Went at 3pm on a Monday and the place was completely empty. Prices are average, portions are good. Chips and salsa are perfect. The food was delicious but never had chile relleno with raisins and walnuts. That was different. The enchiladas were pretty good too. The cocktails were strong. Dessert was excellent. Overall is an ok experience. Nothing to write home about.

My kids and I have loved Mexigo! Unfortunately, it is now under new ownership and called Hermanos. While the staff and food are still great, I am very disappointed in the new owner. Many of us with Allen High School have purchased an Allen Eagle Card that has discounts to numerous Allen restaurants. Last night I went to use it and the employees said the new owner will not accept it because it says Mexigo. Yet their signage still says Mexigo. This is very disappointing to the Allen community. It was a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more and the new owner would not accept it. So while the employees and food are still the same, the ownership is far worse.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining at Mexi-Go for the first time, now called Hermanos Mexican Restaurant, in Allen, TX! Wow, believe me, with the friendly and awesome service along with the incredible margaritas, Ill definitely be coming back, most likely again this weekend to share my incredible experience with friends. The restaurant is very spacious and nicely decorated! As soon as you open the door, Maria invited me in with a smile and I was also immediately greeted with the delicious aromas of fajitas cooking in the kitchen, YUM! I was also welcomed by the new owners, brothers Jose and Arturo. They, along with the rest of the staff, made this wonderful dining experience feel like visiting family!!! I cant wait to revisit my new Hermanos and the whole Hermanos Family!

Met with a couple friends for Margaritas. Cant complain about the drinks, however the food was not the best that Ive had. Our server seemed perturbed at times and we interpreted him as being standoffish for some reason. Might have been having a bad day? If I ever go back its just for a margarita.

We were a bit leery about a small strip mall eatery, but we were pleasantly surprised. The drinks were above average in quality, and the food (appetizers) was exceptionally good. There aren t a lot of places we would say we would be go back to, but this place was stellar. The waiters aren t high school students, and the attention was was 1st class. We ll be back for sure!

Great food, good service, manager is very nice. The beef tacos are fresh and delicious. Good margaritas on the rocks. Im always wanting to try a new dish and I WILL very soon. I just love the tacos so much. Guacamole is very good and sour cream chicken enchiladas. I want to try some of Mexi-Gos shrimp and steak dishes soon. This restaurant has improved in recent years. The chips and salsa are tasty. Good salsa is a must for me. Try them out soon!

I recently dined at Mexi-go and was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff greeted us warmly and ensured we were comfortable throughout our meal. They were attentive without being intrusive, making sure our needs were met promptly and with a smile. The food at Mexi-go is nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors that transported us straight to Mexico. We have been coming here for over 3 decades now and this place has change quite a bit over the years. The food used to be amazing and very fairly priced. These days the quality has dropped while the prices have increased. Probably the same everywhere BUT the reason for this review today is I was handed the check with a QR code today the bill. As I was waiting for it to load I saw they went ahead and took the liberty of adding a 20% Gratuity to the ticket on a party of 3 adults, a 3 year and 4 month old. Hmm interesting but ok. When the QR finally loaded it had it set to a default of adding another 25% gratuity ON TOP of the originally 20%! Had I not seen the printed ticket while the code was loading, I would have just automatically proceeded with the transaction and automatically tipped 45%! Shady, shady, shady business tactics here. Just beware of your bill y all!

This place is still amazing . Have been coming here for nearly three decades. They are hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Collin County and their food has always been consistent. Fantastic staff where the majority of them have been here for as long as I can remember. They are more than happy to to prepare a meal however you like it on the menu or not. Prices are more than reasonable even with how much everybody else around has gone up. If you havent tried this place out give them a try. Vegetarian options: They will make what you asked for. Parking: Very large parking lot well lit and in a good area. The police station right across the street so the security is always good.

The food was good and consistent. Initially, the chips that were brought out were stale but our server corrected that. The sour cream chicken enchiladas have shredded chicken. The sauce is good and the chicken is OK but I ve had a lot better. Flavor was meh. Kind of an also ran product. Would have helped with jalapeños on top. This also would ve punched up the presentation quite a bit. Many places dust a little bit of paprika on top for color. Probably will order some thing different next time. The rice and beans were OK but Nothing special. The chicken breast was over cooked and a bit tough. It was flavorful, but seriously overcooked. The star of the meal was definitely the flan. Fresh light airy & delicious. There wasn t really enough of the caramel sauce, but tasty. Dinner partner did not care for the slight orange flavor and this is a change from last time. Parking: Plenty of free parking in private lot in front of restaurant. Easy access.

Looked understaffed and the staff didn t walk by enough. I ve gone here for 10+ years and it s a shame to see how much the prices have gone up and how the food has changed. They used to replace your chip basket even when it was half full. It didn t get filled once while I was there today. Just hasn t been as good as it used to be. I got the tamales as usual. UNCOOKED FOOD. I called in and ordered some fajitas. They cost $24.00 for a serving for 1 3 tortillas. I asked how many for a serving of 2 6 tortillas. She told me a dollar extra.. Honestly haven t been this disappointed at a restaurant in a long time. Friday night barely anyone here. Queso came out barely warm. Was at room temperature quickly. Salsa was bland and watery. Chicken stuffed jalapeños burned, barely any chicken, one was super spicy and the next was not spicy at all. Inconsistent. Taco toppings came on the side with very small portion of cheese. Forgot the no tomatos but there were only like 6 diced pieces.. The pork enchiladas had no flavor and mid. Everything was either mediocre at best or just straight terrible. I would not recommend eating here.

Ordered food to go and it was brought out plated. The waiter let my party know it was only two people waiting tables. His frustration and anger scared me when I asked to cancel my order since I had been waiting more than 30 mins and had to get back to work. Upon asking to cancel the order he brought it out plated and was upset when I asked for a to go box. The food was meh at best. Lacked seasoning and wasnt hot but almost cold after waiting so long and I had to microwave it.

The servers are friendly, atmosphere is nice, and margaritas are good. Presentation of the food was fine, but the TASTE was disappointing. The salsa was missing underlying flavor like it wasnt finished. There was no seasoning on the shrimp in the shrimp salad. Brisket quesasdilla - not much flavor except salt; snd too much liquid made the tortilla soggy. Im sad... Ive been going here for 20+ years and I think ownership & management has changed at least a couple of times. But prices are too high for the quality of food currently served.

Food is always hot & fresh. We ordered a chicken chimichanga and Mexigo Especial. Both great choices! Plenty of Margaritas to chose from! Grab some friends and split The Flaming Molcajete. You won t be disappointed!

Food is ok, but staff was very rude , they charged us double tip one time (be careful with the bill), and the next time we went there the waiter was behind us looking at what amount of tip we were going to add, if he doesnt like he will ask why we leave that tip(very rude).
