I used to love coming here. This used to be one of my favorite things about Wylie. Unfortunately its lost its charm. The prices have gone up which is understandable in this climate. They also charge for an extra shot in your large drink. Before you used to get up to 2 shots in your drink at no additional charge. Anyways just a little disappointed this morning. We always by bulk coffee here too but Im wondering if I need to find a new place.

The coffee drinks are okay but the baked goods are mediocre.. Ive been several times and the employees are always very young and oddly rude. Kinda condescending for some reason. I dont prefer this place, but Ill come if its the only thing open.

We love the location and still stop in on occasion to check out the merchandise and get a coffee. Unfortunately, it s just changed too much since it was sold and the quality and quantity of merchandise has declined in both regards. We used to buy gifts for the whole family throughout the year, now it s even more of a coffee shop to hang out at. The coffee drinks are good, sweet, but good, so I guess it depends on what you re looking for. Service varies, but is generally friendly.

This used to be one of my most favorite places, however, it s seems as if they are going through a transition in management. I ve noticed some antique staples disappearing from the store and I hope they know that these things truly matter and are what make the store what it is. God forbid they start changing recipes. I hope my suspicions aren t true, but it really does seem and feel like something is about to change here.

This is my favorite place to get coffee in Wylie. There are so many options for coffee, but this is MY coffee place. They have a ton of sugar free options that are just as good as the regular coffees, and their cookies are a delectable treat for my kids. The staff is always friendly, patient, efficient and kind. I highly recommend it!

Such a unique coffee shop- very cool&interesting! The staff were nice and service was pretty quick. Nice seating areas as well! I got the almond joy latte- it was good flavor. We also got the chocolate chip muffin- it had a chocolate pound cake type taste. I think what makes the place standout is the decor!

I have been going here since I was four, and it is still amazing! The drink selection is great too! Update! Ive ALWAYS loved the atmosphere of the shop, absolutely amazing, but unfortunately lately Ive heard quite a lot of... interesting conversations between employees? I assume one of the management staff, a red-head, had been rather aggressive with one of the employees, seeming to alter the mood drastically. It looked as though the manager was berating the employee for very small mistakes, which could have been easily, and nicely corrected. When I attempted to order afterwards the manager seemed extremely aggressive while taking my order.

My family and I came in to this store this morning for a some caffeine after church, we were waiting in line as it was a bit busy and noticed and older woman with ginger hair berating a young employee constantly the whole time we were in the shop. It sounded like it was over extremely simple mistakes, but in my convicted heart I believe I should speak up for that young girl who had teary eyes looked extremely affected by this. While the scones and latte s were very enjoyable, my family and I will not be giving our business at this establishment until this is rectified.

My husband and I both got an iced CinnaBabe, which is Cinnamon and Vanilla, and it tasted amazing! The espresso drinks come with 1 shot of espresso no matter the size BUT they can add a 2nd shot for no extra charge so thats awesome. Also love that theres regular whip cream and sugar free whip cream along with having decaf espresso as an option. We will definitely be returning!

I ve always loved coming here. I occasionally peruse around the store just to see what s new (wax melts, holiday decorations, hats/beanies, college merch). Most of the time I get a coffee or tea and play a board game (in the back) with a friend or get work done. The environment allows for so many different things and I love it as a spot to relax and be productive at the same time. The employees have always been super nice, and help me get exactly the drink I want. I usually go for a snickers latte but today I wanted to have a dirty chai with vanilla. They recommended the Vanilla Heaven Latte with a splash of chai in it, and I just have to say, this might be my new favorite drink. If you haven t had a dirty chai before, you should try this drink. It s so good.

Lovely stop in downtown Wylie TX. Coffee was delicious and shop was quiet. There are items for sale that looked cute but I didnt have time to browse. Everything is very clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Somehow I managed to lose my prescription sunglasses and was valiently assisted in trying to find them. I appreciated the effort very much though they remain missing. This is one of those places where you are made to feel at home. Oh...there are desserts and ice cream too! Cant wait for an opportunity to try the scones. Update: Tried a cinnamon scone and it was delightful. Also, it is now obvious my glasses were stolen so please keep a close eye on your personal items as there is a thief roaming this shop.

I have lived in Wylie ,For 18yrs Transplant from Plano,Texas. I must say this is the best Shop on all of Ballard Street! At Christmas Time It is my place to go shop for family and friends! I went to walk around 6/17/23 and there was alot going on Carnival etc..I went in to Shoemaker looked twice figured i was in wrong store it was to me empty But I smelled the Coffee Omg i just knew i was in right place! The decoration for the 4th of July are so wonderful! I bought the Yellow Rose Of Texas Bird Bath! It was a must for A Born and raised Texan! My reciept says Regina ,I want to say Thank You All for always being the nice serving people that you are! I was parked a way down the street Regina offered to help me to my car! That is true Customer Service! The Gourmet Coffee is the best!

This coffee house is adorable! Its like visiting your grandparents general store in the early days of Texas! When you walk in, the sweetest ladies offer up homemade scones and cookies like grandma does along with a fantastic cup of your favorite coffee made with love. We stumbled into this place after working a few new hives and are so pleasantly surprised that we will be back! The furniture is all comfortably old or rustic. We love this place!!!!!

I used to enjoy coming here for an occasional treat, but over the last couple of years, the price went up and the quality went down. I order the same drink every time, but the last 5+ times, there has consistently been some issue. Sometimes it was minor and I could overlook it. E.g., Id get sprinkle toppings when I asked for no sprinkles. But a couple of times, the drink was completely wrong... e.g., an Americano with some random flavored syrup when I ordered a latte. And the last time, the drink was just cold. It was like drinking cold chocolate milk instead of a hot Milky Way latte. Unfortunately, Im usually out the door and down the road before I realize that there is a problem. Im sorry, but I cant justify paying $5 for a 16oz drink if its not going to be great every time. Its supposed to be a special treat to pick me up, not an additional source of disappointment.

It s hard to fathom that this establishment has anything less than a perfect five star rating. Shoemaker is hands-down the best coffee shop in Wylie, nay, the best coffee shop in Dallas-Fort Worth. I have yet to see how this place has as many stars as it does. If you want food poisoning then its a good place to go. They re-steam left over milk from previous drinks . They dont dial in espresso or even have a CLUE on how to dial in, taste or make a drink. Health code violation with the milk situation. Owners dont do anything about it because theyre too afraid to and are too nice and the drinks like the chai are SO sweet . Theres a big blob of it left at the bottom of the cup .

Amazing place! Great coffee and sugar free options. New girl they just hired is so sweet- she is my fav. The girl training her wasn t super friendly and made a negative comment about my only dollar tip, but the nice girl makes up for it. I mean I bought a cup of coffee- I always tip but I m not tipping the cost of the cup. Geez Anyway- go here!! It s the coolest little place in wylie

Absolute favorite coffee shop in the area. But thats not fair, this place isnt just a coffee shop, its an entire experience. The atmosphere, the employees, the music, the menu, the animal taxidermy, the vintage prosthetic leg for sale. Nothing beats this place for a nice Sunday morning sit-down for a treat with the kids.

Love this coffee place! My all time favorite place to go for my cup of Joe! Staff does like to finish their conversation first though before taking your order. I ve received several free coffee tokens because of that. Still 5 stars though because I love this place. Try the scones!
