Quaint little place in historical downtown Witchita Falls. Great atmosphere for lunch. The day we went, their system was down but we had cash, and they hand write orders so we were still good. Had the chicken salad with fresh fruit and all baskets come with a cookie! Was delicious!!

Ive tried almost every sandwich on the menu and I havent found any options I havent loved (some of my favorites include the Beef Eater, Greek, and Pomodoro). The homemade soups are also amazing, especially the red pepper and corn chowder. Every meal comes with a small cookie surprise (blueberry, chocolate chip, white chocolate, or sugar) and either homemade chips or soup. Salads are really good. Also cant forget the pickle on the side (extra in my case).

This is my favorite place so far! I got a pretzel melt, no cheese. It was amazing. Hubby got the Greek chicken salad. The ladies are friendly. The restaurant is clean and comfy. The service was fast. Word of advice to the staff, learn to cut chicken against the grain. Otherwise, it is delicious but too chewy.

I had a chicken pomodori, the chicken had a distracting, odd flavor and the cookie was very chewy. The fruit was a little sour but okay. Quaint decor, tables a little sticky, but the place is full of life and people seemed to be enjoying themselves.

We drove through Wichita Falls and quickly choose a place to eat for lunch. Reviews are good and there s reason for it! The ladies were very friendly and explained the menu and options to us. We both decided to get the Mix & Match Basket so that we could get two sandwiches each. The sandwiches were absolutely DELICIOUS! We ate every single crumb. Our sandwiches in order of favorites: Turkey Bacon Ranch, Greek Italian Melt, Monte Cristo, and Pretzel Melt. Amazing and well priced. I also want to note how baby/child friendly the place is. There were high chairs and booster seats that were very clean. A changing table in the bathroom! One of the ladies offered the baby crackers and some applesauce, which was very kind! Thank you for such a great experience. We can t wait to visit again!

An absolute MUST to stop in and try ANYTHING! My first visit was this last week, I made an order of 8 paninis, tomato basil soup -( BEST IVE EVER TASTED) several salads, the Monte Cristo was incredibly tasty. Barbecue sandwich, California Club, Chicken Ceaser salad, even the fruit was so fresh and yummy. My Husband Commutes, so packed him several of the meals along with salad, he LOVED ALL OF IT. Several friends were able to enjoy as well, I will DEFINITELY be coming back soon.

Ive tried about 2/3 of the sandwiches and enjoyed them all, bit hands down the best thing on the menu is their chicken salad sandwich. I recommend getting it on pretzel bread! Staff is friendly, service quick, and the environment homey and welcoming. Give them a try, you wont regret it!

Gidgets is a place that my fiance loves to go eat and I have discovered a love to go there myself. It has all types of food on its lunch menu as far as soups and sandwiches and salads go. The thing that my fiance really likes is that they have plenty of choices for vegetarians and vegans. I appreciate the fact that their somewhat eclectic menu has plenty of food for omnivores like me... LOL. The service is always great as is the food. It is usually bustling with patrons as it has grown into a local favorite. One thing that I really like is the fact that they have fresh lemonade for you to drink as well as the normal variety of teas and soft drinks. I know that I will be going to eat there on a regular basis as long as their doors are open and they maintain their superior quality in all that they do.

I had Gidgets about a week ago. The food was amazing. I have never had anything that I did not like there. Julie and her staff are very friendly and always smiling. A great place for a great lunch. My goal is to stop by weekly. Eat local!!!!!

I have been eating here for 14 years! The owner is amazing, and she always cheerfully greets me when I come in. All of her employees are extraordinarily helpful, and I never have to wait long for my food, even on busy days! You can tell they enjoy their work, and that the owner gets great satisfaction from her many (and well-deserved) happy customers! Consistency is important to me, and from the first day I ate at Gidgets, to the last time I ate there, the same high-quality service and excellent taste has never disappointed!

So I probably wouldnt have stopped here, based on outside appearance. Luckily someone had suggested place, so I gave it a try. Was not bad, what you would expect from a sandwich shop. Wish I had tried the soup cause it looked like it might be good. I had the California on multi-grain. It came with chips a small cookie.

This is probably my favorite lunch place to eat on town. The sandwiches are delicious and the quality never diminishes. Ive been going to gidgets for almost a decade and even when I lived away for a couple of years, Id still think about their food. So good. I highly recommend it!

This place is consistently delicious! I adore the soups and sandwiches. Cookies are freshly made and that pickle sliver makes my day. We are lucky to have a quality sandwich shop in walking distance of the library.

Not even french toast. With out asking what bread choice I wanted. Chabata?? Really. So. Although the atmosphere was nostalgic. The order I placed with out asking for a 1950s classic . The Monti Cristo version I expected was supposed to be with a waffle make. Thats what my daughter saw a year ago on TV.. Im sorry we have tri3d to visit many times but the restaurant closes at 2:00

This is a sweet lil coffee shop in the heart of downtown Wichita falls! Coffee and cookies were excellent. Their homemade chips were very tasty for this non-chip lover. Very relaxed, early 70s decor with mismatched tables and chairs which I love!
