Cool place, the staff was friendly. The bread stick was very delicious and the cheese pizza was good. It was a little too greasy and the marinara sauce was a bit too watered down but overall it was worth it and I would definitely eat there again.

Love Dante s. I ll drive to the mall just to get a slice of pizza and breadsticks. Best marina sauce in town too. Always friendly and prices are great!! I used to really like this place years ago! It has really gone downhill. Ordered a slice of cheese, and it was so stale as they were slicing it. Looked like it had been sitting there for days. Got a small pasta salad and had to ask the guy to include all the ingredients, not just plain pasta. The employees did not seem to like each other very much either. It was super awkward. ***owner responded a year after my review posted. I was sharing my experience one year ago, so kudos for fixing the issues.

Pizza is really good here and I love the bread sticks. The lasagne is delicious as well and I always love the pasta salad. The only thing I would complain about is the Sizing of the pizza as a whole. Ordered a large pizza and it was more of a medium pizza. I believe I paid roughly $16 for that large and added a 2oz ranch for a total of $17. I just cant get over paying that much for such a small pizza. I feel Joes pizza is a better buy, a large pizza there is about the size of a XL pizza. I wouldnt order here again in the future unless it was a single slice deal. The combo meals are great for dining in there.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We came in and they had just opened. We were in a rush so I asked how long it would take for the calzones and when one of the workers replied 12 minutes, I replied no thank you, we will just take the cheese and the OWNER made a very rude remark under his breath, didn t even apologize, when he looked up and realized I had heard him. I asked a 3rd worker for his name and he too was rude and replied with why? As a business owner myself, this was super unprofessional and uncalled for. Won t be returning.

Had a really weird experience. I went up to the counter to buy a drink and they helped two men who were in line AFTER me and completely ignored me standing right in front of them 1st in line at the counter. ( Im a woman) The guy who worked there, seemed like the owner, called over me to ask if he could take my son-in-laws order. My son-in-law said he was with me so the owner FINALLY asked what I wanted. Didnt apologize or say anything. Just took my money and gave me drinks. Was so rude! Even my son-in-law thought it was so weird. It was as if they didnt want to help a woman. It was kind of eerie....

Such a hit or miss. Food was old with the exception of a roll that they had to make since they ran out. You are expected to keep an eye on when the food they didnt have is ready and go get it yourself. Guess its so hard to bring it to the table like most places. Also, they now charge a 3.5% fee on credit cards. Like seriously, a restaurant charging to use a card.

I hadnt been there in years, but I can say their pizza used to look and be good. I used to think they had the best pizza. However, I went today and not only was the cashier guy rude. The pizza was not at all what it used to be. The cashier guy didnt greet any customers nor thank them. When he handed me my pizza, he just tossed it on the counter and said nothing. Remember you chose the job, the job didnt choose you. If you have poor customer skills, why work there. Even my 7yr old said the pizza looked disgusting. And chose not to eat his slice afterall. I tried offering it to someone else. But, no one wanted it so we ended up just tossing both slices. I had bitten off of mine. And it definitely was not the great pizza it once was years ago.. Will definitely not be returning.. Not only because the pizza is no longer good. But that customer service & attitude is so poor.. I also noticed the 3.5 % fee if you use a card. Asked him a question, and all he did was nod his head no verbal response..

Have been eating at Dantes for for about 12 years now and loved this place under the old ownership. They changed ownership anout 3 years ago now and its just gone down hill. They never have any help but very heats from old employees its because the new owners are horrible and thats why they cant keep help. My wife and I ate there Sunday and there was a sign saying menu prices reflected cash payment. ..debit and credit card users would pay 3.5% more or processing. Our bill was 20.21 but after credit card payment it was 21.49. The higher yiur bill the more yiu pay for nothing....just paying for them what they should be paying as part of their operating expense. Sorry but prices are high enough alreay...already... menu prices have also increaed...increased... I just dont think they should stick it to the customer for simply paying with a card. I feel these owners are going to run this business into the ground which is sad as it used to be one of my fav places for Italian food.

Make sure not to leave a blank tip spot on the receipt. they will fill it out for you and pay themselves for slow service and mediocre food. Then when you try to call to straighten it out they just hang up on you. They have been reported to the Texas better business bureau and the mall management office. Check your statements folks.

If I could rate 10 stars I would. My boyfriend grew up in Abilene and we recently moved back from San Angelo and he took me here. Dante s is literally heaven on earth if you love pizza & pastas. I ve yet to go through their whole menu, but everything I ve gotten so far is better than the one before. Customer service is 100% and you can tell the employees take pride in this restaurant. Weve been coming to Dantes since the late 90s and will continue to be patrons. Heres the deal, this is not a 5 dollar bargain pizza. This pizza costs more because of the outstanding quality ingredients used in their dishes, but still isnt expensive. The portion sizes are very very generous. If you want top quality pizza and pasta go here. The staff is always smiling and friendly and yes, the food is guaranteed to be oven hot. Try it out!

My son has made this one of his favorite pizza places. He enjoys the special that includes two large slices of pizza with pepperonies added and a drink. Dantes makes great pizza but my long time favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich and the Philly cheese! Oh man and these fries are literally the best in town....even over wingstop and im not getting paid to say that. My wife and i eat here regularly and are never disappointed. My wife just reminded me to mention the vege calzone which is her favorite. Everything is super really you cant go wrong. Also the staff is very helpful and kind. Love these guys!

I love this place. They have the best pizza and strombollies. We go there every time we go to the mall. I highly recommend going here. The staff are very nice as well.

Sadly we love this pizza but tonight is our last night ordering since the awesome delivery driver let me know tonight was the last night they would deliver to me after they have delivered here for years. I appreciate him trying to get them to keep delivering here. I live in north Abilene and Im out of their bounds. Guess its Dominos for me and mine.
