I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Vanessa Onwuneme for my Dads prearrangements. She helped me set up a pre-pay plan for his opening and closing of his cemetery plot. She walked me through the entire process step by step and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Hampton Vaughn Crestview Funeral Home for all your final arrangements. Wonderful staff who treat you with respect, kindness, and dignity.

Update : I was told In the past that Joyce was no longer working there well I was lied to about that also . I went out to visit my family members and my father has 2 holes and a crack I called to put a work order in and Joyce answered the phone and she told me that no one could help me so I went to the office and I explained the situation to her in person and she was so rude to me. I asked her if I could please put in a work order and her exact words to me was this ( well you look like you could walk the cemetery a couple of times) I said with all due respect Joyce I just want to put a work order in and find out where another family member is . I came back to the car and told my boyfriend please please creamate me and bring me home because I do not want to be in a Cemetery that is run by rude people. This Cemetery is not kept up to date with maintenance. Joyce is Rude when work orders where brought to her attention. No one calls . It is sad that these people do not treat others with respect . There was a guy that was very rude when I was in the office .. They say that they will call you and let you know that the work order was done but they dont call you. They say that they care about your family and they dont, they do not have any dignity, respect or compassion . They lay your family members in the ground and then forget about them . They say that the weather is at fault for a lot of stuff and they thought I was going to fall for that well they thought wrong I did not fall and will not fall for that .

April 2024 UPDATE: Don Wright assisted me with gifting the plots to a family who could not afford them otherwise. In the end, there was a huge disconnect on the front end, but moving these to another family who will need them in the near term was a good outcome. Thanks Don and 3 stars to you. ================================================== I recently attempted to sell my parents unused Crestview cemetery plots. I called in and spoke with a gentleman [Jim?] who had me submit the ownership deeds so he knew what needed to be done should I find buyers. I mailed them to him and called back later to find if everything he needed was in place for me to sell the plots...he agreed they were. I began to advertise... Well we finally did find a buyer and negotiated a price for the plots. I called the gentleman back at HV - Crestview and told him I had buyers and he then told me that since my parents had not bought the plots directly from HV, but had bought them from the first owners, I would not be able to resell them again. When I asked for a reason, his feeble explanation was - Hampton Vaughn is preventing cemetery plot speculation by only allowing the plot transfer one time. WELL WHY DID HE NOT TELL ME THAT ON MY FIRST CALL AND SUBMISSION OF THE DEEDS? This entire process was without precedent and very unprofessional. I was told I could gift the plots or a blood relative could use them - however none of the relatives remain in WFT. My thoughts are, HV did not want this transaction to proceed as it prevented them from making a retail price sale of other cemetery plots.

I cant thank Don Wright, and Michael Russell enough for making me feel at ease during my time making arrangements for my mother. I felt everything was perfect for my mother. Michael was very professional and caring and took care of all my needs for my mother. Patricia Hall did an amazing job on my mother and Im very appreciative for her professionalism. My mother looked beautiful. Carie Wright was very professional helping me with any questions I had regarding the death certificates or anything else I needed. When I walked out of the funeral home, after making arrangements, I felt relieved and had no worries. If youre looking for a funeral home with caring employees this is the place. If I could give a 10 star I would give it. They were absolutely amazing and very professional

My family utilized Hampton Vaugh to make the arrangements for my uncle who passed away. I assisted my aunt with the paperwork and arrangements. While we were waiting for the paperwork to be finalized for my uncle, my aunt decided to purchase her plot. The man selling the plot quoted her a specific figure along with a discount. She signed the contract and after being at the funeral home over 3 hours, arrangements were finalized. Mind you, it was a simple graveside service with 2 songs, nothing elaborate but nice and simple. We should not have had to sit and wait 3 hours for everything to be finalized. Then the day of the service we are approached and told that the contract cut off at the bottom and my aunt needed to sign it again, WHILE AT THE GRAVESIDE! Very unprofessional. She signs the contract and we leave. Thinking everything is good with her plot and the arrangements, she receives 2 bills in the mail; one for her plot and 1 for the opening/closing. DOUBLE what she was quoted. There was NO mention of the additional charge for the opening/closing. She specifically said she just wanted to purchase the plot at that time based on the amount told to her. I have called to discuss the bills for my aunt and have left 5 message for Steven, since I was told that is who I needed to speak with since the original lady didnt want to get in the middle of it, and have yet to receive a call back. I would NOT recommend Hampton Vaughn Crestview Funeral Home.

The chapel facility is very welcoming, clean and classy. The entire staff from the front door all the way to the ushers, driver and internment crew (a total of 10-12 people) were very kind, professional, well dressed, and personable. They offered to help in every way from loading the flowers and organizing the photos to having a fantastic sound engineer to facilitate the music playlist perfectly! (I m a professional musician and musically very demanding.) I played the digital piano and my friend Clint who was Merle Haggard s guitar player for 10 years played the guitar. They mic ed the guitar perfectly. I totally recommend Hampton Vaughan Crestview for all your needs. Roger Deerinwater did an excellent service and Patricia Hall was a stellar director. The best in Wichita Falls for sure! We gave my 93 year old Mother a great send off and they had her lookin great! God bless.

My wife and I elected, now that we are older (my wife says older not old), to preplan and make things as easy as possible for our kids when we do head out on our next adventure. Being from Wichita Falls, we elected to look at plots at Crestview Memorial and after meeting Yolanda, Steve and Don of Dignity Memorial Hampton Vaughn, we are certainly glad we did go to Crestview and Dignity Memorial. There is nothing easy about this process, but they were awesome in making it as easy as possible. Considerate and caring is what they are all about. They helped and advised us step by step thru the entire process from deciding on the plot to full funeral arrangements. When we thought about possibly upgrading part of our arrangement, Don (Manager) came in and said, Do what you want and we will make it work. And they did this through the whole process. Thanks; Yolanda, Steve and Don - we truly appreciate you. Jerry and Sue Myers

Horrible Funeral Home. When we are grieving the loss of a son-in-law they left our daughters legal name out of the obituary. She was married and with him for over 12 years and they have 3 wonderful children together. They tried to erase part of his beautiful life. His children will see this. I hope someday we can forgive them for what they did. We are very hurt and disappointed. This is a very unprofessional and uncaring company. They will do anything for money. Caring, Compassionate, Thoughtful, Sympathetic, Kind, and Helpful; I can not adequately describe how good Don Wright, and the staff at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home are. They helped my wife and I through the most difficult time in our lives after loosing our son in January 2021. Amid and partly because of Covid-19 and the record breaking freeze disaster, which damaged many areas of their building, which we never saw, they have worked seven days a week fulfilling the needs and wishes we had for Aarons final resting place. They remained steadfast and confidential to our wishes even amongst haranguing and badgering from other people who truly loved Aaron but were not next of kin. Every step of the way, every meeting, through all the arrangements they were Professional and Accommodating. I highly recommend Hampton Vaughan and Don Wright for you or your familys end of life needs! I wish there were more stars, they deserve them!

As a mother, the loss of my beautiful son Aaron has been unbearable. At a time of overwhelming sadness, it has been so very difficult to even muster the strength to make final arrangements. Fortunately, I and my family have been so blessed with the kindness and compassion of Don and Yolanda at Hampton Vaughn. They have worked with us diligently to ensure that my son will be honored and laid to rest with upmost dignity. It is worth mentioning that they have remained professional despite being placed in the midst of family disagreements regarding the obituary and the release of my sons remains. Please understand that that as next of kin, I made the decisions. The funeral home representatives were obligated to follow my wishes and should not bear the brunt of any unsavory reviews from individuals that did not agree with my decisions. This has been an incredibly sad time for all that loved my son. I am praying that despite this contention amongst those that are grieving, we can proceed with kindness and love towards each other.

I am not only grieving the loss of my best friend, husband, and father to my three children, but I also experienced extreme trauma in all this. I called several times to get the appropriate paper work and information regarding family decisions. I was told to shut up, and to quit harassing them or they would call the police. I was crying at this point confused, I still don t understand why I couldn t have the paperwork requested, but regardless when someone is grieving and has been through a traumatic experience, this is not how you treat someone. Corporate was called and they were very kind, but I would hope to never be any part of this business moving forward. It is shameful... my husband was my entire life.

There are no greater heartaches than losing a loved one. And on Dec 20,2019 we lost our Dad,Don Cook. On Nov 9,2020 we lost our beautiful Mama,Carolyn Cook. Hampton Vaughan was who we chose for both funerals. Both funerals were beautiful and everything we ask they be. The staff was courteous..compassionate and kind. Their knowledge answered questions before we even knew to ask them. Their suggestions were almost as if Mom and Pop were a part of their family, and they held us as we cried and they prayed with us and for us. I would like to acknowledge Patricia personally. She was such a blessing to me and my family. She was willing to do whatever she could do, to ease our heartache and devote her time and professional courtesy to my husband and me personally. She was an absolute friend when I needed one most. I hope she knows how much she helped our family say goodbye to our beautiful Mama. I will never forget her kind heart. If you need a final resting place for someone you love-Hampton Vaughan is a place where angels reside and kindness is surrounding you. Your tears, memories and prayers are always comforted and shared. I recently held final rites for my mother Billie Gore at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with burial services from the Mausoleum at Crestview cemetery due to inclement weather. Moms formal viewing was in the chapel which is beautiful on its own merits. Every single task I asked for was handled immediately by Mr. Ronnie Chestnut and Mr. James Hughes with perfection. They were available to make a very difficult task as painless as possible. Moms final presentation to her friends and family was absolutely beautiful. Her favorite color was green. There were no green caskets available, however Mr. Chestnut found and ordered a lovely green one especially for her and had it delivered in one day. The florist used to create the casket arrangement did outstanding work creating an individual masterpiece that captured moms spirit and love of nature. The video presentation created by inhouse staff was exceptional. I asked for special and unusual events which were welcomed and even encouraged. Catered food and beverages in the adjoining room was informal, relaxing and provided a welcoming environment for friends and family to congregate and reminisce. I brought in music at the last minute which was immediately incorporated into the service. Brochures provided by the facility were professional and a nice take away for attendees. Internment services the following day were handled with the same dignity and respect shown throughout the rites. The final memory box provided to me was a welcomed addition and contained many unexpected and heart warming memories of my loved one. Mom would have been honored and very pleased with every aspect of the services. I made the right choice and have no regrets. Robert Gore, Dallas, Tx.

This funeral home made a mockery of my moms funeral. The staff made no accommodation to ensure that her children and grandchildren were reserved seats near the front of the so-called chapel. Only her third husband and extensive family were seated at the front, leaving her children and only grandchild to find seats near the back. It was worse for the graveside service. Her children and only grandchild found standing room only. Make no mistake, my mother loved us and worshipped her only granddaughter. My mother would have expected the funeral home staff to be sensitive enough to the needs of broken families regardless of who was paying the bill. If her Alzheimers illness and subsequent deat werent traumatic enough, that incompetent funeral home put the cherry on top. The cavernous glaringly artificial lit facility they call a chapel is insult to injury. It is cold and impersonal and contains the very cheapest of a fake stained glass window, which is disproportionately small for the wall in which it floats. The sound system on which they played a very poor, souless and brassy recording Amazing Grace - not much thought or care put into that - was frought with static. I strongly advise against taking your patronage to this farce of a funeral home. They are not equipped to deal with complicated family needs at the time in a familys life when they need it most.

My father, Herb Sleeper, was buried here over 2 years ago. After paying for and coordinating everything for the headstone we STILL do NOT have a headstone placed. I have called numerous times and am promised each time by Crestview they will find out and call me back, but - Ive never received a call back. I just called and talked to Steve and he promised to find out and get back to me right away. Hopefully this is a lost paperwork thing and they solve it today. If so Ill be sure to post an update, but as for now, this is NOT anywhere approaching appropriate.

I attended a Cousins funeral here and everything seem to be fine. We just had a graveside service then was invited back over to the funeral home for lunch. Everything went well and they were very nice to us while we were there.

My best friend, husband, and grandparents buried here. My friends bought 2 plots several years ago. After the death of their youngest son (36) passed from congestive heart failure, they had him cremated. They decided to be cremated as well and had their plots up for sale for several years. With no luck of selling them, they decided to be cremated and placed in plot space, but they wanted their son to be buried with the first parent that passed away. The mom went first and this place wanted an additional $1500. To put the sons ashes with his mom, who would be with dad too. He said, he would not pay such price since the hole is already opened. When the husband passed away, he had full military service, but they gave the flag to the daughter instead of the eldest son. The director treated the son as if he were trash only because he was a biker and dressed in his vest and leather jacket. I would not bury my worst enemy here. I think they are crooks as their prices are ridiculous. The husbands service looked so cheap and bare.
