It was late fall 2023 when I started using the wide concrete walkway stretching perhaps two miles through the park. It has a beautiful central woodland with a creek running through it that does overflow onto the walkways after even moderate rain. The perimeter is regularly mowed, so the grassy areas are in good shape. Excessive litter in the park was removed over a couple of months. What remained were multiple water puddles on the walkway that were up to six inches deep the morning after heavy rains, some impossible to get around, that take up to 5 days to drain, leaving behind varying amounts of slippery Texas mud. Trenches subsequently dug along the sidewalks eliminated most of the areas with standing water by the next morning, but not all, so be prepared to turn around and go back the way you came after rains if you arent wearing rubber boots while traveling the walkway. The shade from trees keeps most of walkway cool well into the morning in the summer. Although unlit, moonlight is sufficient to easily stay on the walkway. There are signs posted to remain the user that wild creatures are present, and you may indeed see them. Playground: There are exercise stations all along the walkway to aid with full body fitness. Toilets: Ive not seen a restroom nor any attendants for this park. Dog-friendliness: The walkway is a great place to take leased pets, with the caveat that standing water and mud may be encountered shortly after moderate rains and certain areas flood completely during heavy rain (i.e., are subject to flash flooding). Picnic area: There are a few benches at which to rest along the walkway, but Ive seen no dedicated picnic areas.

Nice park that is located in the Kreymer Estates housing community. Has paved walking trails that are well maintained. Trails will flood and get muddy after a hard rain. Trails have exercise stations along the way and trash bins to dispose of dog poo. Park contains a playground with 2 slides, monkey bars, swings, and a climbing structure. There isnt any public bathroom.
