The tots were really good, and the service was friendly. The chicken was just okay, but the peanut butter milkshake is amazing! There s a fun area for the kids to run around, which is nice. However, the place could definitely be a bit cleaner.

Ive been here before but only through drive-through at Little Elm. Great burgers, but pricey. Went to this location at my granddaughters request. The staff was awesome very friendly and workingvhard to keep up with lots of orders. I ordered something I thought would be easy chicken Cesar salad and Buffalo nuggets 4pc. I couldnt find any chicken in my in salad, and the Buffalo sauce was too much. For it to be a place so kids can play, I guess its a great spot. The place was messy, but the location was hit by several softball teams that came in all at once. It was pretty price on under 20.00.

I ate here for the first time the other day. My daughter and I were running errands all day and were really hungry. We were going to HEB and since Hat Creek shares a parking lot with HEB we decided to eat first. When we got there we immediately went to the restroom to wash our hands and it was so dirty! We both got burgers, we shared an order of french fries, I got a coke and she got a small vanilla shake. I think it was a little over $20. This place could use a good cleaning. The glass doors to walk to the outside area were also really dirty. It just seemed like there was no attention to detail. The food and the service was just average, Not bad but definitely nothing that would make me want to come back.

I am really happy to have this place so close to my house. I have two very active kids, so I can take them here for lunch and they can enjoy a meal and play to their hearts content. The burgers are quite good. IMO theyre a wee bit salty for my taste, but I enjoy them. You can tell the beef is high quality. I like the Southwest. But I also appreciate the portion of the Little Hat (which my son likes) and they have a good turkey burger on the menu which I sometimes get or order for my daughter. They also offer lettuce-wraps on their burgers as well as salads. Their have a good menu design with a variety of options. The staff is always friendly and expedient. nd as I said, the atmosphere is great. You can eat comfortably at one of their picnic tables and watch your kids play, and for me thats worth everything.

I thought Id finally give this place a try since I pass by it so often going home. I got the big hat burger combo. The burger looks like something homemade, like exactly how burgers look when you get them from the grocery store and make it at home. Thats not a bad thing. it just didnt look like a fast food burger. The fries were the star, and I like the packaging it comes in, and they use seasoning salt, which made them taste even better. My only real critique is the drive-thru menu sign. I have good vision, so I was fine, but the size of the font on that thing is so tiny idk why they went with that I can only imagine some poor ol granny pulling up and it just being a complete blurr. If you have even slight vision issues go inside cause you wont be able to read the drive thru menu.

Hot, fresh, and flavorful burgers for sure! The beef patties are seasoned very well and the hamburger buns are soft and tasty. Moreover, the lettuce is crisp and the sliced tomato is juicy. All in all, a near perfect cheeseburger, in my opinion. The tater tots I ordered were fresh with just enough salt which paired perfectly with my burger. Above all, the customer service is exceptional! Hat Creek is definitely a must-try....you will not be disappointed.

To start, my 3-Star review isnt necessarily negative. Hat Creek is a fast food place mainly for children, since they all have big playgrounds. We went because its next to HEB and we were going shopping. The foods ok, not great but not bad. There were a lot of people, so it took some time to get our food. The atmosphere is family friendly with the emphasis on children, there were lots of kids running around. After hearing so many rave reviews, I was highly disappointed. There is only minimal inside seating, which causes you to have to sit outside by the play area. The noise from screaming kids was unbearable at times. After waiting 30 minutes for our order of 2 burgers and 2 orders of fries and seeing people who came in after us being served, we went to check on why we still had no food. Within a few minutes, they had our order out and comped our meal, which was not asked for but appreciated. Overall, the food was adequate at best and quite pricey for what you get. Beware, they changed manager awhile back, and since losing Jaque, their service have become poor. Our keto bowl was nade wrong on a delivery order, we had to drive back to fix it. We substituted chicken for the 2 beef patties. They charge the same amount but dont tell you until it arrives that they only gave you one chicken patty. Substituted items should come in the same quantity unless stated.

Im very scared to go back to this location because last time and the times before that I went my vanilla milkshake tasted like dumpster air, that stagnant scent that looms above the trash bags. I had my mom try it cause she was with me that day and she agreed. The fries were hard like day old texture, the tater tots tasted what I would imagine the dead sea tastes like with all the salt and I tried so hard to eat them but I felt really sick after 3. They didnt give me my dr pepper I paid 3 bucks for either so I had to stop at McDonalds on the way to therapy cause I had to eat something. My family with a picky 5 year old and a chicken nugget only 3 year old approves! They sell Chicken strips not nuggets but they are good which is why my 3 year old didnt mind at all. Plenty of choices for changing up or having a traditional burger, including turkey burgers! Real ground turkey, not the Pattys. Which makes me personally love this place more. And the beef burgers are really good as well. The atmosphere is fantastic if you have kids. You walk in, and order ( beer is also served). And then you get your drink of choice if not a beer at the fountain beverage machine. And from there you have picnic like tables ( they are more comfortable then the traditional picnic table but it feels like one) and you sit and wait for your order ...while....your kids can go play on the play structure! Indoor seating is available along with outdoor seating that brings you closer to the play structure. Best part ..the outdoor seating is under protective plastic walls (i think its plastic windows, not sure what its called) but its away from the elements. Hot outside, wont feel so hot and the cold wont have the wind giving you the extra chill as you watch your kids play. And thats my point lol. Anyway if you want a Burger, and some fun kid friendly options ( including grill cheese) and a place to get those kids energy out ..go here! Great place for the family. Love that they have decent veg options. Fills a great niche between fast food and table service. Vegetarian options: Veg burger is veg based, not just protein powders. I hadn t been to Hat Creek in a couple years because I didn t remember their food being anything special. But something must have changed because my entire meal today was delicious. I got the southwest burger and tots and they were both amazing. Definitely going there regularly now.

Great atmosphere and food. Vegetarian party was really good and fresh. Also a nice fenced area for kids to play on slides. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian patty. It was flavourful and fresh. Also the sweet potato fries were very good.

You have excellent burgers. But this is the third time I have ordered a bowl with no onions and there are onions on it when I get it. Is it the end of the world absolutely not. But please check the order carefully. I cannot eat onions and don t enjoy picking them out.

We were meeting relatives and they chose this place as it is very kid friendly. They do have a variety of breakfast option as well. The okay area is great for the kids and they patio seating has a full view of the okay area so making it easy to keep an eye on the kids while catching up with old friends. Food : 5/5
