I ve been shopping at this Kroger for several years. I now use their pickup service, and every time I go, they have never run out of what I needed and the produce they pick is always in great shape. I haven t once had to go in due to bad produce being picked. Their staff is also so kind and pleasant. Another plus: they have a nice variety of vegetarian foods (especially from the Quorn brand which can be hard to find these days). The only thing I wish they would improve on is their prices. They keep increasing (even when other grocery stores have much cheaper prices). If this keeps up, I m worried that Kroger won t stay competitive and may lose customers - even long-time customers like me. I hope that never happens because I truly love Kroger and will keep shopping here for as long as I can.

I made an online grocery delivery order, like I have so many times for the past two years. However this time, $40 worth of my order was not delivered and I received someone elses items. I tried reporting it through the app, using the live message support, and the official phone support. All said either error or did not respond for 20 minutes. I tried to call the store itself, and I was given the phone support number (that I already tried to talk to). I will no longer be shopping here, I just wanted to talk to someone about the situation but no one wants to answer.

I like the store, we have been shopping there for over 10 years. KROGER was the main store for our household grocery . The employees there are so kind. except one employee named *Josephine*. She is so rude and unprofessional.she treated us like we are criminals / shoplifters. On multiple occasions at the self checkout, she will approach us and go through our grocery bags. one by one and inspect all the items. Rudely, ask, Did you scan this one ? Or that one ? This happened 3 times in a row. Her rude and disrespectful behavior was so obvious. Even my 6 & 8 years old kids notice it. We talked to the store manager. He was very apologetic and sincere. He promised to address the issue . However, nothing happened .She did it again and again . Thats why I am leaving 1 star rating . Will not shop there anymore . That being said, we are so thankful to all other employees there who were so nice.

I have been mostly happy with the Kroger pharmacy until today. I walked in with a handwritten prescription from my doctor and they would not take it and told me it was Illegitimate. It was written on a watermarked notepad sheet with my doctors office letterhead, but they said it needed to be some red stamp. When I argued and asked them to call my doctor, they refused. So then I called my doctor. When I tried to hand the elderly woman there my phone to speak with them she just yelled in the phone saying we re not taking your prescription and was very nasty about it I told her that I have been buying my prescriptions there for a long time and maybe I should find a new place to get my prescriptions and she replied, well maybe you should again very nasty. I took my prescription down the street to Walmart and they filled the prescription. No problem. If they can t recognize a legitimate prescription, then should we really be trusting them to fill the prescriptions? Just saying.

I was so pleased with the custom floral order with Rosa. I had no idea Krogers floral department could provide the professional level of service I received. Rosa was knowledgeable and provided the design support that I desperately needed. The floral for my mother in laws 90th birthday was everything I hoped for!

Whats for lunch today? I stopped at Kroger for sandwich makings finding sliced meat and sliced cheese in the deli department where I was helped by a pleasant and patient young man. A few other bits were picked up here and there before I was able to get to the self-checkout. Since Kroger bought my home chain of Harris Teeter, I get to enter my VIC number and earn Fuel Points. So thats nice.

Be careful with the products that you guys buy. I purchased this Ensure Max protein last night 4-18-24 came in to return it or get a new one on 4-19-24 and they told me that I have to wait till they open tomorrow 4-20-24 to do so. they should check their products before they put them up or when they re-stuck and yes I did drink some of that ensure that was expired

I decided to buy one of these five dollar rotisserie chickens, they said that They are clearly marked as $8.99. Thought I would go back and take a picture to post, Looks like a beautiful store But this feels like a deliberate attempt to get people to put these in their cart and hope that we don t notice the price discrepancy. The sweet girl at the checkout didn t really know how to talk to me about this. She said she would be happy to remove the item from my order, but that doesn t solve the issue.

I would give this store a negative rating if I could. I typically shop after 9pm. They never have real checkers. The self-checkout lines are woefully inadequate for even a moderate amount of groceries. If you take more than 500 milliseconds to precariously balance your scanned item in the bagging area, the patronizing machine admonishes you to put your item in the bagging area. OH, REALLY? I HAD NO IDEA THAT I SHOULD PUT MY ITEM IN THE BAGGING AREA. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TELL ME AGAIN. I HAVE ONLY BEEN SCANNING GROCERIES FOR 30 YEARS. WHERE DO I PUT MY ITEMS? DUCK KROGER!

Kroger is one of the best grocery stores out there. Service is always fantastic and their selection is always great. If youre someone who likes store brand items then try Kroger branded stuff. Most of the time its as good or can be better than name brand. Not every single Kroger brand item is a hit of course but a lot of them are and you save good money over the name brand. Been shopping here for decades and am always happy to return.

I need Kroger for an emergency medicine & I arrived 7 minutes before they were closed, but the manager turned me away when I was going through hell & didn t care. I would have grabbed what I needed & been out of there before they actually closed, but their manager does not care about the customer, it s more important that they closed 10 minutes early. In severe pain I had to drive at total of 40 min to Winco. Thanks.

The last two times I ve gone here for groceries, I ve left with nothing due to the overwhelming workers. I use self checkout due to my high social anxiety and my phone number hasn t seemed to work for my coupons so when I call an attendant to come help, instead of greeting me and assisting, the older Hispanic lady with glasses always rushes over and starts going through my basket and bags scanning stuff and saying I haven t paid for it. Well duh! I m not done with my transaction yet!!! She starts grabbing everything and scanning it instead of listening and helping me. I hate spending an hour of time grocery shopping then having to leave it all cause I start having a panic attack. I won t be returning to this location anymore. Maybe teach your workers some customer service skills.

My last two visits to this Kroger have been filled with frustration. Not all of the self checkouts were working and they certainly don t employ enough cashiers or help for the self check out stations. In my case today, between a needy customer and and the self service machine stopping and requiring the cashier to work her magic each time after I had run 25/33/38 items, it caused me to lose 10 minutes of precious time I will never get back. I like the food at this Kroger s, but with HEB breathing down your neck a few blocks away, I would rethink this practice of not having all your self service kiosks working and having more help available.

However when I went shopping today, I accidentally miscounted the amount of lemons I had and the cashier looked at me if I was a criminal. She stopped me immediately to say ma am you have more lemons than 6. I had 7 lemons instead and it was a genuine mistake. This place is typically known as the best and biggest Kroger in Allen, but lets be real they are really known that they have the best Starbucks/Kroger employees. You will get better baristas here than you do at a stand alone store. They do need to hire Coral and Emily some help. Hats off to those two ladies as they are amazing. Prices are UP, service is DOWN. Its a SCAVENGER HUNT to shop here as items are relocated weekly and you have to waste time hunting for them. 1 1/2 hour trip turns into 3 1/2 hour trip. At checkout you now have to unload items yourself and sack them as sackers are non-existent and cashiers are precluded from taking items from cart to scan them. Im a CUSTOMER not an employee and Kroger is neither paying me a salary nor offering me a discount to do their job for them. Whats next? CUSTOMERS UNLOADING TRUCKS AND STOCKING SHELVES THEMSELVES???????????? If employees dont like the job and dont want to work the answer is obvious and that answer isnt make the customer do it.

Prices often wrong between ad, shelf sign, and register price. Original review above from 3 years ago still accurate, also lowering to 2 stars, due to them closing one sat of doors at 8:00 PM nightly, which also locks access to shopping carts. 3 out of 4 last visits there were 0 carts available; and once there were no hand baskets. As of 04-September 2021, very few employees wearing masks, and they have removed the 6 spacing stickers from the floor on the checkout lanes.

Let me just give a shout out to Zach who works the night shift. I always shop from 10pm - 12am due to the fact its not as busy, and the majority of that time the shelves are being restocked. Often Ive had stock members reach over and around me to continue stocking without anyone saying excuse me or asking if I needed some help. Tonight I needed an item in the area he was working and he was so nice to ask if I needed help, he apologized as if he was in my way (which he was not). Also, tonight I was looking for a hard-to-find item that sells out (since Covid) just as soon as it comes in. He said if I could be patient, a truck full of merchandise had just arrived and he would let me know if that particular item was part of the shipment. Sure enough the item was, and I was super grateful for the great customer service that Zach gave. Its a big deal to customers when employees are kind and go above & beyond. Although it wasnt a big deal to him, it was to me and I really appreciated his time.

I went to Kroger this morning for a few things and gave a pleasant salutation to Rudy in the seafood department. I usually get the snow crabs legs and he mentioned the current sale on them, to my excitement I requested my order and walked away to continue shopping. Rudy is friendly and usually suggests sale items on things I actually like. To my surprise he walked my crabs to the frozen food section for a personal touch. Rudy exceeded every expectation I could have in the seafood department. He is a true gem and one of main reasons I frequently visit Kroger.

Kroger now CHARGES for CASH BACK!!!! SO WRONG!!! By getting cash back the customer SAVES Kroger money! They get your money on purchases almost instantly, reduces cash on hand in case of robbery, keeps someone from having to count cash (reducing theft) and make a deposit! BAD enough I dont get a discount for scanning and sacking my own groceries because there are NEVER ENOUGH CASHIERS!

That was one of the best Kroger ! The customer service people were friendly. I could find all the things at right shelves and places. The place is safe as well. Parking lot is big and comfortable.

The drive through line is THE WORST. Every time I have to go pick up a prescription i have to plan on spending at least 45 mins in the line. They are understaffed and overwhelmed . The pharmacist aren t very friendly and the female Pharmacist is a major cranky pants. But I keeping coming here because they are the cheapest on a lot of the drugs my family needs otherwise I would avoid this place like the plague.

A great place to go Krogering. Wide aisles, well-stocked shelves, clean environs, and sufficient personnel make this place a fantastic Kroger as far as Krogers go. This place has been great for at least 12 years, and the grounds have always been lovely, of all things. If you need groceries or anything else that Kroger offers, I recommend this Kroger above all.

I moved away and I have got to say, you cannot beat the home feel and friendliness that this Bethany location has always delivered. Yes, it s a grocery store, but growing up near there, it was always the store I went to. Really clean. Very friendly people. Always had plenty of lanes open. Good produce. Great meat. Awesome mark downs. I would tell everyone that I would never shop anywhere but Kroger. But turns out, it s moreso; if I ever want to shop at Kroger, I need to come to this location because the other THREE I have tried out by me now are awful quality and rude customer service but those things need to be written on their google reviews; not yours! You guys are the best. The #1, the Top Kroger in my mind!

My first time visiting this Kroger. Its much larger than the store I usually frequent !! The staff was friendly and courteous !! We got some snow crab legs and they steam them in store !!! Big shout out to the seafood guy who walked the store to find us when the crab legs were done !! My new favorite Supermarket !!

We grocery shop and do the clicklist order here. Every time we have to go in they usually have items fully stocked. When we use the clicklist we rarely have items that were out of stock and if they were the substitutions are pretty good. Customer service is always helpful and a lot of the staff has been beyond helpful when trying to find items in store. This Kroger is pretty awesome and close to home.
