If I could give this place ten stars I would! We live not too far from Brio and decided to try it. I was a little worried because it asks for reservations online. But when we got there it was such a beautiful experience. The atmosphere is very upscale but with an equal feeling of being relaxed and casual. Our server, Lauren, was sweet, helpful, patient, and very attentive. The food was a little on the pricey side but worth every penny. My husband is a whisky drinker and tried the Brio Old Fashioned which is made with amaretto instead of simple syrup. He said it gave the drink another level of flavor. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the butter sauce on the mushroom ravioli was delicious. We took dessert home and they were just as tasty. If you want a nice night out with some ambiance with great service, this is the place for you. They also have a brick oven that they bake their pizzas in. Thank you, Brio, for the amazing experience. We ordered two entrees, two adult beverages, and two desserts for $120. Vegetarian options: There are pasta options with no meat and there are cheese and veggie pizzas.

I used to give this place a higher rating, but last night was terrible. We sat at the bar and had the worst service. I asked for the 9oz pour and barely got 6 ozs! When I asked the bartender about it, he literally blew me off. It will be a while before I go back.

The lasagna was awful! (9/22) There was so much onion in the meat/cheese filling that it threw of the taste and smell was awful. The order wasnt to go and was not offered to sit at the bar or any type kind drink. I had a water, which I had to ask for, lasagna bag and an appetizer (which was ok) in a pizza box ( cool). The seating guy didnt offer to open the ( they have large steel doors). As I struggled to get out the door I had to ask the guy to open the door. I had not ordered for pick up. I was meeting friends and there was a mix up so I just decided to place an order since I love Italian and was hungry. Brio was such a disappointment. Maybe thats why it was almost empty.

Its very old inside. They need renovation badly and the food portions are really small for the price. First and last time going here. Shut this place down because food inspector is either getting paid to pass these guys or they have another means to pass their inspections. Theres not a single Italian in there making authentic anything.

Would give 0 stars if I could but I guess one star will be for the fact that I lost 10 pounds after eating here because I got SALMONELLA! Went in for a late lunch and had to basically walk into the kitchen to find someone to seat us. Restaurant was empty. Ordered the bolognese and have been sick for the last two weeks because of it. It resulted in not one but three visits to the ER. I have still not recovered. Our waitress seemed very distracted. She dropped all her tips on the ground and when my uncle nicely informed her that there was a large amount of cash on the floor at her feet she didnt even say thank you, just picked it up like nothing happened and continued taking our order. The lasagna was terrible. Drinks were ok. Would not recommend eating here.

Stopped by for a late lunch, wasn t very busy; large establishment. Kitchen looked really clean, organized, and free of clutter. Have to say for the quality and authenticity the dishes were pricey; $25+ for a pasta dish and extra $10 or more to add a protein to it. Bread was fresh, hot, and delicious; butter was also nicely salted. Caesar salad was crisp and cold. Had the sausage rigatoni, it was spicy, sausage was flavorful. Portions are large so I e we re able to split. All-in for one drink, pasta dish, and side salad about $40. Server was nice, split our meal on two plates. Overall good experience but wouldn t necessarily feel compelled to come back with so many great choices in the area.

During our visit to brio italian grille we were lucky to be served by dillion, from the moment we were seated dillion greeted us very politely and making us feel at home. Dillion knew everything on the menu and offering us great recommendations. He took the time to explain each dish, the ingredients and the preparation for it. His enthusiasm for the food and restaurant was amazing and it was clear he was passionate about giving his guests a great meal and experience. Dillion had great timing on checking in on us and making sure our drinks were refilled and that we had everything we needed.He had amazing service that definitely made our dining experience top notch. We will definitely be returning and hope to have Dillion as our waiter again!

My family and I tried Brio for the first time last night. Boy were we blown away. The food was delicious. Not just some items but everything we got was so flavorful and fresh! Our server Megan was on point the whole time. I drink unsweetened ice tea faster than most servers can refill it. Megan had no problems keeping up and always had a smile on her face. We always visit this location as a large party. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service is always great. But tonight, the service and our waitress, Monterey (I hope I m spelling her name correctly) was AMAZING!!! She was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive. There were about 17 of us. All of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees were served perfectly by her and her only. She was also working with other tables and still delivered an outstanding service.

The food was something reminiscent of Denny s with prices that could have bought you a great meal anywhere within walking distance of this place. We had an impromptu decision for a group of 25 of us to go eat together after training seminar. Brio had us sat almost immediately and we all had ordered and had food within 45 minutes. This was all handled by one waiter and he had other tables as well. We have been here several times and have absolutely loved it! The risotto is to die for (and coming from someone who doesn t like mushrooms- that says a lot!), the lobster bisque is amazing!! I dont know if they changed the chef but the food was mediocre. We were a party of 9 and the foods were either salty or bland. For starters, our server gave us 2 slices of bread for 9 people. The childrens chicken were drenched with so much flour, our pork chops were so dry that my mother-in-law said her gums hurt from chewing the meat, and the risotto was salty. And we were there around 5pm for an early dinner, there were only a few tables occupied yet that was the service we received.

When we walked in the door we were greeted by Addy who was friendly, smiling, and so very welcoming. She sat us and was delightful. Then our waitress, Taylor, came to see us. She had the sweetest smile and was excited to tell us that we were her first customers on her very first day on the floor. She was wonderful! Went today (Sunday) for my wife s birthday and despite the older Yelp reviews, everything was on point. Our server was Megan and she was so friendly and attentive. I had chopped salad and the Chicken Milanese and my wife had the wedge salad and Grilled Salmon Fresca. My meal was fresh out of the oven and a very generous portion (had to doggy bag the leftovers). Her salmon was moist and flavorful. Sourdough bread also came to us hot and fresh. My wife received a complimentary warm chocolate cake which was a nice touch. The meals pace, atmosphere, our wonderful server, and having the manager stop by leads me to believe they have upped their game and are very customer focused. We come here for special occasions and I m so glad they are local and still the high quality we desire. Join their e-club for additional savings. We will be back.

Brio s has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. I purchase their gift cards by the thousands ($), and I am seldom disappointed by the quality/consistency of their food, the attentiveness of their hosts, their bartenders expertise, and the personal feedback their managers seek during every visit. My daughter and I had lunch at the Watter s Creek location. Alexis, greeted me with the brightest of smiles, and I got seated at a booth we often end up with. Before I texted my daughter where I was seated, Sage, our host, was ready to introduce herself, informed me she was aware I was waiting on my guest, yet she asked if I needed a refreshment. Honestly, I was startled when I looked up to find Sage, ready to go with any order. I had a dirty martini with Bombay Saphire Gin. The glass was filled to the rim (a lost art these days), as cold as ice, the ratios of the olive brine and dry vermouth were perfect and the olives were fresh. I asked Sage to compliment Brian, the bar tender, on a superbly mixed Dry Martini. Next was the hot sourdough bread with a side of butter, while we reviewed the menu. That is a one minute exercise for me because their Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Medallions wins every time. If it ain t broke don t fix it , so I order the same EVERY TIME. Grace was in the mood for Salmon, and their Grilled Salmon Fresca matched her appetite. Half way through the meal, Shawn, the manager, solicited our feedback with a winning smile and disarming humility. Not once, did we have to look for or flag Sage. She was on top of things and I asked her if she was a mind reader! The cobbler for desert left no room for anything else. Folks, Brio s at Water Creek in Allen is the quentiscential specimen of hospitality done right. Alexis, Sage, Brian, and Shawn I salute you and hope you will continue to be my GoTo restaurant for years to come. Thank you for making lunch with my daughter a meal/time to remember.

Let me start off by saying this place is a hidden jem!! All the years we have live in Allen we have never ate here. My husband took me here for our anniversary I m totally speechless . From the moment we entered the building the customer service rank the best I have ever had at any restaurant in life. I understand special occasions can be a busy time for restaurants, which is why we made a reservation. We arrived and the table was neither reserved or ready. Wish that was the worst of the experience.... We were greeted by a waitress that acted like she would rather be getting bamboo shoots under her fingernails than waiting on us. She proved this multiple times throughout our experience by actually LOOKING THE OTHER WAY when walking past our table (basically because from the look of it, she forgot to put in our order...several other tables around us had not only received their meals, but were finished before she could even manage to get a glass of wine from the bar.) And then there was the food. She brought it out and asked if we wanted parmesan, which I noticed she didnt have with her. I didnt want to wait another 45 minutes, so a promptly declined. Our meals were room temperature and flavorless. Guess I should have waited for that parm... From start to finish just a lackluster and frustrating experience. I am beyond disappointed because this has been a family favorite of ours for years. I expected a higher level of food and service for the price point. We will not be back.

Ask me politely about how well I handled waiting over an hour after arriving early for a reservation made days ago at Brio. Probably not well I learned from Seinfeld that in a situation comedy, a reservation is what people do to reserve a specific time and table, so you know when to to plan and travel and show up to pay money and eat your cold food?...where high schoolers on tablets are running the joint and cant be bothered to bring you silverware, or a SweetNLow..or some bread...or butter?...In a dining room of mid afternoon empty tables? None of the young staff looked like they were super energetic or at all interested in making it a good experience for any paying customer....or even caring. We ran into friends in the dining room and their experience was no better. They were just glad they could take their leftovers and get out of there. The three young hostesses and seaters at the front were sipping on their Brio to go cups, thumbing through their phones while the grown up lady with the cool colorful eyeglasses continued to keep telling guest after guest checking in that Brio would do their best to seat you as soon as possible. we called her The Librarian. She was sharp and chic. Umm, yall....it was Mothers Day 2024? Not COVID 2020. Its A big day that Brio and its staff and manager...who looked like he was running around with head cut off and just wanted to go home. There was no where to stand. To wait. it was pouring rain. He would come out and tell us they are doing there best to seat everyone with a reservation and add tables?? Like were at grandmas for Thanksgiving and going to get out the folding card table out for the kids?! It was totally insane but it would be over an hour wait..at 2 pm....for our reservation?? Thats insane. We should have left but we foolishly didnt. We grabbed our own silverware and napkins from one of the numerous empty tables. I asked our table neighbor if they wouldnt mind if we grab 2 sweet n lows. My father went to the kitchen pick up order area to get some bread and find some butter. Everyones order came out at different times. A lot of expensive cold plates of ravioli. My niece never even got her flat bread...and was like dont bother them Ill eat my side ceasar salad...we were just happy we didnt get charged for it. About 15 minutes later my Chicken Parmesan showed up. Lots of spaghetti. No sauce. No cheese. Just two well prepared and my compliments, delicious pan fried chicken breast over dry, unseasoned ,chewy pasta. I was so upset and still am that this was the mothers day plan I made for my mother and my sister and our families. It was just unbelievable. And Ive worked in food service so I never say a word or get upset and try to be cool. I think the only time I ever spoke up in the past was when I once ordered a Whataburger with cheese with mayonnaise only and got a bun, with a slice of cheese and mayo...no beef patty, lol. This experience came close. At least we never have to come back to spend 275 dollars and be so disappointed. Please tey do better if you want to stay a popular spot in The Allen community. Thank you. We wanted to enjoy a Friday evening on their patio and sat out there for about 15 minutes. The server that was out there was a grumpy man with red/orange glasses. He made eye contact with us but never came over to acknowledge or greet us. We finally gave up and went inside to take our chances at the bar. There, the server saw us but still didnt come over to apologize or even an explanation as to why he wasnt serving us in a timely manner. I really wanted the crispy eggplant and shrimp dish. We were pleased that it came out good but the flatbread tasted that it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. The bartender seemed stressed and never offered to refill our drinks or water. It was our first time there, so such a disappointment.

Celebrated Mothers Day at Brio. Restaurant was under staffed. Waited 15 mins for drinks, another 15 mins to order...waiter disappeared for 30 mins! Had to get up twice to walk over to server station and ask other waiters for items. Ridiculous. Food was cold, staff forgot 3 side dishes and waiter was unattentive. Disappointing experience. We went here to celebrate a friends birthday. We reserved a table as we had a bigger party & yet we waited 15 mins for a table because it was not ready , not because there was no table availability. Food was oily & salty (pasta sauces) Dishes were cold. Quantity of a lunch meal was that of a side dish. Services slow. No checks on water refills. Would NOT recommend. The only thing we enjoyed was the creme brulee.

Was excited to try Brio based on the reviews and referrals, so perhaps our experience was unique. The staff themselves were professional and polite. So I imagine there was an issue with their processes. First, from the point of being sat at our table, it took 20 minutes before being seen, after finally flagging someone down. Then, another 20 minutes before getting bread for the table, water and drinks for us/kids. Finally, the food itself was just ok, not great. But at that point, we were just done and wanted to leave. Not a great experience for the evening. It wasnt so terrible to raise a concern, but the overall experience didnt live up to expectations and the price point.

The setting was beautiful, and the staff were attentive and being able to sit outside a nice bonus. I wanted to love this place, but somehow the food didn t meet my expectations. It was beautifully presented as you can see from the photos, but didn t especially wow either myself or my husband. His salmon was slightly fishy and my chicken not as tender as I would have hoped. The Marsala sauce was good. Maybe I should have stuck to pasta dishes.

Me and a friend went to brio for the first time on 4/13, they were busy so I m glad I made a reservation online. It did not take long to be seated. I have to say that the food was good and tasty, but for the amount you pay, my friends portion was small and they are very skimpy with the lobster. I had the lobster and shrimp pasta, there was definitely more shrimp than lobster in it. I had a margarita that was very strong, almost too strong to drink. We spent $108 on two entrées, one appetizer, one drink, and a dessert. I will visit them again.

This place uses pretty cheap, low-quality ingredients and it shows. Being in the food business, it was even more obvious. Its LOUD. We were seated inside and it was loud, both voices and clanging dishware. Impossible to enjoy a conversation. Asked to move outside. Its next to the freeway. Its LOUD. But not as bad as inside. Waiter was inexperienced, and indifferent. Delivered bread. Never brought its plates or silverware until dinner. We did our best to scrape the bread across the butter. I m a new fan of Brio. We hosted our book club here and it was perfect. Very quiet, great service, and delicious food. The shrimp and scallop risotto was amazing. The tiramisu & cheesecake was a hit as well. My only complaint is it s absolutely freezing in there. So much so that it s uncomfortable and you re ready to leave. We spoke to the manager, but it didn t make a difference. So we froze in the meat locker for the duration of our meal. I would come back, but only if it s room temperature. The food is good so maybe order to go.

My family and I had dinner last night, it was horrible experience. We ordered the Calamari there was 5 rings and the rest chewy tentacles we could not eat them, then our meal came in the chicken Limone was warm at best few small pieces of chicken , the chicken Milanese had 2 small pieces of chicken over very oily pasta and little sauce, i did for more sauce took 15 minutes, ounce i finally got it, it was served in 2 ounces ramekin that did not even put a dent over the pasta. Finally to put the cherry on top, we witness the 2 cooks eating behind the line and prepping the guests food without washing their hands. Violation of health code and with someone like that has a severe case of COPD that will put in the hospital for 5 days, apparently no hygiene practices at Brio. Michael

First time here. Reservations for 4 got right in. Coltons service was spot on! Ordered couple drinks the White Peach Bellini was very good. Starters Spinach and Artichoke dip very good, but the braised lamb chops were excellent! Entrees included Filet Mignon, Dime Filets, Chicken Milanese, and the Margherita flat bread pizza, all very good and seasoned perfectly. Finished it off with Tiramasu and Cheesecake. We will certainly be back!

Best Italian food weve ever had.. Husband and I came back to Allen for our 13 years anniversary because this is where we got married.
