Best breakfast burrito s in all of Abilene. Gives you a decent sized burrito for the price you pay. Not a burrito the size of a dollar bill with barely any ingredients in it like some other places in town. Staff is always very friendly. Only recommendation is they definitely need to expand as there isn t nearly enough room in the small waiting/dining area.

We have been coming to this place for breakfast and lunch, and every time we have the best customer service and the best cuisine offered. It is a small restaurant and it is located next to a gas station but dont let looks be the judge of this gem. The breakfast rush can be so busy at times that the line is out the door. This is because we all know the food is the best. The cashier has been an excellent guide of the menu and has given me great suggestions. Their flour tortillas are huge and the best homemade flavor you could eat a dozen by themselves. The beans and rice are truly authentic and come most plates. The tortas are delish. I only wish they put beans on it, I feel that made it less traditional. Their fajitas are amazing, Ive never had a more flavorful and moist chicken in my life. Their gorditas are my all-time favorite. We tried them with multiple meats and can not find the wrong substitute, they are all so good. Try this place and escape to paradise inside a little hole in the wall home style restaurant.

The crumbs here are spicy but the most delicious . Omelette with egg and spicy green sauce, the potatoes are fried but in the cleanest oil, because they dont look stained at all. And the beans 10/10

I have the pleasure of living practically next door to this place and even though they dont have a drive-thru or deliver they hook it up for your wallet and your taste buds. I think theyve got the La popular and Hernandez beat. Bueno isnt Bueno anymore but atleast Rojas isnt Rosas. 5 stars all the way.

This is now 2x Ive called in an order. They tell me 10 minutes and I wait 20 to come pick up to give them time and make sure its ready. Well I sit for another 40 mins just for them to tell me they either lost the order or they ran out. Why not telle that when I get there!!!! Places like that frustrate me. I drive all the way across town for that place. To me it saysOur customers are not valued or their time Very disappointed. The simple fact that they dont do anything to fix it but just let you leave unsatisfied and disappointed.

I was in Abilene last weekend for my grandmothers funeral and the family went to Rojas for breakfast one morning. I was a little concerned when we drove up but that was quickly set aside by a very friendly lady at the counter when we ordered. The breakfast was great! I had the Huevos Ala Mexicana with Barbacoa, which was incredibly tender. One of the specials was horchata and it was so refreshing and not too sweet. The star to me though was the salsa!!! Its spicy but that is what I love. Im glad we drove to Abilene because I got a quart of the salsa to take home!! If I drive anywhere near Abilene, Im making a special trip to Rojas!!

The menudo is legit! It tastes like the version I m most familiar with being from a border town, instead of the more Tex-Mex version you find here. I ordered a large and it made several meals. The ratio of meat to hominy is just right and the flavor is perfectly balanced. I also got a chicharrón burrito which was just the right amount of spice. This is my favorite Mexican food place in Abilene.
