I took my family after a long time and it was like coming home! Weve been patrons since its Richardson location. We were fortunate enough to be graced by the presence of both mama & baba which was a treat in itself. We had the chicken combo, Naan, beef biryani, and beef samosas. Theres a very simple reason why there are no pictures; the food, service, and the whole experience were just too good to capture digitally. You have to taste, feel and live it. This place should be on rotation in your to go to restaurants, youll never be disappointed i promise Vegetarian options: If its not on the menu and you ask, Im sure theyll fix you a plate

Goat biryani was below average. Rice was overcooked, flavor was bland. Chicken Tikka tasted like it was reheated from one of those precooked packs you get at Sams club. Youd think if the restaurant boasts of being in business for 35years their food would be phenomenal but it was really not worth the money. Heard DFW Was a hub for desi food and yet so far my experience hasnt been it.

The food is extremely disappointing both times Iv been here. The samosas are made from frozen carrots and peas no potatoes at all and they didn t include the tamron sauce. I asked for mint chutney both times I have been there. They forgot it both times. They gave me some other sauce that tasted just like salsa. The butter chicken wasn t made with the tandoori chicken it was big chunks of chicken breasts that were dry. The butter sauce did not taste like butter chicken. The first time I got food here my naan was burnt the entire bottom was black. I figured I d give it another try and this is my experience. I am extremely disappointed on the quality of the food and the sauces that werent included like I had asked. I ended up throwing the food away. Extremely disappointed it was a waste of $30. I won t be coming back.

I recently relocated here and am delighted to have found this restaurant. I used to frequent Silver Spoon in Mississauga, Canada, and have been missing it until now. The owner here is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. Ive tried a few dishes, but my favorite so far is the fish over rice; the flavors are spot on, and the portions are generous. This place has become a go-to spot for me. Definitely worth the drive!!

Silver Spoon offers a casual dining experience with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Despite the promising name, the food is served on paper plates and in plastic bowls, with plastic silverware. The Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala were good, though not exceptional. The $35 price tag felt a bit high given the disposable dining ware. Additionally, theres an automatic gratuity charge for groups of five or more, even though its counter service which seems odd to me.

Recently saw an advert for their High Tea from 3-6pm serving bun kabobs, aloo paratha, samosas, chai etc. I placed an order for one bun kabab to go. I arrived to the restaurant maybe 5 mins later and the owner Kazi was so kind, had the order packed and ready to go. The bun kabab was so delicious and thankfully not packed with coriander seeds like typical places. Honestly I didn t eat the sandwich until 2 hours later and it was still delicious at room temp. Next time, I ll enjoy it fresh and with a cup of tea. Thank you!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Silver Spoon and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The chill vibe of the place made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. Now, lets talk about the food. I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan, and it was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, and each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The butter chicken was perfectly seasoned and the garlic naan was soft and fluffy, the ideal accompaniment to the dish. What truly set Silver Spoon apart, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need was met. Overall, Silver Spoon is a gem of a restaurant that not only serves incredible food but also provides a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Im addressing their response to another review. The review stated that there was a mystery charge on their bill, and the owner responded that this charge was the mandatory 18% gratuity for parties of 5 or more. The issue with this is that because of how they are billing it, they are charging people tax on the gratuity, thus stealing money from people as gratuity is non-taxable. Also, because of the receipt not making it clear that gratuity has already been charged, a lot of people may be doubling gratuity without knowing it.

My mother was in town and wanted naan. I have ordered food from Silver Spoon many times and decided to give them a buzz to order naan. The owner rudely declined my request. I was dumbfounded, especially since his son had provided me with naan in the past. Im a foodie and have visited many different cuisines all over the US and have never been told that I couldnt order sides without ordering expensive items. I will certainly pass on this place going forward as the owner needs to learn customer service skills. I will also inform others of my experience.

It was my worst day!! Tried to get something from new place and I tried chicken seekh kebab biryani and the chicken nehari gravy for naan from Silver Spoon. Il I NEVER tasted such horrible food . When I opened the back, the kebab rice had some bad smell. Still I tried a spoon of rice and immediately split out. Such a worst food. Also the Nehari gravy which the chef recommends when I tried to order Tikka Masala for the naan. Its again waste, full oily, tasteless. Its totally kind of spice water with oil, chicken not cooked well. Not sure how t chef recommends a watery gravy for a naan. I thought it will be similar to Tikka and something as thick gravy. All goes to trash now in few secs. Not even one star! DONT EVEN THINK TO TRY HERE!!!!

Honestly this is the most bland desi restaurant I have ever been to. Nothing we ordered had any flavor at all. The food was cooked well and even looked like it would taste good but again it tasted like nothing was seasoned. The biryani tasted like white rice, the chicken was bland, the naan s were definitely brought from a frozen box at a grocery store. The desert tasted like they didn t add sugar. Even the sauces were bland. I don t even know how you can mess that up. It s like they re trying to avoid flavor because it s costs money. I think the good reviews are fake. There is just no way people like this. Place looked nice and clean but again no flavor on anything.

This place is really good! Very flavorful and authentic with a great selection of vegan options. We got the Veggie Masala and the Bhindi Masala(okra) which was amazing and their Naan is so fresh! The owner was very humble and friendly. 10/10 recommend

I tried their kababs at a friends place and enjoyed them, so decided to check it out myself. It was my first time here and the gentleman at the front greeted and treated me as if I was a long-time customer. His pleasant attitude and friendliness elevated the overall experience. We ordered takeout but decided to sit and have tea while we waited. An excellent decision. Their chai is the best Desi chai Ive had at a restaurant in Dallas. Chai - 5/5 Lahori Fish - 5/5 Chicken kababs - 5/5 Chutney that comes with kababs - 5/5 Butter Naan/Garlic Naan - 4/5 Chicken Chapli - 3/5 Salted Lassi - 3/5 Customer service - 5/5 Everything was freshly made. The seasoning on the Lahori Fish was excellent, the right balance. Their kababs have a lot of flavor, they were soft and moist. The chicken chapli was good, but it wasnt as good as their regular seekh kababs. The Lassi has good texture, it was also fresh and cold, but I didnt taste the salt. I will definitely order it again though, because Im sure the staff will make it the way Id like for them to. Also - the tables were clean! As were the floors and the restaurant by itself. The ambience was also great - they were playing Coke Studio at a pleasant/low volume in the background. I could listen to the music but still have a conversation. I look forward to visiting again and trying the other items which they offer. Vegetarian options: They offer multiple vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Halal.

A good spot to have some Pakistani cuisine. Staff was very friendly and explained the menu well. I would have loved if the spice level was a little higher but other than that no complains. A great choice for Gluten free food if you re looking. The Pakistani meat Samboosas are all GF and they have GF bread. Prices are also fair, but I would say portions are a bit on the smaller end. Dietary restrictions: GF options and halal menu Parking: Ample parking Kid-friendliness: Pakistani vibes very good for children

The quantity is super less. One plate of biriyani is sufficient for one person only. Never order samosa, its the frozen ones. You have to call 2-3 times to place an order because they dont pick up calls.

A family owned an operated business (now 2nd generation!) that survived Covid! It is no surprise given how innovative and detail oriented the owners are! The dishes are delicious and authentic (the only reason for the 4 star rating is that some dishes were bit too spicy). You will feel so welcome after meeting the father and son who run the place. They are so kind - youll leave with a full heart and stomach!

These people have raised the prices so they can be millionaire over night. Cook for $2 and sell for $15. Goto Kroger, Patel Brothers cook your own food and you can eat more. One plate for $15 plus tax. The Salt, Sugar, Fat will kill your health. Boycott.

I recently visited Silver Spoons in Allen, Texas and I was very impressed. The food was delicious - the chicken biryani, samosas, and chicken karahi were all cooked to perfection. The service was also outstanding - the staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that my experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend Silver Spoons for anyone looking for a great Pakistani restaurant.

Because of rating we went there with high expectations. We liked the service here, food was mediocre. We ordered behari kabab (it was qeema with some spices). Seekh kebabs were also just fine. Biryani was ok, naan was like paaper, kid meal was ok. Gulab jamun were ok. In short no food had authentic taste.

I guess this place is vegan? I ordered what I thought was Saag but it was tomato based and not even close to what I thought I was ordering. I called them back after getting home and realizing that maybe I got the wrong thing and was told this was a vegan place that doesn t do the traditional type food that I was expecting. I can t eat a lot of tomato but they didn t care at all about my allergy so I just wasted a ton of money there. Not recommended

We ordered Beef Biryani, Chicken Tikka, Nehari Beef and some naan and they are all delicious and fresh. But I must say, the Beef Biryani takes the trophy. Its just perfectly seasoned, delicious and for some reason we all came back for more! I am really not surprised if their Biryani is the no 1 best seller because its that good! The next time we order from Silver Spoon, Beef Biryani rice will be one of them. Great job Silver Spoon!
