The construction block anyway of going in to park or drive thru. made me detour all around the whole mall to get blocked off again. I dont how the other cars got in without cutting through. They cut off both sides. Some cars just ignore the dude telling ppl to detour and went in anyway.

I had to check out the newly rebuilt McDonalds by the mall of Abilene is sterile and lacks character. Its the newest concept in fast-food dining. You walk up to a kiosk and point and click. There is one small customer service area, but no one was manning it. In the past, the old building served as a social center where friends and family came to meet and eat. Now, the drive-thru sees most the business and I know why. I didnt get what I thought I ordered, and the food was cold and tasteless, well except for the strange chemical taste. What happened to you McDonalds? You used to be an American icon. Sad!

The new McDonald s looks nice and clean, but the food is cold and the service is slow. It looks like it s designed for pick up orders so when you sit and eat your food, it s just as cold as if you were to order it through GrubHub or Uber eats. You can t get refills and you can t customize your sandwiches because there s nobody at the counter .

Fries were cold. Stood at the front register for almost 10 minutes. 4 or 5 employees all standing by drive thru talking and on there phone. 2 employees talking to friends in the lobby, not 1 person said Ill be right with you, can I help you NOTHING. I had to yell over to the group by drive thru if I could please have a refill on my soda. Absolutely no customer service skills. And very rude to just look at you,say nothing and keep on gossiping and on the phone! $20 an hour my ass. Parking: Lots of parking. Handicap and curbside Kid-friendliness: Yes brand new play place Wheelchair accessibility: I didnt see any ramps.

I placed two orders through the McDonalds app, both of which were charged to my account, and I received confirmation emails for each. When my boyfriend arrived at the store to pick up the orders, he was told that I needed to confirm my arrival in the app, which I did for one of the orders. However, the second order didn t provide this option. I then called the store to provide the order numbers directly, only to be informed that neither order had gone through. This was concerning, as the app clearly indicated the need to confirm pickup, which wouldn t have happened if the orders weren t received by the system. Overall, this experience left me frustrated, and I suspect that the orders may have been mishandled by staff. The lack of accountability and the poor service I encountered are disappointing.

What an absolute terrible experience. From the time our order was placed to the time we got it, it had been roughly an hour and twenty minutes! Even then we were still missing food! Adults and children waiting around for their food, people in theirs cars in the pick up spaces having to come in because no one was talking to anyone. They were just setting the bags of food on the counter and walking back into the kitchen. No one was manning the counter to manage where the food went, I saw random kids just grabbing stuff off the counter. It was chaotic!

9/25/2024 Absolutely WORST experience ever. Walked In with my son for Dine In. The new remodeled building seems too compact and not free flowing at all. Also everything is order automated. You cant even pour your own drinks anymore, that is if we even got our drinks. Walked in at 4:19, placed our order on the touch screens, by 4:58, still did not receive any part of our order, not even our drinks for the wait. You would think not having cashiers anymore, they would have extra hands in the back to speed up orders. There were several people also waiting, one an HOUR!!! We almost hit the hour mark had I not asked for a refund. Would even rate this 1 star. The franchise owner needs to know about this.

We went to McDonalds because thats what my grandbaby wanted for his birthday lunch. I had sweet tea, double hamburger plain and french fries and I became extremely ill throwing up, diarrhea and very dizzy about an hour or so later. The tea didnt exactly taste great it was quite dark compared to every other glass Ive had. I guess theyre using the whole plausible deniability schick that if the restaurant in question doesnt acknowledged the fact that they gave me food poisoning then it didnt happen because Ive heard nothing from the store. In the meantime Ive had to throw my clothes away because this incident happened 4 days ago and Ive been to ill to do anything with them last tonight. Living an hour away from the restaurant and having to throw up in my cup that contained the bad tea and shi!!ing myself all the way home is an experience Ill never forget. I dont know how Im going to get my drivers seat clean. Such awesome customer service for someone thats been eating at McDonalds since I was on solids 50 years ago. Im not asking for a million dollars just some acknowledgment and maybe to have my clothes replaced and my car professionally cleaned.

We came thru the drive thru the other day, and ordered two orders. The cashier was nice but when we got to the pick up window, they handed us one bag and tried to shut the window and we had to explain we had two orders, so he got the other bag and handed it to us and we checked our orders and it was missing a few items, we live almost a hour away and came to them to spend our money, and yet they got mad because we checked our food before we left the manager just stood there with a attitude then rolled his eyes and went and got the stuff and was hateful in the way he responded as well, acted like we were lying and my sister n law had to show was even showing him the bag anyway he got the food and just pretty much shoved the bag towards the guy at the window to give to us. I dont know about yall but thats not someone Id want to be manager at my business, especially a family business. Smh. Was a horrible experience.. bad day or not, theres no excuse for that.

I like my burger cooked and not raw. Got all the way home 17 miles away and started eating and realized it was raw. Had to wait over 15 mins for it there and wasn t even done. Didn t get a straw for my drink in the bag and kid said he would have to go find one. This location is going down the tubes. It s something every time you go there. Most of the time they can t get an order right or try to keep your change. I have gotten asked several times if I wanted my change back. One time it was $1.73 getting back. The person said most times people don t want their change. I didn t go back because of the time to get there and back

In my opinion, this is the best McDonalds in Abilene! Some other ones get my order wrong occasionally, or they take a really long time, but this one doesnt have any of those problems! Always get my order right, always fast, and everyone is super friendly! Theres also a great Play Place, I havent gone in it in quite a long time, but I always had a good time! This is definitely my go-to Mickey Ds!!

This is a pretty good Mickey Ds. I had them mixed up with the one in Brownwood. Here we got our order and everything was good. The drive through line is kind of treacherous though. If you have small kids and eating inside,hold their hands going in and out. That line wraps right tight around the entire building past the front doors. This place is also right on the mall of Abilenes parking lot and the other side is on a very very busy street ( thats doing a lot of construction work. so traffic is thick and backed up . )With hiway access that is about 10 feet from McDonalds parking lot, and a kind of drop off, its just not safe for kids . At least not safe for our kids to go in without a big person I would think. The inside is nice and clean. Bathrooms as well. Staff friendly. If you are wheelchair mobile ,be careful. Once again because of the traffic and drive through line passing right by the entrance.

Inside is dirty. No ice and the fountain drinks were gross. Ordered on the app for the food to be dropped off at the table but the workers never brought the order. I had to go try to find out what happened to the food and they had just left it on the counter. Then a kid threw up in one of the tunnels in the playground so we just left at that point. Ordered a qp for my pregnant wife after a long day just for her to take a bite and get raw meat. I take it back and the manager wants to claim well raw meat wont hurt the baby I been pregnant before. I work fast food and yes raw meat can have serious affects on a unborn child. Got a refund instead of remaking it because obviously the cooks dont know how to check there meat properly. Never had problems before but after hearing one of the managers claim that raw meat is okay I definitely will not be back and do not recommend eating here unless you want uncooked meat. Well, we havent been there for years. Thought Id take the grand. Surprised there is no breakfast items for kids. Had to get a big meal so he could have hotcakes. No problem i shared with him. Had to go back for plastic ware, even though they marked my order as a to go order. Grand wanted to go on playground, sign said socks required and you can purchase at counter. Nope not available. So we were going without. Sign says open at 9am. We waited, didnt open. Kid went to ask when they open. Girl said 9, he said its after nine, then she said she didnt know when. We waited 10 more minutes and nothing. Not impressed! McFarland used to be great for kids. We hadnt been in 10 or so years, dont think Ill be back.

I rarely post, but today I went to McDonald s in Abilene texas Buffalo Gap location. I had placed an order on their mobile app, and when I got there the line was all the way around the building so I pulled up to the location for curbside put in my number and waited. They serviced all the vehicles in line and I still haven t received my food so I went in and at the counter there was a person in a red shirt and I asked if he was a manager he replied yes I asked about my order and very rudely. He said we re working on it and I replied it s been 15 minutes and I still don t have my food and he rudely replied again we re working on it. I went back to my vehicle and waited a few more minutes still no food so I left because I had an appointment at the hospital I had to be at, and they were gonna make me late. Their service and the interaction with a manager was terrible today. It appears they only want to service the drive up line so if you want anything from the restaurant better use the drive up line and I don t have any interaction with their manager.

The head manager was really loud and yelling at her employees. She overall was taking forever to get my food together when she had only one order up and all they were doing was yelling and screaming. We waited for approximately 16 minutes for cold food. I asked for no mayo and they accidentally put it on the bun and then just scraped it off as if I wouldnt notice, and they did the same with my roommates sandwitch with the ketchup he requested not to have on it as he is allergic to tomatoes. They had a rude drive through cashier, order was wrong, fries werent salted, and Im reading reviews and seeing pictures of roaches in the restaurant. Pretty much everything was sloppily put together. The drive through guy gave me a large drink that was about 3/4 full and got mad when I asked him to fill it up. Im not usually one to complain about fast food service, but this was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had from a mcdonalds. I wont be coming back to this location. I cant believe management lets their employees behave in this manner.

Absolutely phenomenal. A rare work of art did they bring to me in such professional fashion. Their ice cream machine was finally not shut down for cleaning or maintenance, therefore, I was able to enjoy the fine craftsmanship that is the soft serve vanilla ice cream served on a top quality cone. Beautiful

Its a McDonalds... Ive only done drive thru so far. The service is good and people are generally friendly. It is the same as most McDs. Dry buns, ok fries, and warm burgers. McNuggets seem a little weird but are for toddlers. They do have a playland for kids. For me, its just on the cheap. I get the 3.50 bundles. Full meals and combos are just as expensive for great food somewhere else. Kid-friendliness: They have a Playland for kids

Stopped to use the bathroom and eat. NOT AFTER SEEING THE MENS ROOM! There was an employee sitting outside the bathroom door and I told her after seeing that bathroom, she was brave to eat that food. She just laughed. So you cant tell me your staff doesnt know this place is DISGUSTING. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Consistently give quarter pounders instead of a double. Its a 4 dollar upcharge and 3 times now weve been jiped. The restaurant itself has a bug problem and is generally not clean except the table tops. The management team at this location is clearly failing and is reliant on their location for continued business.

It s was absolutely terrible I waited in line at this McDonald s from 1:28pm to 1:39pm for a single Caramel Frappe. LIKE HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A CARAMEL FRAPPE AND THE WORKERS WERE JUST STANDING AROUND!?!?!? THE MANAGER NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR SLUGGISH BEHAVIOR.

This mcdonalds is trash, they prioritize delivery orders so your forced to pull up and wait even when theres no one else in the drive through. Dont bother coming here early between 3:30-6am for breakfast unless you have cash as its when they randomly do whatever and their system is down. Only mcdonalds ive ever been to that does this and is consistently doing it. I worked at mcdonalds as a kid and never had any issues taking card payments so their excuses are just that, excuses. Overall, go to the mcdonalds on n1st. Avoid this trash heap.
