We have been going here since September of 2023.( my daughter is 2 1/2. We had some issues in the beginning however the director and regional director were so great. We live so far away now and need to find a school closer however we donot want to move. I would definitely recommend the teachers and staff here. My daughter asks to go to school on the weekend that says a lot. Thank you for taking care of my baby.

The teachers are very caring and great with teaching the kids what they need for the milestone accordingly with their age. The Director and Admin personnel upfront are very helpful and provide you with any information you need. The environment is clean and oragnized. The teachers are doing great and doing their best to update me daily on my kids progress which I really appreciate.

I absolutely love working for Children s Lighthouse!! I ve been working here 7 years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about working here. The director is always willing to help. The curriculum offered at Childrens lighthouse is a hands on curriculum that allows the children to learn through play.

Out of all the daycares I toured in wylie, they were the ones I felt more comfortable with. The staff is so welcoming EVERY day I walk in and walk out. It s so refreshing and I love my 3 years olds teacher she s the sweetest!!

Our child transitioned to daycare after being home for the first 2yrs, and the staff made the transition very smooth and easy for the both of us! With live cameras and updates being sent out throughout the day, it really puts our mind at ease. This facility is really nice and always clean. The staff is very welcoming as well.

I really wanted this place to be great, the assistant director is very sweet and the tour seemed great. Unfortunately I had to pull my kids out after 2 days. Everyday I picked up my kids their diapers were dirty and their clothes soaked in their urine. I brought extra clothes in case of emergency so there was no need for my kids to sit in soiled clothes. They were also so hungry and thirsty at pick up they were shoveling food into their mouths as fast as they could on the drive home. They are severely understaffed and shuffled my kids around from class to class without notice or any communication. When I brought my concerns to the staff they acted like it wasn t a big deal, no apology, nothing. 10/10 DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE FOR THEIR SAFETY.

Bad management and poorly run daycare, some of the infant teachers are really good though. Management keeps moving kids around (how many? is the only question they ask teachers) they want to maximize profit at the cost of quality, they charge a premium, but give you sub-standard service. Food is mostly carbs and sugar, again to maximize profit. The few good teachers left and most of the ones remaining are not passionate about the work they do. This place has huge potential, great concept, but greed ruins it completely.

Very friendly and caring teachers and staff. I feel my child is safe in their care and that she is learning something daily. I appreciate that her activities are posted throughout the day as well as what she eats and how much she eats. They also contact me quickly regarding anything with my daughter, sick or hurt. I also love that I can check cameras at any time to see how things are going and i always see her happy and playing or the teachers interacting with all the children, playing games, singing, or signing. My daughter is excited to see her teachers and play after we drop her off and every teacher I pass by knows her and her name. I would definitely recommend this daycare

Front office is very pleasant to work with. Staff is always helpful and welcoming. My children are always excited when they are preparing to go to Childrens Lighthouse. The leadership style of Ms Kenya is contagious! She is always willing to work with me, the parent, on issues concerning my children and will to offer solutions. The staff members are awesome. I feel comfortable after dropping of my kids knowing that they in good hands until pickup time. It s not that all great with a few things I noticed over time for the price being charged. But it s alright. One thing I want to mention for sure, to make my daughter staying here better is that we really appreciate one teacher name, Ms Manjit who s a wonderful warm, motherly, caring woman. Every time when we drop my daughter if she s there, her Dad or me we re always very happy and worry free. My daughter moved to a different room now and some days she comes to the room where my daughter is at and we ll get so happy when we see her there and I know for sure my daughter feels so welcomed when she sees her there. Both of our kids have gone here and one currently does. We ve tried a few different daycare s, but Children s Lighthouse is more consistent. Their staff are very friendly and seem to have the least turn around rate compared to the others. We also notice a more elevated learning behavior they are definitely picking up and retaining more knowledge here at Children s Lighthouse compared to the others we ve tried.

Too many stringent policies. I have contacted other daycare facilities regarding fever requirements. There are no such policies. Not open to any feedback adoption. My way or highway is children lighthouse policy. Take it or leave it. Within last few Mos. 4 times my child was sent back where I found no fever at home but this facility claims that they had measured and insist on 48 hrs to be kept at home witout adjusting the weekly fee. Thanksgiving holidays, training days etc all are billed to clients. Emails are flooded with money making strategies. Getting tired of it.

The school is located conveniently off of FM 544 in Wylie and is only about 10 minutes away from home. My daughters first day was a wonderful experience. We were greeted by the front desk rep and she had provided additional information for my husband and I while we all walked down to our daughters new classroom. The classes are separated into age groups, and outside of each classes door is the activities listed for the day. We watched as our daughter went into the classroom to start her day, and she was quick to follow the other children in what they were doing (Circle time and then singing the alphabet). Seeing how the school is, Im excited to enroll our second daughter when shes ready. Thank you to all the staff at Childrens Lighthouse at Wylie for making it a memorable and safe experience for our daughter!

Could not ask for a better more loving environment for our daughter! The staff is so incredibly welcoming and loving! They are so accommodating with any therapy or anything our daughter needs during the day! As soon as you walk in the door staff is there greeting you and your kids by name and so excited to see you! I love their app and how easy it is to check in via direct message on the app and receive updates throughout the day! The curriculum is amazing, our 2 year old has flourished and is always coming home pointing out new shapes, numbers, and colors that she is learning! We love Children s Lighthouse of Wylie! The staff is attentive and caring. The curriculum is incredible and provides a fun and creative environment. Our daughter has been attending for a couple of years and we are blown away by how much she has learned! The infant teachers are very warm and caring. Today was my first day working here and Unfortunately I will not be going back to work at Children s lighthouse. I was really discouraged in the way they handle things with their staff. Teacher in room #7 called them many times over the phone about a specific kid who was causing trouble and they never came to check up on her. She was really frustrated and overwhelmed and I tried my best to make sure she was calm and try to help her around. I never worked at a childcare center that didn t help their staff. I really wish that it worked out but with these circumstances I won t be back. Plus, I feel like a lot of the things we train for were totally broken in that class and next door room 6. The teachers scream at the kids and mishandled them wrong. Most of the things for centers they had they couldn t even use. There was a lot of grabbing the kids wrong and shoving them to the tables and pulling and dragging kids and closing them in the restroom for misbehaving. Like thats ridiculous!! I personally don t like seeing that and never have I ever seen that in any center that s something STATE would not like to see or know. I have a two year old and if I knew my kid was getting treated like that I would go off. Maybe training your staff better and getting into the classroom with them once in a while wouldn t hurt. Just because y all are directors doesn t mean y all can t get more involved. And everyone who review this school a one star is right about everything they are saying.

Childrens light house of wylie is an amazing school. I have been employed there for 5 years. I first put my kids there in 2014 my middle daughter was 4 and my youngest was 2. At the time I had been a stay at home mother. They made that transition so easy for not only me but for both of my girls. Both of my girls went through the kindergarten program and are now very successful in school. At that time Mrs. Kenya my Director was the kindergarten teacher. She is now an amazing director. She goes above and beyond to ensure all of the staff are all on the same page of communication with each other, and all of our parents. They have been so flexible with me when I have needed off for my own kids. Because of her I have moved up in position. She has made sure not only am I happy as a staff member but as a parent. Because at the end of the day we are mothers first then employees.

My 2 year old was hungry and very thirsty every time she went here. (Nap time is completely out of the camera vision) sometimes she wouldn t even have a nap and they wouldn t even tell me. Her diapers were on WAY too tight. Like both Velcro tabs were touching each other. Who does that to a child??? I have not taken her for 8 days and they have charged me for every day. They said (40% off sick days are reserved for full time students only.) they also said I need to unenroll her with a 2 weeks notice even though they KNEW that I was about to unenroll her after the the first day and second and third day. I have had to call up there constantly just to get them to stop ignoring my child while crying. They are many other things.... example, the manager told me their teacher to student ratio were very low. Okay, only a week a half later on Halloween to be exact. There were 22 two year olds and two teachers in one the room. Over by the changing table, I would come to pick up my child at the end of the day and the teacher would run and pick up my child and change her dirty diaper last second and there s all these other two year olds squatting and hiding being the double sided Hinged door!!! (At the changing station) I have countless pictures of the atrocities of this place. It s taking everything in me not to call my lawyer and bring this to the authorities attention. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! My child came home eating with hands and hitting and babbling like a little baby and crawling on the floor on all floors the the same day my child would come home. But usually operates at a 3 year old level....yeah this place is BAD.

I had a terrible experience here. My son attended this daycare Match, April, and May of 2018. Although the staff was very cooperative and assuring when I was first talking to them about joining, they were extremely rude when I showed concern about my sons care. My son suffered multiple bad diaper rashes because they did not clean him properly and in a timely manner. Whenever I picked him up he was always dirty with food allover his face, hands, clothes. I also noticed during the time he attended this daycare, I was taking him to the doctor every 3-4 weeks for fever and ear infections. He seemed to get sick there often because the staff does a poor job checking childrens health before accepting them for the day and seem to not wash childrens hands. I took my son out of this daycare in April and was demands that I pay the month of May as well. Which I did. Now that my son is attending his regular pre-school, I havent had the need to take him in. Im extremely disappointed and dissatisfied in the care they provided for my child. I will never take my children here and I do not recommend that you enroll your children here either.

My daughter has been with Children s lighthouse since she was 3 months old. She NEVER cries when dropping her off at school. She absolutely LOVES her teachers and friends. The staffing is phenomenal and the curriculum is amazing. She has learned so much in the short time she has been here but me being a first time mom it was really hard to let her go. Absolutely love the infants room my youngest where in. till room 6 for my oldest and room 7. He was treated with no care. The food they made always sucked. Director sucks. She doesnt know what she is doing what so ever. Coming in you can always hear her complaining about a parent or a kid. They have abusive teachers. and ones who u can hear make fun of the kids or complain how many they have. The staff in the front were always nice. But u could always hear a kid screaming or crying in the office. If you love your kids dont send them here.

First let me start by saying that I am a picky mom. When we moved to Sachse/Wylie area, I visited probably 15 day cares in the surrounding area and made multiple visits to each one before deciding on preschool for my son. Childrens Lighthouse is a great place for a preschool education. Our son started there when he was around 3 years old and could barely trace his name. Their dedication to curriculum and his development over the last two years has certainly surpassed my expectations. He was reading and doing double digit addition before he left for Kindergarten, knows presidents and his states and capitals and a whole lot more. The teachers there are great. I could not be more thankful for the love my son received from all of his teachers especially Ms. Nicole and Ms. Kenya and a host of others.

We have loved our time at Childrens Lighthouse in Wylie! Our daughter has been attending Childrens Lighthouse since she was 8 weeks old. She thinks that her teachers have hung the moon! She also loves the staff in the front that greet her each morning and evening. The teachers and staff are phenomenal. They are loving and nurturing, while continuing to help each child be successful at their level of ability. The curriculum that they use prepare the kids for kindergarten. At four, my daughter can write her ABCs, numbers, name (first and last), shapes and many other things. She also enjoys reading the little readers that they read in class and then send home to read. My daughter loves going to school and see her teachers and friends each day.

Everyone at CLLC is focused on the children, their well-being, and their opportunities to learn. The directors know every child by name, and they always make time for questions and comments. My daughter has been attending Children s Lighthouse in Wylie now for 3 years. I have been more than impressed with this daycare from day one. The teachers are very hands on and provide a safe yet effective learning environment for the children. Everyone I speak to asks where my daughter goes to school because they are so impressed with how well she speaks and how much she knows at such a young age. She has excelled in not only academics, but socially as well. The staff is also wonderful. They create a family friendly environment and always greet every child by name, which is very welcoming. They also take your personal concerns very seriously and will take steps to ensure your concern is met. This daycare center also has cameras that allow you to watch your child daily. This was one of the main reasons we went with this daycare, a lot of other centers do not provide this type of service. Another reason I chose this daycare was because of my research with the State of Texas Daycare compliance history. You can tell with the history of their inspections they really do care about the children and their safety. I know my daughter is not only safe when I drop her off, but she is getting a great early education that will help her succeed in the future. I highly recommend this daycare center.

My toddler and infant sons attend Childrens Lighthouse and we are so pleased and would recommend it to anyone. The staff is friendly and everyone, I mean, everyone, knows who our kids are- even the teachers in other classrooms. Our toddler learns something new every day and is happy to go every morning. We had a terrible experience with Kids R Kids Richardson and I was nervous until I found this place. Highly recommend!!

I just want to write about the horrible experience that I had at this day care. My daughter had attended Childrens Lighthouse as an infant, and everything was wonderful. I really trusted the owner and was delighted to enroll her again when she was 2. One day I received a call at work from the owner, sometime in the morning. She explained that my daughter had been playing with a toy refrigerator from the housekeeping center and that somehow she made a SCRATCH under her eye. She told me that she was fine and they were going to apply some antibiotic cream. Like I said, I really trusted this woman, so I didnt worry about it. She called me after lunch to tell me it was getting a little bit swollen and they were going to apply more cream. I couldnt really understand how the door of a play refrigerator could cause a scratch, but I was very pleased with the way the owner was keeping me updated. I went to pick her up as soon as I could (I am a teacher), and when I saw her, I almost fainted. She had a GASH under her eye, it was an open cut and it looked terrible. We rushed to Childrens Hospital in Plano, but the doctor said it was too late for stitches. When I talked to the owner, she told me it is up to the parent whether they pick up their child and take it to the doctor, that they cant tell me that the child might need medical attention. She said they can only describe what they see. I told her that it was not a scratch, that it was a cut, and I couldnt understand (up to this day) why she wouldnt tell me how bad it was. The cut healed badly, my daughter is 4 now and she has a very visible scar under her eye, people ask me what happened to her, and it is visible in he photos. It is very clear to me that it was not caused by a toy refrigerator door. I am not going to call people names, but you can imagine my opinion of this woman and this day care when I see my daughters face every day.

Childrens Lighthouse Wylie is one of the best daycare centers I have ever seen. The staff and teachers are polite, courteous and go the extra mile trying to bond with the children attending the center. They are very concerned about childrens development and their health. You can see examples of these in their nutritional menu, exercise sessions and the guitar-singing sessions (which my kid loves). They are also very diligent in addressing important issues regarding our child and they always keep us posted and updated about any situation. I would recommend this center and be sure your children are in good hands.

We have been going to the Wylie location with our daughter for over a year. The staff is amazing and friendly. Our daughter is always happy to goto day care and has learned bits of sign language and other things that we would not have thought to teach her. We are incredibly happy and will continue to use their services.

My family has been taken under the wings of the lovely ladies at this school!! As an employee, the environment of the school is welcoming and warm, having invited me in immediately. As a parent, I am so happy to bring my daughter to the school. She loves everyday and looks forward to the learning and play in her classroom. I would love to rate this more than a 1 star, but on December 4 at 7 am I walked my son into Ms Jamies room 7 to her playing on her cell phone with a parent. There were 2 boys already fighting and hitting each other. Ms Jamie told them to stop and continued to show pictures to the parent on her phone, then the boys started biting and thats when I lost it. I will say that I moved my son to this place and all they do is sit. In room 8 & room 9, they sit. there is NO center time except they tell you there is. In room 8 they were not allowed to play in certain centers because they were closed, and in room 9 they werent allowed because if they make a mess the teacher Ms Kenya will get mad as I heard Ms Chelsea tell 2 girls on Dec 3 at 4 pm and from the numerous times my son told me that. Interesting, the Mon & Tues before that the kids were actually allowed to play from 8 - 8:30 as the schedule says. Do they teach? Sure, but they SIT... ALL DAY. They do not follow their schedule and then the pre-K is not accredited yet they charge you more tuition because the teacher is a real teacher yet she is only there 1/2 day- as I watched from 7 am - 4 pm daily... again when brought to their attention she was in there, interesting. Heres the deal, they are demeaning to the kids, Ms Erica and Ms Chelsea in room 9 talk down to the kids. They do not encourage any creativity or self-exploration in these kids, the reason is because numerous times I have walked in to Ms Chelsea having 20+ students, as I did the other day and funny, shes now not the only teacher in there that afternoon. Another interesting fact, they pulled the private pre-K teacher to run the front desk and she didnt get into the room until 9 am. So.. you will pay increased tuition to have your kids taught by Erica, who is in school, and who I have caught numerous times demeaning and yelling at the kids. Im all for learning and liked their curriculum, which is not the Abeka, its hooked on phonics. But not at the expense that my son sits in a chair or on the floor while they are not allowed to play in centers and teachers are on their cell phones while toddlers are fighting and biting. You have to watch no matter where your kids go, you think paying more means you get more, thats not the case at this school. I left a Primrose and we are going back, at least they were never negligent and allowed fighting and they provided creativity and self-exploration. Greed is an ugly thing, thats what drives the owner, take more kids, make more money.

All of my children have been enrolled at Childrens Lighthouse once they all reached the age of 3 years old. I have always been able to speak with the teachers and directors without any hesitation. The center is safe and provides a excellent learning environment. The Abeka curriculum is outstanding, and I am more than confident that my child can succeed once they enter kindergarten!

My son Jake has been in Childrens Lighthouse for almost 2 years. It is a great daycare and learning center in this area. Staff are friendly and dedicated to our kids. They are teaching kids not only reading, writing, math but also teaching them to be more social and to be more independent. Overall, I am very happy with this learning center and highly recommend to you.

I have been happy with Childrens Lighthouse from day one. The staff is very caring and willing to do anything to make sure my children are comfortable, happy and safe. The education my kids have received is priceless. The curriculum is very enriching, and well-rounded. When my daughter first started Childrens Lighthouse she was very shy and hardly participated. She is now thriving! I couldnt believe the difference her teachers had made in such a short period of time. Great School!

Childrens Lighthouse has been a wonderful school for our daughter. She has learned so much over the last 4 years at the McCreary location. She is in Pre-K now and learning math and reading! We have been at Childrens Lighthouse for four years and we couldnt be happier. Our daughter has flourished in a loving, positive environment with high expectations and a strong academic program. As an educator, I appreciate and understand the need for early intervention to ensure future success. My daughter knows all her sounds, can write several words and can even sound out basic words with minimal help! I know kindergarteners that struggle with those skills. I attribute this to the hard work and dedication of the staff at Childrens Lighthouse.

My daughter started at Childrens Lighthouse at 18 months as her first school. The teachers in the 12-18 toddler room nurtured her and slowly but surely she acclimated herself. We watched her grow from holding her teachers hand all hours of the day to slowly playing by herself and then with the other children. You could see the trust developing. She has since jumped an entire classroom and has excelled. She is now 3 years old and loves going to school to be with her teachers and friends. We couldnt be happier with the progress she has made. Our son has attended Childrens Lighthouse McCreary in Wylie since he was 18mos, and now hes 4. He has learned so much in his time at Lighthouse, we couldnt ask for a better place for him to be. I agree with it being called a Learning Center - this is no ordinary daycare. They have their playtime, but have a good curriculum they follow, and it shows. I feel that our son will be more than ready when its time for elementary school. I highly recommend Childrens Lighthouse.

Our family cannot express the love we have for Childrens Lighthouse. Our little girl started coming to school here when she was four months old. We have been so happy from the day she started. Her teachers have always been so loving and helpful. They have shown her warmth and compassion when her daddy and I have been at work. We feel so blessed that God has provided a place for our precious daughter. She is happy each day, and we see pure joy in her eyes when she is there with her little friends. I love how she is stimulated and is learning. Even as an infant, I noticed her great sense of awareness. I believe Childrens Lighthouse has played a hugerole in her cognitive development.
