I would not recommend this attorney.. She will drop you 20 days before a Custody Hearing, and not let her clients know about her withdrawing from your case .. My niece lost 4 of her girls, due to Mrs . Morris not reaching out to her .. And my niece was not notified about the hearing, and Kids Father got custody, and no visits for my niece.. I did report her to the Texas State Bar , for her actions, and results to case .. case is public Ms. Lugo , and she was never served a motion of your withdraw, and was not told about her custody hearing, til she was a no show for court due to your withdrawal and everything went in his favor.. this is not a lie , these are FACTS . Why , would anyone make a this up .. case was 4 years ago. And she still has not seen her girls , due to what all went in his favor , on whatever he asked for .. she wasn t there to defend herself or was aware of the custody hearing. That is the attorney responsibility to inform client about all Custody Hearings. These is not a lie Mrs . Morris

First of all I want to say that I would never ever want another lawyer!! Mrs. Morris did so much for us and her staff that we are super grateful. We never thought we could get the adoption done so quickly n easily but Mrs. Morris made it happen! So I would recommend Mrs. Morris n staff to anyone that needs a lawyer. Lee Ann is the best attorney I have ever had in the past 13 years working on my case with my daughter, it has been an up hill battle for the past several years trying to get custody of my daughter, Lee Ann and her team are extremely professional and understanding great people in general I can not say enough great things about them they pulled it off and got me custody of my daughter and being a man in the state of Texas it s a rare thing to happen but they did it and I could never thank them enough for there hard work and prayers. I would 100% use Mrs Morris again if I ever need her in the future.

As a father going through a divorce with kids I knew it would be an uphill battle to win custody of my kids. Leeann and her office really cared about me individually and each time I called with new evidence that could help me win custody they were on it. At the end I won custody of my two boys and could not be happier. Leeann knows the system and will guide you each step of the way!

Recently, we retained Lee Ann and her firm for representation. Turned out to be an excellent decision! It s the first time I ve ever had to retain a lawyer and Lee Ann and her staff were wonderful. They were professional, accessible and friendly. During our ordeal, I found out how complex our legal system can be and how much of it I didn t comprehend. Lee Ann and her staff were able to walk us through the process and make sure we understood everything that was happening at any given moment. Lee Ann didn t have to help me, but she did and for that I will be forever grateful.

We used Lee Ann for my mothers estate and she took great care of us. Communication with both Lee Ann and her assistant Shannon was always prompt and clear. If we had any questions at all, they were researched and responded to accordingly. We will be using her for another legal issue in the near future and have full confidence in her and her team.

She represented me for several years on a family case.Never prepared in court always had to turn back on her torn up notebook. Never returned her calls always had her secretary or Shannon call back. Talked a strong game until hired then fell flat. Never wanted to give receipts out. Charged me for calling talking to the secretary even though they never kept me informed. Shannon run the show in the office and could be very rude . I do not recommend this attorney at all . Refuses to give my files without a $41 fee. I know she doesnt respond back on the reviews, its the one that likes to get rude with people in her office. Needless to say I paid her over $6000 to get what the other party wanted Lee Ann why would I want to come by I FIRED YOU

I want recommend Ms. Ruff and her assistant Kalana being the most professional yet personal and highly compassionate. I would HIGHLY recommend the law office of Lee Ann Morris to anyone. If your having any legal matters of any kind I would definitely want her on my side. She s extremely professional, knowledgeable and not to mention great at what she does. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion because we have freedom of speech, but just to badmouth someone because they didn t like the outcome well I guarantee you with her on your side it was probably the best outcome anyway. With that being said she didn t get where she s at by not knowing what s what and who s who In the court room. I can personally say she wasn t telling me she s afraid to make the judge mad etc. regardless of the outcome that anyone receives I guarantee you she s extremely qualified in any case that she s on. With that being said I would definitely give Mrs. Morris and her entire office 100 stars if I could .

Lee Ann was the second attorney I had hired to try and get parental rights terminated before my sons biological father was out of prison. The first attorney I had for almost a year and nothing was done. I went in and had a consultation with Shannon (paralegal) and hired Lee Ann that day. Within a month or so I had a court date. Then COVID-19 happened and I was worried I wouldn t have court. She made sure to keep me informed during all the unknowing. We ended up have court over zoom in her office and ended the day with the BEST possible outcome. 10/10 would recommend Lee Ann Morris. Her staff is top notch as well! Always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had.

I needed an attorney fast. Lee Ann was recommended and I saw she had several positive reviews. I had 3 teenage kids that were taken away under false pretenses by CPS. Lee Ann was near-impossible to get ahold of and hardly ever in the office. Lee Ann was meek and mild in court. She was ill-prepared and did not show up early as most well-informed attorneys do. My father told me I was in trouble before the day even started - even though she had not even opened her mouth yet. He was absolutely right. He is a marshal and has seen his fair share of attorneys and the great ones get there early and are ready before the judge. During the hearing, Lee Ann had to keep being reminded of who was who and what was what - something that is hard to do in the middle of court. When I told her what I wanted to be done, she told me that was not a good idea to make the judge angry. We lost the hearing. When I asked her to file additional orders with the court, she refused stating she did not want to make the judge angry. She told me I would be lucky to get my kids back within the year if at all. I hired an outside lawyer to help her and she refused to work with him, so I fired her. He not only had my kids back within the month, he had the CPS case totally dismissed. Do NOT hire Lee Ann Morris if you need a tough and determined lawyer.

Ms. Morris was difficult to get in touch with. She was not aggressive in court against one of Abilenes top attorneys. Multiple payments I made were not posted to my account properly. I had to provide proof in order to get payments added to my account. Would not recommend her if you want a tough aggressive attorney in your corner to handle your child custody issues.
