicious. The pastor has such a delicious flavor and the pineapple on top takes it to a different level. The steak was great as well. I got it with everythjng which includes the cilantro,onions,limes on the sides and salsas on the side. The ladies are quick 4 tacos were done in 10 mins or less.

Five stars for the tacos. $2 each. I normally have three for a meal. Served with onion, cilantro, and lime--this is exactly what tacos should be. Best tacos Ive had in Texas. Theyre simple and delicious. I have to say, I dont recommend their quesadillas. But their tacos easily earn them 5 stars.

I am from Chicago and have been looking for a taco spot as close to home as possible and have tried a lot of spots all around DFW and none were good. A friend that also recently moved here from Chicago told me about this little place and I tried them! What the outside lacks in beauty the food totally makes up for! I was looking online for a taco spot. Missing a taste of home. This one stop goodness shop was put on my radar so I pulled up. Menu is small, but the flavor in the food is mighty! This place is well worth the trip. The food was full of flavor and well worth the prices, which are a lot better than some of your fancier places. This is authentic food done right. Although Im giving it five stars, there are some things you need to know. This is authentic food done right.... I just said that but what that also means is that it isnt fast food. It takes some time to get your food. We were told to wait ten minutes after ordering, so if youre in a super hurry then either slow down or come back after you are done with whatever rushed thing you were doing. Parking is not a problem. After you order you more or less have your pick of parking. This isnt a busy shopping area at the moment. The staff is good. They were friendly, helpful, and tried their best to answer questions, which wasnt perfect since English is not their first language. The place is well kept up and clean. They really seem to want to make it as inviting as possible and considering is is a literal shack they are doing a great job. So, go, order, eat. You wont be disappointed.
