O.M.G! My wife and I had been hunting authentic cheesesteaks for over 3 years in San Antonio.. Went on a small getaway to New Braunfels and found this gem! At first I was worried Id spend money on another whack cheesesteak and would like disappointed and dissatisfied. Welp! To our surprise its THE BEST CHEESESTEAK we have had here in Texas. I had the Chimi Cheesesteak and it was to die for. Both of us were extremely happy and excited to have finally found a great place to have a quick flashback to Philly Cheesesteaks! Were in love and will travel often for some Marco Polo! Sandwich was fresh, they cooked the steak right then and there, the bread had a crispy outside and soft inside which for me is heavenly. Thank for a great meal and wonderful customer service. Cant wait to visit again.

Moved from Ohio a little over a month ago and have been craving a good AUTHENTIC cheesesteak and so happy we found Marco polos!!!! Talked with the owner who cooked each sandwich fresh to order and she herself is from the north! So if you want an amazing cheesesteak fresh to order in a very cozy atmosphere and amazing friendly customer service go on over. It was DELICIOUS! fat and happy momma over here.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Hoagies, Paninis, and Cheesesteak sandwiches! Love the Classic Italian! This is a hidden gem in New Braunfels. Great food, great service and very friendly Mom & Pop owners. We went to this place before our trip to Italy (Amalfi coast) and they even gave us tips on Italy. He looney Braunfels Well I went here because of the sign best Philly cheesesteak but it was not by far . The sandwich I had was just an onion sandwich and did not taste anything like a Philly cheesesteak. And the fries were not cooked all the way . I spent 20 dollars for a sandwich and fries and a can coke . And I could not eat it . The only reason I m giving two stars is cuz the lady let me change out the fries for a bag of chips . Other than that I will not recommend this place!

I have dreams about their Italian sub. Im not kidding. Im in a heavily wooded forest and all the trees are Marco Polo Italian subs. But theres a wolf in this forest. My family and I have been coming here pretty much since they ve opened. It s always been great! Even though we ve moved from the area we try and make it back occasionally because they really do have the best sandwiches! The chicken salad is my favorite and the aioli is incredible. Hi there, just wanted to drop a review on the restaurant. Let me begin by saying first look past the fact that it s a small restaurant because if you do you are in for a real treat. Now once you walk in you will be a little thrown back due to the many items around the restaurant as it give you a vibe of a relaxed and laid back restaurant but also give you that little boutique allure. The menu is vast from sandwiches, panini, Italian shave ice, and more. Now please keep in mind that the restaurant is small and with a number of people will fill the place first, however you will be greeted with service with a smile a fresh, hot and stuffed sandwich with your option of side items. The restaurant is very clean and orderly. When we went the food was hot off the grill and delicious with the garlic aioli sauce. I was stuffed after eating half of my Philly cheesesteak and my spouse ate all of his chicken cheesesteak. The food and atmosphere are sure to fill you up and please your pallet. When your looking for the restaurant look for the yellow building and please take you time the hill is a little steep but manageable. If you re looking for a great place to eat with that mom and pop feel stop by Marco Polo Cheesesteak and give it a try. It s what I would consider a hidden that s out in the open but can be easily past up so take it slow and drive on in for same good eats, you will be glad you did. We look forward to going back. Enjoy, we did! :D Parking: There are only 2 parking spaces in front of the restaurant however if you drive to the back you will have plenty of space in which to park.

My husband was so excited to go here and absolutely loved it. The garlic aioli is absolutely delicious but my garlic chicken panini was not actually grilled. It was tasty but I felt it could have had a little more flavor. He got the real Philly and said it was the best Philly in New Braunfels. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. We both ordered the regular Philly Cheesesteak. I ordered mine with no mushrooms. He also ordered 2 can sodas that were hot and a order of fries. Bill came out to $32. I only ate half. It was literally all onions and peppers. I paid for a onion and pepper sandwich. I took some pictures that i will try to include. My husband forced himself to eat it. I left there with no taste in my mouth but onions. Worst experience ever.

Best sandwich shop in New Braunfels. I love to keep my money local and this shop has delicious, fresh ingredients every single time without fail. Ive never been disappointed. I find myself here several times a month. Highly recommend. My favorites are the Italian sub and the Chicken Caprese panini. Parking: There are only a few spots to park. Two up front and parking in the rear of the building. Its never been overloaded when I go but it can be a bit awkward. Its worth it though.

This little hole in the wall restaurant is hiding some AMAZING food. My husband and I decided to try it and the only thing were sorry about is that we may be gaining a few pounds from eating the delicious sandwiches. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Online, the menu says Half price paninis every Tuesday so i get there and they are not half price. I asked, arent they half price? and her response was OH no, thats 12 years old They are higher price than online price. They dont even look half as good as the pictures do. On top of paying 60 dollars for 5 sandwiches, they werent even good. Jimmy Johns made a better sandwich than what I had here. Maybe I came on a bad day. Maybe they need to fix the online menu. Hear me out... When rating restaurants, there are 3 criteria. Food, Service and Cleanliness (Google has it as Atmosphere) So if all 3 are as expected, or par for the course, I will rate the restaurant 4 Stars. If one of them is below, the other 2 need to be above to pick up the slack. That is my standard. So I will do the negative first: The atmosphere/Cleanliness here is bad. Not just, not good, but bad. To name a few of the things that were out of place, there are a million things that you can buy in there, chachkies, that have nothing at all to do with the restaurant. I dont think Im going to be in there buying a sandwich and realize my sudden need for a stuffed animal, a 10 ft long phone charging cable, and a Coors Light baseball cap. Also, there were taped up pieces of paper (signage) all over. You could clearly see the mop bucket and all of the cleaning supplies as well. The place was cluttered, didnt smell great, wasnt ventilated well and very unorganized. The Service was good. The young lady smiled. She was polite, interacted with people well and had multiple things going on, she seemed to be the only one working at the time. The Food was fantastic! I visited Philadelphia a few years ago and fell in love with authentic Philly Cheesesteaks... On my first bite of this hot Sandwich, I was immediately taken back! They nailed it! Gino and Ray in Philadelphia got nothing on Marco here! As bad as I roasted the atmosphere... The food is so good that I WILL EAT HERE AGAIN!!! I do recommend this place and I dont know if they even read the reviews but if you could could get the facilities in order, I am telling you guys, people will make this part of their restraunt rotation!

Absolutely loved the cheesesteak. They are the only place Ive found in the SA area that actually has NE style bread. The bread is nice and crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. The cheesesteak was excellent. Only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was the fries. Im not a fan of curly fries. Not the easiest fry to make since they never cook evenly.

First time going and I was welcomed with smiles by the staff. Made me feel welcomed and gives you that small town local business vibe. Small place with few tables, more of an order and go kinda place. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with everything. The Philly was good and fresh. You can taste all the ingredients and the bread was soft with a good toast giving it a good bite. Only critique I have was the meat wasn t seasoned enough. Outside of that not bad at all, 8/10 for me. I would like to try their paninis and Italian ice. I would recommend.

First time there, lady at register so sweet and helpful.. huge menu options, grab and go kinda place, I think its like $8-12 for a sub. Not bad for the size. I didnt care for my philly cheese steak I asked for no onions and received Extra Onions.. it was smothered in it. So the 2 bites I did get to eat I didnt taste much flavor. The garlic Mayo is the only flavor I tasted.. so I didnt enjoy it. My only recommendation It needs seasoning.. I will try again in a few months

Review i wish i could give a 10 star. It was my first time going. I had my Service dog in training with her vest on. The lady didn t have any problems with her at all. She even complimented on her looks and her obedience. We were told to give the garlic aioli a try. We loved it, but I wish there was a bread in existence that wouldn t get soggy. That is completely out of her control though. We totally recommend this restaurant to everyone. We ll go back for some more.

We happened upon this place as we were leaving town. It was early afternoon so no crowd. The owner was sweet and makes some AMAZING sandwiches. We all got different sandwiches, hot and cold, all were great! The spicy pepper relish is a must try and to die for. We will be back given the chance!

I like the fact that it is a small family owned business. The woman working the register was nice and the service was fast. That being said, for a place that specializes in Philly cheesesteaks they need some serious help in the kitchen. The sandwich was small, dry and lacked the right amount of cheese. The meat was pretty bland and the portion size of fries was insulting. Felt like I got ripped off for $14. Jersey mikes has a better cheesesteak.

This place is absolutely amazing. The sign in the kitchen says it all... the food is definitely made with love. My kids wanted to give it a trillion stars but I told them we werent the federal government LOL. Dont waste your time with any other place, you get an excellent sandwich for the price. The garlic Mayo was fantastic.

I wasn t impressed with this location at all. we ordered a Philly cheesesteak and we received just a Philly steak no cheese. The meat, hardly any, was extremely dry. There was more bread than the meat, WHERE S THE BEEF . The employee was extremely nice and helpful. Wouldn t recommend this location!!
