Food and drinks were good! AC couldnt really keep up the other day with everyone going in and out so it was a little warm. Ill probably try to visit again during a weekday to skip the drunk people. Will come back again when its a little cooler and enjoy the deck seating.

Used to be Harbor House 10 yrs or so ago. Now it is Boat House. These owners doing it right. Prices are reasonable for a lakeside restaurant and bar. Had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich it was tasty and on point with good onion rings fried perfectly. Absolutely I will be back.

Relaxing, it is small, but there is seating outside. Service was wonderful. Food: No attention to detail. Avocados were hard not ripe at all, so no added flavor. Lettuce tasted like they just took it out of the bag and put it on the plate, some of the lettuce was rotten. Portions size very good.

We love going here to chill out and listen to some tunes. The water creates a peaceful environment. The staff is attentive, friendly, and polite. The bathroom is always clean even though its located in an area where many people frequent. The food is okay, and the drinks are strong. Megan The bartender is friendly and aware when anyone needs a new drink. I would recommend this place. It is always nice to see the children feed the fish, ducks, and turtles in the water as well. The pics are of an amazing singer, Scott Sean White. We fell in love with him when we heard him.

Overall, our first experience was pretty good. We will definitely go back. My only complaint is the plastic straws. Being a restaurant on the lake, i wish they would have paper straws. The wind kept blowing our cups over and the starws into the water. Parking: Entering the gate house the fee is $3 per person and $3 per vehicle. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that takes you all the way to the restaurant.

Great food and drinks. The bill had a bunch of issues but they fixed it. The inside of this place is hot. Wouldve given 5 stars if the temperature in the restaurant was bearable. The set point on the thermostat was 72 and inside temp was 89.

Very clean and neat. Love the wood look inside. Love being able to stroll around the restaurant. My family loved the hamburgers. I had popcorn shrimp and chicken tenders. They were a little over fried but still good. Great service. Wylie did great.

If you ever wanted to eat at a restaurant where the owner treats both staff and customer equally awfully, then this is the place for you! Man was openly drunk at his own bar, so Im not sure if that makes it better or worse. Food was mediocre at best, unpalatable at worst. The waitstaff and view were actually nice, which makes my heart bleed for them having to deal with such an inconsiderate nonce for a boss. Frankly, calling this establishment a restaurant is a blemish on the word. Embarrassment is more accurate. Owner needs to grow up.

Had an opportunity to visit this past weekend. The bar flies were camped out while so many others were waiting to be acknowledged to just have lunch. It was so hot, no canopies on patios, not even water while we were waiting. Could be such a fantastic place but I guess the owner just doesn t care.

If your unfortunate enough to find yourself at this place please dont take it out on the waitstaff who in my opinion do the job of several people just trying to keep guests happy whole they wait over an hour in an uncrowded hole in the wall watching water bugs crawl up the walls while waiting on a club sandwich..and if given a choice sit out side and deal w the flys because its so much better then sitting inside and having to listen to the loud mouthed meth head behind the bar tell stories about her life whole she treats her staff and customers w her rude loud mouthed demeanor while take 30 + minutes to make a drink incorrectly..I give this place 0 stars and wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy and will not go back especially as long as the meth head is still at the bar!

It is an awesome place. Its sitting on the Labor lake. They serve food and drinks. Everyone of the employees are really nice and professional. We sat down down and almost immediately a waitress was standing at the table. We ordered and our food arrived pretty rapidly. Actually somewhat faster than some of the restaurants weve been to. We went on a Friday night and listened to a rock-n-roll band for awhile. We couldve stayed but I was getting tired from a long day. Well we enjoyed it. I think most people will.

I had a horrible time. Hygiene was the number one issue. Cobwebs, dusty floors, and cockroach on the walls was definitely part of the decor. Waited a really long time for our order, only to be brought the wrong order by a rude waitress who didnt even apologize. When the right order finally came, it was definitely not worth the wait. Tasteless, soggy, bland food. The catfish the kids ordered was not too good either. Wont be going there again and wont recommend it.

If you like bland food, with no salt or spice, than this is your place. Fries were soggy, Cuban sandwich was sorry and tasteless. My wife had nagged me for the past few months to go there, needless to say she admits she was wrong and we were both terribly disappointed. Waited an hour for our food.

Frequent lake lavon a lot but the harbor house has terrible customer service, or particularly a certain waitress who is rude to customers as well as employees. I believe her name is Kathy, she does not belong in the service industry at all. I love going there but I absolutely hate going there and seeing this lady!

Went here with my family last weekend and loved the food. We ordered the catfish and shrimp plate which was very tasty. Our 3 yo even ate a couple bites. Nice staff and service was top notch. They even have a live band playing for entertainment while we ate. Its a little on the pricey side but worth it I think. Enjoy.

This is a small floating restaurant & bar on the lake w/ indoor and outdoor seating. You can drive your car, park & walk down the boardwalk to it or drive your boat & dock it right by the restaurant patio. Not really a family place as the evening is more like a local bar environment. A fun atmosphere for couples or small groups. Only open on the weekends. It is handicap accessible.

This place was talked up by one of the waitresses at another restaurant owned by the same man. I was looking forward to a nice, lakeside setting, with good catfish. No parking, crappy seating (thats crappy, not crappie!), low on several items...out of COCKTAIL SAUCE, for Petes sake! It took over an hour to get our meal. I think this is done on purpose so customers order appetizers and/or drinks. Catfish was bland. I told my husband he should open a restaurant and be the competition because his catfish is way better. The total was $88.00 with tip. Not going back!

Carson did an excellent job as our server. She had an excellent attitude, exacting precision taking our order, and enthusiastic welcoming charm that put our entire table at ease. We sat on the outside deck of the floating restaurant where we couldnt have ordered a better sunset over the lake. The food, in short, was impressive. The salad was crisp, cool, and farm-fresh. I had the catfish, which was clean, no hint of game or mud (to use an archaic description), and had a perfect breading ( I consider myself an expert judge of the dish). Finally, the hush puppies left me wanting more, even though I was stuffed (generous portion of catfish and fries). This was my daughters birthday dinner, and I couldnt have picked a better place to share her day. Thanks again, Carson, for taking such good care of us.
