We hosted my daughters 5th birthday party at Flour Power and it was awesome! The kids had a great time cooking while the parents got to sit back and relax. Their team is outstanding - they are well-trained and know how to work with kids of all ages. It was nice not having to stress over any of the details - they took care of basically everything. I showed up with some party favors (which they would have provided if I had selected that option) and that was it. I highly recommend Flour Power for any parent looking for an easy, fun, and reasonably priced kids birthday party.

Had my daughters 7th birthday party here and it was a hit. One of the best parties yet. I gave 4 stars because the party theme was non existent. We chose the barbie theme and the only barbie mentioned or displayed was on the cake that we brought in. There was no barbie sign or anything. That was a disappointment. With the cost of the party and the promise of a theme, they could have had barbie balloons, plates, napkins, or something.

What an absolute gem of a place! I wish this type of thing had existed when I was little and dreamed of being a baker. Enrolled my eight year old daughter for a week of half day camp. She could not stop raving about how amazing it was. She made friends, she tried new foods, and she loved all the teachers, especially Ms. Isabel and Ms. Hannah. She was quite sad that she couldnt go longer but school is starting We will be looking out for special days where we can do an evening or day to keep up her love of cooking!

The camp was okay but it s not really engaging for older kids. All you do is add ingredients not what I was expecting but it was ok. I wanted to really learn to cook on the stove and all we did while the instructors did the real cooking was sit there with nothing to do; younger kids were coloring but my friend and I are 11, we don t want to color. That was boring. For younger kids I think they will enjoy it most of and the food was good at least.

Everyone that works here is so friendly and great with the kids. My daughter just did the half day camp and now wants to go everyday. lol Highly recommend even if it s just one class or the camp classes!

We went for one of their Mothers Day promos & had an absolute blast! The staff--Lindsey, Molly, & Mara--were so attentive, supportive, & kind. They offered the perfect balance of interaction alongside letting us try things out on our own. 10/10, highly recommend for all ages!

We just had my daughters birthday party here and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredible and lead an interactive and fun party for the kids. Everything was very organized and there was little for the parents to do, except enjoy watching the kids have a blast making tasty treats! Thank you, Flour Power!

It was simple and fun for the kids. They enjoyed making the pizza bombs and smores! The two young ladies who were running the show or cookout were very friendly and capable and the kids bonded well with them. My daughter loved her mario bros birthday party and her friends did too. My wife already left a review, but I wanted to add that one child dropped her cheese on the floor. I asked the host in the grey shirt for another cheese cube as a result (mind you additional cheese was sitting in front of this host on the bar) and she said they didnt have anymore available to provide. (its sitting infont of her where I can clearly see it and again were taking about one single CUBE of cheese! Do they expect kids to not do stuff like this? They were 5 and 6 years old.) The other host in the red shirt then provided the cheese cube while the senior host in the gray shirt gave her a rude look. I would say of all the issues we had with this party the most obvious and largest contributing fault was that host wearing the grey shirt. Contradictory to the other host most of the time, lacked manners, respect and just brought the overall energy of the party to a really low vibration. I will be apologizing to the parents of our guests. It was an awkward experience. The owner needs to do a much better job vetting her staff. This were no reason this host should have been in charge and training other hosts for obvious reasons and certainly not during birthdays. Terrible personality. I really think we should be reimbursed not only what we were overcharged as we were, but also above and beyond that. Services rendered were pitiful.

This was a horrible experience for numerous reasons. (Allen location) 1. The theme of the party was DOLLS per their list. The invite asks kids to being their favorite action figure doll or stuffed animal as we will be dressing them up to bake sweet treats. Not at any point during the party was their a reference for this, decor for this. Absolutely nothing. The dolls were not mentioned. 2. The party was in a back room you could not see upon arrival. There wasnt a sign or an employee upfront to help. I thought I went to the wrong location and I booked the thing. There was a different party up front who guests had to constantly interrupt to figure out if they were in the right place. Upon figuring it out, then you find guests from the first party have to interrupt the second constantly as the bathroom is in the backroom. 3. The hostess was AWFUL and incredibly rude. I dont know her name (glasses and a grey shirt). I am the birthday girls mom and she never even said hello. She was quiet, rudely kept insinuating the kids wouldnt listen but would go on talking anyways instead of waiting for the rooms attention so noone knew what was going on. I brought my own cake and she kept telling me they couldnt eat it yet. I marked in my reservation present opening time and she also refused to allow us to do that because the muffins were in the oven. The kids were just sitting there bored and I said well how long will they be baking? And she responded 12 minutes so I said so she can open some presents then? And she said just a couple and then she needs to stop. First of all who the heck is this woman to tell me when we can do anything? Its our party and the kids were bored to death. They cook one at a time and it was incredibly misleading. There was only water out. I said I reserved lemonade. They said oh well its in the fridge?? I had to go get it and pass it out myself. Thank god one guest brought extra party favors or the kids would have been sooo bored. At the end the host literally said partys over, everybody leave. All of the parents were flabbergasted. 4. I only had 11 kids. They charged me for 14 at $25 an extra kid plus $8 for the aprons. I was way overcharged. This mess of a party that you could literally do better at home in your backyard cost me $600. Even with the other kids I was charged for who werent there I am not sure how we got to $600. 5. One employee told my kids they could take home the balloons and on the way out another employee snatched them and said they needed them for another party after. 6. The food cooked was pretty disgusting. Specifically the muffins. Do NOT book here. Do NOT. They dont answer the phone so I am waiting on a call back about what I was charged. I am just really disappointed overall. The website description was so inviting and the reality of it was far below any professional facility standard.

We celebrated my daughters 10th birthday party at Flour Power in Allen. The venue is fantastic. The staff was wonderful and patient with all the girls. My daughter chose the Paris Cafe theme, they made French spaghetti and cream puffs. They have so many different themes you can choose from. My daughter and her friends had such an awesome time, we highly recommend them!

Took my daughter for 2 days of camp here over winter break. Day 1 was ok enough she said. Day 2 I received a call that my daughter wanted to be picked up. I was there within 15min and the moment she was in the truck she broke down in tears. She mentioned that one of the employees there was very condescending, rude, and made her feel quite embarrassed. My daughter has never mentioned feeling this way anywhere else or by anyone else ever. I was very proud of her for speaking up to have me called to get out of that environment. Obviously a very disappointing situation. I ve called twice and left a message for the owner to call me. I don t typically write bad reviews, and am simply hoping the owner will finally call me back to discuss this situation.

This was by far the easiest birthday-party-planning experience Ive ever had. They took care of everything. The kids were attentive and engaged and I was so impressed with their cooking skills! This was the first time we went there for my daughters friends birthday party.I was so impressed with the style and set up of the area all clean and highly professional in look. Everything was well organized in terms of kids activities and first-hand cooking experience. Kids made cookies and garlic knots pizzas. The staff was great. Kids had coloring time to make their own chef hats and aprons. My kids were happy. I will definitely do my daughters party over there next year.

We recently celebrated my daughters 9th birthday here and we were so impressed. The girls made ice cream flower pots and pizza. I just have to say how amazing everything turned out. My daughter is a very shy girl, and Angie and her staff did an excellent job in making her feel comfortable and overall happy. My daughter felt so special around her friends. It was the first time she ever had an event outside of the home with her friends, and Im so glad we chose Flour Power Allen! Angie made sure to include everyone, even my 4 year old. Thank you for being so kind, fun and patient. As a mom of three girls, we will definitely return!

We had a fairly large group with mostly younger kids (3-4yo) and they LOVED it! The Parents also thought the party was great to have here. The only thing that I would have liked more of was time. An hour and a half was just not enough time for the kids to get to cook, enjoy the food and socialize a little bit. We were not able to open my Daughters gifts with her friends present because we were out of time and another party was anxiously waiting on us to finish up. All in all, a great time had for the Kiddos!

I celebrated my birthday (38) with 10 friends at flour power, Allen. Angie was incredible and supportive from the first minute. She accommodated the menus to fit our needs and was welcoming, nice and professional. We made home made pasta, marinara sauce, alfredo sauce, and garden salads that were delicious. I highly recommend this place for grown up events (and not only for kids). The place is beautifully designed, intimate and cozy. Thank you Angie!

Flour Power is beautiful, clean, and my preschool son had the best time cooking (then eating.) The staff was wonderfully patient and allowed the children to participate in every step of the baking and decorating process. Its such a cool place and we cant wait to go back!
