I ll be honest, I did not expect a pizza place this good to be in a small town like Wichita Falls TX The crust is perfect, the sauce is perfect, the cheese is great, the freshness is spot on. I hate that I ll only be here a short time, if I was local, I d be here every week. This is a must stop if you re in the area and wanting some good pizza.

My daughter and I wanted to try something new and it was right around the corner. It was absolutely phenomenal and we have went back since our original experience atmosphere the pizza the staff everything was amazing if you haven t checked it out yet you definitely should. Service attitude was poor. I was hoping for wings. I had checked there website before going. They were out, which happens. So I ordered a calzone at 6:39pm and told it would be 25 minutes, which is fine. I get it at 7:20ishpm then told I couldnt eat in the dinning room after ordering it for dine-in. The place had at least 6 other customers waiting on there pizza, probably to go and they close at 8pm. You know that feeling like your not wanted.... Eating it at a rest area cause Im hungry!

Great atmosphere. Theyve got delicious pizzas, and cold beer on tap. Friendly staff, and there are specials every day. Get a whole pie or a single slice! I got the lunch combo, its a ¼ pie and a drink, you can see the giant slice in my photos. My friends split a whole pie. Food

App said 20 min wait time. We show up 30 minutes later. Guy says it will be 10 more minutes. Wait 20 minutes and check back and he says its will be 7 more minutes. Questioned him about the previous statement 20 minutes ago and he told me he has a customer calling and blows me off to take a call. Wanted to like this place but I dont care how good the food is this experience will be the only thing that gets remembered.

Had dinner here and WOW the pizza was cooked perfect, was not burnt as most places do. There were plenty of meats on the pizza and the price was perfect for the serving sizes. They have plenty of choices for pizza and baked pizza along with appetizers to choose from! The inside dinning was comfortable and they do have take out. Parking is on the street or side of the building a great for the location. Service was excellent and welcoming.

The experience of eating at stone oven was great. On our way to Colorado we decided to check this place out. We ordered the margarita pizza and some wings. The whole family loved it. And the kids liked watching them toss the pizza dough and make the pizza from scratch. Also, had a stage for the kiddos to run around and dance on. Will definitely come back.

I was not expecting to have one of the best slices of pizza in my life, but thats what I had today! And since its Thursday, I was able to grab the lunch deal of one slice and a drink for just $10. This slice of pizza was 1/4 of a full pie, filled with toppings, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese to go along with a crispy outer crust and a foldable crust under the toppings. The Old School had gigantic pieces of pepperoni and generously sized hunks of sausage. Will definitely go back if I ever pass through Wichita Falls again. 10/10 recommend.

Had to wait over an hour for my food because they refused to make my order until DoorDash showed up. I ordered directly through the website and they said it was a second party order and though they took my money they still refused until door dash showed up. That was after it had already been 45minutes. There was no apology, there was no /poor customer service directly from stone oven staff. The only thing making the experience okay, was my door dash person being polite and apologizing for them. I ve never had such careless and disrespectful service from a restaurant.

We needed a delicious but easy to get to from 287 eatery and Stone Oven Pizza was perfection. Even though they had a huge order before us, they got our pizza out super quick, which we appreciated SO much after our long drive. The crust was crisp but fluffy and the toppings were generous on the Super Za. We will definitely stop here on our drives through from now on!

Really one of the top places to get pizza from in Wichita falls. The pizza comes out hot and ready to eat. You will get the perfect new York pizza pull. They specialize in different types of pizzas. I like the margarita one and the classic pepperoni. Price around 13-15$ a pizza. The pizza is a good size with a family of 3 one works perfectly. Fresh cheese and sauce. Definitely definitely dont sleep on this shop.

Stopped here to grab some quick lunch on the way to DFW from Amarillo and was not expecting to have one of the best pizzas of my life that day. We ordered the Balboa and it was definitely a knock out. The crust was amazing, the amount of toppings was perfect and the sauce deserves the chefs kiss !! Rex is a pizza-boss. That pie was heaven after a day of off-road trail blazing. Christian was so nice too! Thank you for an unexpectedly awesome meal! As you can see from the photos, we made short work of devouring it!

Yes, the wait is sometimes enduring on busy days. BUT, despite that, the exquisite food that comes as a reward is so worth it. Ive dined here more than once and I can say that I left pleased every single time. The blend of spices sprinkled on to the cheese is tuned perfectly, and the sauce isnt overwhelming either way, sweet or spicy. The service is also great. The employees are funny and friendly and always overcompensate their apologies for any inconveniences. Stone Oven is THE best local pizza place to eat at and I wish for big things in the future Parking: Parking is easy to find and close to the business. If there are events going on in the area, its most likely to be busy and this will change. Kid-friendliness: The business has giant Jenga blocks and a stage for kids to play on while the adults enjoy their dinner. The art on the walls is also amusing, and is for anyone to enjoy.

They never ever disappoint. The staff there is great and you can ALWAYS count on the pizza being consistently great any day of the week. The chicken wings are amazing too. You can definitely tell a difference in their wings vs others, (they use peanut oil). Everything is great here!

Ryan always makes you feel like youre hanging out in his kitchen. Thank you so much for making us feel welcomed. The pizza was excellent! We really didnt know what we wanted and Ryans recommendation hit the spot! Huge slices of pepperoni piled on extra, topped with extra cheese and jalapenos. So freaking delicious! It was a really cool place to just chill with all the art on the walls. I like the price for the quality of what we ordered. Totally worth it! The building caught my eye while I was picking up beans from the Duck, and I thought about how nice it would be to have pizza with my boys. It was a busy errand day, but money be tight and I decided to skip it... until my toddler innocently asked for pizza at the end of our errands and I figured... must have been God telling me to get pizza the pizza was fantastic! I have no complaints or feedback, for there is none I could give loved the ricotta and cream cheese on the Balboa; it was delicious and unique. The prices are higher than would allow me to go regularly, but thats a result of the economy, not a reflection on their prices (which is also being affected by the economy). Thank yall!

We ordered a special that included 10 wings and I asked for them extra crisp. When I tell you those wings were PERFECT and some of the tastiest wings Ive ever had I would still be underselling them. The Cajun dry rub is so freaking scrumptious. I got to play Donkey Kong on an arcade game there. I hadnt done that in years so that was fun. The boys that run the place are great and very sweet. Theyre limiting their menu though. Which is a shame because I liked their salad. Ive been there twice driving through the state and I would recommend stopping there. Its great pizza and I do not like pizza that much. It was really good pizza I was surprised. And Im vegan, I dont even get any meat or cheese on mine! Vegetarian options: They were very careful and concerned about my lactose intolerance and even called me back to verify on a detail that I didnt even realize just to make sure I didnt get anything I could not eat. This place and the people in it are amazing friendly and bring a smile to my face every time I walk in the door, I am not a pizza fan but Stone Oven Pizza has given me a new outlook on how pizza is ment to be, I love every bite. Kid-friendliness: They have a play area for kids that also occupies parents, very family oriented.

i just noticed i ve never gave this place a 5 star review but they are absolute the best, amazingly friendly staff, delicious ingredients to make so many different styles of pizzas, even some partnered with other local restaurants making this place a MUST HAVE for ANYONE!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!(they even have ice cream AND beer )

Good pizza. Between thick and thin on the crust. Nice size for 2 or 3 eaters. We got the BBQ pizza. Greek salad was loaded with onions and olives and very tasty dressing not too much vinegar.

The pictures are worth 1000 words. Let me start by saying this is really good pizza. Everyone in my party was commenting how it had plenty of toppings, just the right amount of cheese, and a great crust. If you re in the Wichita Falls looking for a really really good pizza. I highly recommend Stone oven pizza you will not be disappointed.

Yes, it takes a bit longer to get you Hand-tossed-made-to-order special pizza, cheesy bread or calzone, but it is so worth it. Be patient, be kind, and eat local! Vegetarian options: They offer meatless options. Parking: Parking is curbside on either side of the street. However the spaces are not clearly defined by visible lines, so judging your space may be difficult. The city needs to help fix that problem!! Kid-friendliness: There are some games to occupy the kiddos while waiting Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see clearly defined handicapped parking spaces nor a ramp. This needs to be addressed. The door is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and the dining area is one level, but the tables are close together, and adjustments can be made to accommodate a person in a wheelchair.

Food was very good. I got jalapeno poppers pizza and I was delicious. They have a few beers on tap and fun games to play while you wait. They forgot that I ordered a cheesecake but when I brought it up they were very fast in correcting it.

Edited: I emailed the owner as he requested in his reply below, and he took complete ownership and even discussed how he is going to make sure it doesnt happen again. Im adjusting to 5 stars as I dont expect perfection, I just expect to be acknowledged as it was super late, and I had to point it out but his reply and ownership of what happened was great. The pizza is delicious so they are getting a 3 star, but I ordered ahead for a party with a set time to be ready (2 hours in advance) and when we went to pick it up 5 min after the requested time it wasnt even ready yet. Then sat there and didnt have it ready until 20 min after the time requested. What is worse, there was absolutely no apology or acknowledgement that they were 20 min late until we made the comment that it was late. Then there was an excuse thar there was an order before mine.

Excellent pizza place in Wichita Falls. Its independent and the decor is dark, progressive, and eclectic. It wasnt very busy (at least not eat in, but there appeared to be a busy delivery apps business) when we were there but I can see it being a very lively spot. All the tables have games on them, like hungry, hungry hippos. It was just a cool place. The pizza is New York style and foldable. I liked it, and when we drive through again, well be sure to stop in!

The pizza was similar to hideaway style. We got a supreme which was pretty good. The crust and toppings, esp Italian sausage were really good. I wasnt wild about the cheese for some reason but my husband really liked it. The service was really good. Im not into girl power stuff which was all over the bathroom walls but if you like that kind of thing, this is your place! Its probably just young, and Im not lol

Last few times here the amount of time spent waiting for orders promised at a specific time was long past. The pizza has been limp and wet. The current visit we were brought the food from the to go warmer so very soggy and limp, chicken wings were steamed in the foil container swimming in sauce moisture logged and soft. Granted I did make an order on the app for carryout only to add a note for Dine in please which the last time I ordered on the app I informed the owner that Dine in was not an option and he assured me if I added the note for Dine in I would be fine. We opted for a remake and the pizza came out slightly limp and the toppings just slipped off. Firo Pizza all day long! Hands down better pizza always consist crisp and flavored. This place doesnt actually have a stone oven! Its a regular low temperature oven with a stone insert!. Update.. Was told the limp pizza is actually our thang... Not like other pizzerias..... Beware

First I would like to say the Pizza was very good, although a little pricey. The drinks come in bottles. A bottle of Peak tea is the only option for tea $3.00. You have to pay for water too. The girl at register was unfriendly, atmosphere was dark and drab. My suggestion is to order take out, or delivery

I really wanted to like it because they do good things for the community! Thats the only reason Im giving 4 stars lol. Food and service would be 1-2 stars. We had to wait over 45 mins for 2 slices of pizza, at night and it wasnt busy at all and the couple that came in 15 mins after us got their food before we did (not a call in, they ordered there). The pizza just tasted like cheap cheese and oregano, worse than gas station pizza. I wouldnt go back for sure unless I was super drunk and it was the only thing open lol

Stone Oven was awesome. Its not part of a national chain, its local and uses quality ingredients. Atmosphere is hole in the wall, exposed masonry kinda thing. Awesome art and signs all over the walls. 4 person tables with little mini games to play while you wait. Or play their multi arcade machine for a quarter. And rolled ice cream being made and sold in the back. Cashier was friendly and offered us a menu as we couldnt read their video board fast enough. Pizzas are 14 and kinda expensive, but remember this isnt pre-made frozen dough made by the thousands from the big guys. We started with the cheesebread, which was more like a calzone than the pizza dough with cheese on it like the big companies sell us. SOs was much tastier. Waitress was very friendly and had no problem getting us a side of ranch when I asked. Said if we needed anything else to let her know. We got there equivalent to a meat lovers pizza. It was soo delicious. Im a big fat guy, normally a 14 I can do by myself, this time we couldnt finish it between 2 adults and a 4yo. Pizza was filling also. We also got a slice of pepperoni pizza for my son. It was a quarter slice, not the standard eighth slice. He loved it.
