I called the number on the website, but the lady that answered was super rude and super unhelpful. After failing to answer a question of mine, I told her nevermind and she responded with a very sarcastic ok bye and hung up.

I had my wedding here on May 6th 2017. Plug aka owner of the barn was nice with us at first when we were looking at the barn. The Piehl barn I will say is not worth the money whats so ever! Its going to cost you 3,000 dollars. The cost is 2,500 but I have hered a few people not getting their deposit back. I was one of them as well. When I got to my wedding venue the day before my wedding my friends and I had to clean the whole venue up from a party at the venue from the previous night. It was horrible. We even played a game on how much butter rappers we can all pick up. 78 by the way! My friends were trying to make me feel better about my venue being destroyed. :) when we were cleaning some older man came into the barn at 11:00 a.m which he was way to late to clean up the barn since we have already been their since 8:00 a.m. He had a leaf blower and started it in my venue!!! Yes I had all my stuff and tables already set up and he was going to blow barn dust EVERYWHERE! Thank goodness my mom stopped him before he ruined everything. The guy left and even apologized for the barn being so messy. I will say that yes the barn was flipping HOT! It doesnt have A/C and it was miserable in that barn even on my wedding day. We rented 4 big fans nothing worked. The day of the wedding was beautiful though. We definitely didnt like the barn floor at all. Specially if you have elderly people coming to your wedding. My grandfather fell and we had other people tripping on the main floor. Our DJ was wonderful but he didnt have enough speakers to fill up the barn he had 4 speakers and no one could hear the speeches on the other side of the barn at all cuz yes it is a big barn. The place you pay is a reality company and be prepared for rude customers service. I aways hated dealing with the front desk lady. After my wedding we cleaned up and of course I had a big clean up group as well. We cleaned up for 5 hours! Its a big barn but we did it! but that wasnt enough for plug I guess. I had a letter mail to my house a week after my wedding saying that I dont get my deposit back! I was so confused about the letter specially since I was at the venue the next day and helped cleaned up so I knew how I left it. sooooo I gave plug a call! She was obviously very rude when she found out who I was. Respectfully I asked why we did not get our deposit back and her only response was cuz we didnt take out the trash in the bathroom! I was like what!!! When I stared to mention how we had to even clean the barn up when we got there she called me a liar and hanged up on me. Now itspretty funny thinking about it just cuz the little trash bag by the toilet had trash in it cost me 500 bucks and I was called a liar! Oh well. lesson learn. I should of research more on my venue. I loved my wedding so much but will always hate and regret my venue. My husband always talkes about how our venue was so horrible to everyone that asks about our wedding so I thought I would let everyone else know on here that this place is NOT all that great if your thinking about this wedding venue. Hope this helps everyone out if they are interested in the piehl barn.
